Thank you for showing "how to" from start to finish. You made it less threatening ❤
You deserve a whole lot more subscriptions. Huhu. Thanks a lot!
Just learning about hydroponics and this would be a great way to start. Thank you so much!
GREAT VIDEOS! KEEP THEM COMMING!
Thank you for REusing household products and keeping them out of the landfill - that's all part of it!!
They should be in a landfill rather than in your diet and accumulating inside your body
@CarolNason 🤣🤣😂😂😆😆😑😑🙄🙄🥱🥱🤡🤡
@@-whackd If you look closely, you'll see that everything she uses is food-grade. (And if it's not, you still don't want it in your landfill, otherwise it will get in your food/body regardless, just a different avenue). Just don't purchase/use plastics at all if you are concerned even about food-safe plastics.
That is very nice produce. Thanks for sharing you made every thing so simple.I will try setting up my garden ( less space too).😊
Love this video! New sub! I'm going to try this! Thanks so much for this awesome information.❤

Super excellent video
How many times you have to change the water?
Tnx a lot.
Excelente trabalho. parabēns
Incredible
Thanks a million. I wish I had seen this before the other time-wasting ones I saw. Once again, thanks.
You deserve the {BEST VIDEO AWARD} on UA-cam 😁 Thank you so much 😁🎉

Very good Guide for first timer.will definitely try.😄
Great video, just subscribed.
Please can you make videos on how to germinate all those seeds. I need to start mine ASAP. Please, i want to learn more from you. Thank you
Thank you know I can
Visually Beautiful in addition to being practical! 😊👍
Thank you!🌱🙂
ill try at home ..
Great video. I am just starting and went to get a roasted chicken at Walmart for the container to make micro greens. No more containers they sell them in bags. But you have shown me so many other containers. I just have to save for the 3 bags of nutrients. Thank you. New subscriber.
I don’t eat out much so I just get some food saving containers at the dollar tree. There is no way I can collect all those containers since we make milk with milk powder, we don’t drink soda or juices from the store and I make my own iced tea and use mason jars and I cook from scratch. So $1.25 for a container works for me 😊❤
Nice
Hi, thanks for your video. I cannot get hold of Calcium Nitrate, can I use Calcium Ammonium Nitrate?
Thank you, this was great! However I do have a question. We do vertical towers and use 2 - 50 gallon drums with a pump ( we have 38 towers and use the verti gro system). Would I take your nutrient solution and multiply it by 10 for the 50 gallon drums?
Also where is the best place to get the nutrients to do it ourselves? TIA. Linda
Any ideas for starting avocados?
Very nice video. Please is sunlight required?
How often do you replace the water in the container?
What natural things can use for nutrition
Dingding pala maam, salamat poh
So what are pumps and filters for!
Why would you go through all that effort to put them in such tiny holes at the start, only to rip out half or more of their starting root foundation and basically cripple your entire potential?
May I know what country are you growing this in? I'm in the UK you think this is possible outdoors?
Thank you for the great video. The tomatoes etc, are they in what looks like soil?
The tomatoes were grown in styroboxes using clay pebbles as growing medium and to support the plants. Other option to use as growing medium specially growing root vegetables, are cocopeat/coir & perlite.🌱🙂
Can you use fish fertilizer
Hi I'd like to use organic solution. Do you have any recommendation you know works?
Measurements of water nutrient solution pls.ty
thank you for the video- were the seeds micro greens that you separated after they germinated? or were they just regular seed that you started with?
Seeds are seeds. There is no difference.

Thank you lalabs💜. Oo enjoy mag tanim nakakawala din ng stress. 🌱🥰
Can we use bioenzyme solution
Can I just use l.a.b for nutrients? (Lactic acid bacterium)
Plrase let me know what is nutrient solution and where to get it
May i inquire hiw much sunlight is needed to grow the plants?
I'm new to Kratky hydroponics and after watching many other videos, have come to similar methods as this video. The solutions summarized here are the most simple and least expensive way to do it with reusable household items.
Is there a benefit to laying milk cartons horizontally vs just vertically and put the transplant in the normal smaller cap opening? It could save use of another pool noodle. A couple of downsides could be the diameter may be too small for thick plants, and thre water level changes more from top to bottom.
Also any tips on how to check water levels in the coke cans and milk cartons other than lifting the whole plant regularly?
I am pleased to know that you were able to find helpful ideas in this video. I did tried both vertically and horizontally on the milk cartons. The only advantage laying it down is, it has a better support as the plant matures but either way works fine. With the water level, Since these containers are small, it's not necessary to install a water gauge for monitoring the water level. What I usually do is check them two weeks after transplanting and refill if needed. Typically, hydroponic plants takes off after two weeks as they become established in their new environment. I hope this helps!🌱🙂
Sir the npk ur adding is cemecal please explain in the video sir
How often or after how many days later one should refill the nutrients?
Why was the recipe reduced from the directions on the bag? Thank you in advance. I don’t mind using less.
How to grow nastratium
Can cabbage and cauliflower grow like this
Have to say🧐 even though I had to read it all🤪 easy af for anyone to start after just this video here(ask me that is)💪
K ow I'm following 🙏🙏💨💨
I dont see a single fly.... how do you do it? No bugs??? Outdoors is a pain here in Florida...
awesome video, thx!!! Question: do you ever change the water?
For leafy greens no change of water, just refill when necessary. With plants with long growth span like tomatoes, peppers, eggplants etc.. I do clean the reservoir/buckets and replace nutrients at least 2x for the entire growth of the plants. I hope this helps!🌱🙂
@@healinghobbies it does, thank you!
@@healinghobbies How do you know when to change out the nutrients ? Just when the plant looks like it is not thriving any longer?
How big of a plant can you plant in one of those milk containers, or soda cans? For example, would strawberries work in a milk carton?
I wouldn't recommend growing fruiting plants in a small container, they takes up a lot of nutrients as they grow and bear fruits. Use at least 5 gallons or bigger. With leafy greens small containers up to one gallon works fine. 🌱🙂
The npk is chemical..is that a good idea for the vegetables?
Ahahaha, When I saw the cans, I just smiled and laughed so hard. My front yard is filled with cans with veggies growing in them. It's not as artisically set up as yours, but what works works, right?
I have to know though. I ruined a good can opener trying to cut the tops off of cans. it still works for food cans but it won't open any more soda tops. Are you using a basic can opener to get your soda can tops off or some other device? ( Nevermind, I got ahead of the vid. I see you used a knife.)
I gave up trying to open the tops and just put a wedge of pool noodle in the regular drinking opening with a sprout and let it go from there. Makes refilling hard, but by the time it needs a refill the plant has grown to young harvest size. If it works, right?
Clever use of a steam cooker!
I have been saving my almond milk cartons to do the same. I used ones since last year and they are starting to fall apart! They are really nice and dark and a good size. I hadn't thought to put a separate hole for the noodle but I can see how that would make refilling them easier via the spout, if needed.
Yes it doesn't have to be aesthetically appealing, what matters most is you are happy in the process and you love what you do. I can relate to removing those can lids 😀 my can opener won't work with those cans so I have to use a knife which is not so easy to use🙂🌱.
are you not worried about the chemical absorption from plastics, aluminum or styrofoam?
I don't have the Master lendo 4-18-38 available near me or shipping it at a affordable price here in my country. The closest I was able to find is a 6-15-20. Would this be fine to use? Should I buy potassium and add to the mixture?
If it's water soluble and includes micronutrients like iron, boron etc. it should work fine. I wouldn't add any mixture except Calcium Nitrate & Epsom salt specially if you are growing leafy greens. Also, follow the recommended manufacturers ratio when mixing nutrients. I hope this helps!🌱🙂
Thanks for sharing. Please reduce the background music lower volume, 50% or more 40%
Wow. The music doesn’t bother me. You can always turn your device on mute. 😊❤
How often do you change the water and nutrient solution for each coke can??
No change of nutrients with the coke can. I just refill/add nutrients about 3-4x up to harvest since it's a smaller container.🌱🙂
So you switch from water to the MB solution as soon as they sprout correct?
No, the water is just for misting to keep the seeds moist. Bottom feed with nutrient solution.🌱🙂
How come the tomatoes were noticeably not growing in light opaque containers?
Pro tip..... A can opener will cleanly open the top of the cans
Iss me rupees kitne lagege items ke
Hnd na need check ang PH level?
How will I please know that my crops need nutrients refill
With small containers, typically I would check them two weeks after transplanting then refill when necessary. During refill, ensure to leave an inch gap between the top base of the roots and nutrient solution to allow air to grow and prevent drowning the plants. If you have a larger container like one gallon jugs those were ideal for growing one head of lettuce up to harvest with no refill needed. I hope this helps!🌱🙂
