After all, charity alone doesn’t pay the bills so the truly-charitable must rely on someone who sells something and gets paid, to put food on the table for both. Shaq’s comments seemed logically sensible hence my word choice of ‘wisdom.’ There can be wisdom in marketing. There can be zero wisdom in statements that have no marketing strings attached. I thanked Shaq on the content, not on the packaging.
I was never a fan of basketball in general, but after Shaq retired I became a fan of who he is as an idol. Much respect for what he does for people.

I love Bob - he’s a good dude and definitely entertaining, but it’s becoming painfully obvious that he’s not a good fit as host of the podcast. Finding a role that better highlights his strengths would be a smart move for the podcast, Nelk, and certainly his own career too.
