This should have more views. Anything with Franklin should have more views. My uncle and his brother out west have not seen this channel and they both have PK’s out in the west
I have this Grill, The AF version. He added a shelf to one side which is practically unusable when the lid is open (note how he has the lid removed in this video). The little front shelf is nice but it would be better if it folded down and was larger. Overall, it's a great grill, but it could be much better with these changes.
Can you lease tell me the distance between the charcoal tray and the grill grate (for both 360 and 300AF)? Your phone customer service was not able to tell me. Thanks
Just purchased a big ole prime ribeye that's going on the PK this weekend. What's the knife Aaron's got in this video ? I think we may like to get one of thosen.
I'm sorry but as a texan Aaron Franklin BBQ is over rated..it's not that it isn't good or great even, it's that there are at least a dozen others that are just as good or better, especially when it comes to Brisket.. in fact, as a native Texan, the best brisket I've ever had was in Odessa......honestly, there are so many good BBQ joints in Texas it really comes down to preference..
Overrated is a strong word, and I disagree. Overrated is a word reserved for those who are nowhere near great. And Franklin is obviously great. And rhe numbers dont lie.. There are a number of Google and even great places in TX that's the beauty of it, and folks will always have an opinion.. However, the numbers never lie, and a James Beard Award also speaks for itself. I'd also go as far as to say that the explosion of good bbq is because of Aaron, Snows, and Terry Blacks. People come from all over to Franklin 3 or 5 times from around the world.. Anthony Bourdain has flipped out over Franklin bbq, Gordon Ramsay has.. I would say that a great deal of people have been inspired by Franklin bbq and that the central style is spreading not just around Texas but all over the country.
I'm sitting in an office in a grey London England and that has just lifted my day
Man a recipe with Franklin brightens our day even with this happiness machine it's all good
Dude is a master of his craft

When he says "Par-cook", does that mean cooking in an oven until the intermal meat temp hits 117°?
This is my question also.
Google says yes
Love it. Will try this on my PK too.

Awesome video! what the charcoal brand?
🤤🤤🤤
Dear PK, have you considered a “Jess Pryles version? I personally learned about you by watching her videos. If Aaron can have one, why not Jess?
To done for me
Wow. You nearly strung together an entire sentence. Great comment.
If it's too done for someone it's not done enough for another.
PK made in China. Weber made in the USA, no brainer...
Actually the original capsules are still made in the USA but having cooked a ton on both, it’s like the kids say. If you know you know.
