I love how you say you've had your 8-year-old scissors 'forever'. I've had mine for more than 40 years. Not sure how much longer than forever that equates to ;)
Amy I just love listening to you. You get very into what you are talking about... I am so like that much to my kids' embarressment. lol... Anyway, I love my cutterbees and I am glad to know about the tephlons as I almost bought them last time as I need a second pair due to kids not knowing the rules. Ours run about $10 without a coupon, so really you can't go wrong. Have a great Sunday. Hugs, Lisa G
Your review on your Inks, was awsome, it really helped a lot in figuring which black ink to use with copic, prisma pencils, etc. You are a kick too watch, and when ever your little one is making noise in the background, it just tickles my funny bone. Keep up the great work, Linda...
Love you Amy! I watch your videos because the tips and reviews you do and really love your cards you make!! Keep making vids and thank you so much...ur the best!!!! Love, CraftyBatz
I got my Cutter Bee scissors at Walmart's not long ago and paid $9.95 plus tax for them...I've seen them in scrapbooking store for $14.95 for the same ones so Walmart's is the best buy for me...love your videos'Amy, such lovely cards... Denise Trottier
I've tried it with other scissors and it works OK - but I won't do that with my detail scissors. I don't like what the tinfoil does to them - they don't cut as smoothly IMO after.
Fiskars make a scissor sharpener.. have you heard from anyone (or tried for yourself) if its any good? I've been trying to find a good pair of scissors for fussy cutting so thank you for this, was very helpful!
Gee I have the Cutter Bee scissors both teflon and regular. I think the teflon is just as thin in the blade, sharper and my go to scissor for detail cutting. Thanks for the review.
Hi Amy, Thanks for the video! Have you ever tried cutting through tin foil to sharpen your scissors - I've never tried it myself but heard it on Better Homes and Gardens (Australian edition) a few weeks ago and remembered the tip when you mentioned getting scissors sharpened. Thanks for all your videos - love them all! Also I showed some of your cards which I bought of etsy to my sister over the weekend when she was visiting and she loves your work too! Lisa :)
No sorry I decided some time ago that I won't do any videos on how I do my nails - have many reasons but the main one is I just don't have the time! :)
Hi Amy love following you I’ve learned so much. Question I need precision cutting scissors for very small quarter inch scale paper. I heard that curved ones are the best for that what’s your opinion?
Heads up to people who think cutting "tin" foil will sharpen your punches and scissors and blades, PLEASE STOP. My husband worked in a steel foundry for 25 yrs. as a metallurgist and would put different metals together to get a stronger metal. Tin is like the softest metal out there and the way you sharpen steel is by using a stronger steel to file away the dents and flaws in a blade so what you are actually doing is dulling the blades by using tin foil on them. You're welcome. Get them sharpened by a person who sharpens blades for a living. You will be much happier. Spread the truth about tin foil.
I'm glad I found this review BEFORE I bought my scissors. I have leaned toward the Cutter Bee, but actually was considering the Tim Holtz. Going to stick with my original idea of Cutter Bee.
I have never really understood the whole Teflon scissors thing...supposedly nothing sticks, but, for example after cutting out EZ Mount there is just as much sticky on my teflon scissors as on my regular Kai pair. And since I clean them with drug store alcohol pads...I don't have any trouble getting anything off either! So if the Teflon scissors are more expensive, just buy the regular kind!!
They're gel and sorry I won't recommend anything to anyone who isn't professionally certified. I've been a certified aesthetician for over 4 years now - it's what I do full time :)

I have had my hair cutting scissors for 42 yrs. Junior yr. in high school I went to beauty college. Same ones I have used for all these years. :0)
Aw that would be fab - we don't get Target in Canada 'till next summer I think!

Great, thanks for the review. I have the Cutterbee and love them, yes it's a must to have "ribbon" only scissors!
Thanks for all the information. I am looking for detail scissors.
I've tried it with other scissors and it works OK - but I won't do that with my detail scissors. I don't like what the tinfoil does to them - they don't cut as smoothly IMO after.
No I've never tried it - if I run across it though I'll have to try it out!

Does any of these manufactures also make lefthanded scissors? I really have a hard time finding them.
Thanks for sharing!
The cutter bee are the same that the color bee ??
Gee I have the Cutter Bee scissors both teflon and regular. I think the teflon is just as thin in the blade, sharper and my go to scissor for detail cutting. Thanks for the review.
Are your nails acrylic or UV gel? i just purchased everything to put on uv gel nails from home. What do you like the most and what do you recommend?
I showed them in the video and talked about them - I use the Paper Snips for my ribbon.
What about the titanium coated scissors be cutterbee/ek sucess...do u have any experience using
Would it be crazy to ask you to make videos on how you do your nails and how you decorate them?
Could you please recommend what scissors are good for ribbon?

Great video Amy! I'll be sending this one to a few friends :)
never tried them - I prefer uncoated scissors for detail work as they're thinner.
Hi Amy love following you I’ve learned so much.

I've never used curved scissors

Cutterbee scissors are the BEST! I have three pairs... one for ribbon ony.
I'm glad I found this review BEFORE I bought my scissors. I have leaned toward the Cutter Bee, but actually was considering the Tim Holtz. Going to stick with my original idea of Cutter Bee.
I love my TH scissors but not for fussy/detail cutting - I still stand by (and use and have multiples of lol) my good old Cutter Bee ones :)

hi,thank you for the tips...
If any of you are looking for the pink verion instead of the yellow. I found them at target. :)
I love my Cutter Bee Scissors.....!!!!
Not that I know of sorry! Finding scissors for lefties isn't easy! :(

My mother was a seamstress for many years. If you touched her scissors you butt was roasted. It's true, you should label your scissors.
