Because it's just a bunch of clips from manufactures marketing videos. This channel doesn't know anything about aircraft. You can really tell when the voice over keeps mispronouncing 'Dassault' over and over
Well that is true but gulfstream is owned by General Dynamics which makes the F-16 which is probably better than any french jet. Plus they don't use fighter jet engines on busness jets
U disagree U think the French make better fighter planes they don't even have a 5th gen fighter out. i am not saying u are wrong just think u doubt the capability of a F22 compared to any french plane
@@kemithapeiris overall I know that the U.S. fighters are better, I'm a Marine..but all I'm saying is that the 10X is an impressive commercial aircraft.....but the French Mirage is no joke..it has had success against the f22 and the f16, first plane to shoot down and f22 in simulated dog fight
Respect on the marine. u probably know more than me after all i am only a student. the Mirage simulation, i assumed that was just propoganda to boost the mirage guess i was wrong u our right the 10x is an impressive plane . just wondering during the similation was the F-22 in absolute steath like u know like no communication because I assumed it wouldn't show up on radar cause the composite coating which is meant to absorb the radar waves or scramble them is in all the F-22 in service
Wasn't a easy win for G800,I thought it was going to totally dominant falcon 10x,but it was close,the Gulfstream still wins,I wouldn't mind adding the Falcon 10x to my fleets though.✍️

You only compare the Dassault falcon 10X and the Gulfstream G800. But you for get that there is a 3rd aircraft in the same category which is the Bombardier Global 8000. All 3 ULR business jets has a similar range and more..... But for me, the Dassaul falcon 10X and the Bombardier Global 7500 and 8000 are my favourite aircraft.
Gulfstream makes an amazing plane. they don't just sell to you because you're rich. you have to be able to maintain it. My dad flew a G-5 and it had to go to gulf stream twice a year. You never hear of gulf stream crashing.
wouldn't the G700 be a better comparison as it offers more interior room, IE is the largest Gulfstream and would be against the largest Dassault Falcon with both having a private bedroom suite and shower option?
As someone that is looking at both of these, I only have one suggestion. I could be wrong, but most individuals considering these jets are probably Baby Boomers or a little younger. While I appreciate the most 25 years old's prefer one second images, remember, we are not 25 year old's! From a artistic perspective the video is very cool, and again, young people will like that it appeals to their short attention span. But my question would be..... who is your target audience? If it is 18 year old's, GREAT. If it is people my age, without making it drawn out, we do actually like to look at things, it is just what we are accustomed to. Thank you, and I will have to just go to NBAA in October, or actually one of my business partners just purchased a 8X, and even though it is different, it will at least give me an idea when we fly overseas next month. But I appreciated the comparison, though I think I like the G650ER over the G800. Great video
Nice video, but this an apples to oranges comparison. The G800 has a 10’ shorter cabin than the G700. The G700 will be flagship for cabin size, directly comparable to the 10X, yet a faster maximum Mach (Mm0) at .935. The G800 will have the cabin size of the G650, but when all is said and done, a legitimate range of 8000 nautical miles or better (think Pacific Ocean crossing). Much farther than the D10X or the G700.

everything in the beginning is off. forget no private jet flys subersonic else you take the global 8000 in to account. but the capability to fly supersonic in that jet is in a dive full throttle without stalling. not a flight option. and those ranges? lol no

why??? The Falcon X has a much larger 4 zone cabin, whereas the Gulfstream G800 has only 3 zones, because it is a shorter version of the G700. If you don't need the extra range of 500 nm of the G800, you would better take the Falcon 10x. And if you need the extra range you would better take the Bombardier 8000 which offers the same range as the G800 , but also has the much larger 4 zone cabin of the falcon 10x.

Maybe the manufacturers had to take them supersonic during certification flight testing.
Several Gulfstreams have gone Mach 1 during flight test in a downward attitude, it's just not advertised.
I like the G800, but the final factor is the Dassualt is the same company that builds the French Fighters..and their fighters are top notch!

Both aircraft are very good but for a long flight the extra 11 inches of cabin width makes a huge difference in passenger comfort.
