I have A PK original and it's the best present my wife ever got me ! Everything this guy said is absolutely, 100% true and then some. I've used mine year round and the only thing that I recommend to get with it are grill grates! They actually seem to help hold onto the heat and you use less charcoal. Best grill ever to cook a steak on !!!
These PK smoker/ grills seem to never wear out (with the exception of maybe the rack stand on the old origional model) because aluminum does not rust. As far as the stand goes, I am not even sure if it got broken or lost in transit during a relocate, since he was enlisted USAF and we moved so often. We just don't know or remember where it is. It is my dads grill. My dad is in his mid 70's and has had one since about 1975. I tried to talk him out of it but got shut down and tuned out. These smoker grills are so awesome and versitile that is why I am here on their Yoitbe channel researching new models , when I spend money I only want to spend it one time for an item and have it last far into my retirement, I don't like replacing things every few years.
Mine is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, can't wait! I love my Classic and this should be great for burgers and chops and whatnot. More PK GO videos please!
