i'm really liking the design you've laid out so far. removing green portals and making roads all blue portals for groups to roam around, the addition of the mists to replace green portal content, new road zones connected to HO rests via gold portals for raid content. it sounds like the roads is being chopped up into the 3 content sizes that was actually intended. im hyped.

It was time to make an update on the roads of avalon, from my point of view it was a feature quite quickly forgotten by most of players (bringing power core + chests like in the OW, are really great)
I really hope the time for charges to reappear will get an increase for the blue portals. People will start funnelling 14 or even more into high value roads and it may just turn into zerg content like openworld. RIP small 3-5 man groups.

I’m confused where are the chests at the roads dungeons with the Avalon Ian mobs, I havnt seen any bosses or chests only just a bunch of mobs together could someone help me out?
Is there really single player content in the mist? I don't think so, people can also enter the mist. So it's not really single player content but single player instance.
It was non sense to enter a green port and having yellows and blue portal next door, neither entering a yelow that only have green ports, roads of avalon was a great idea with a bad execution.

By the description the mists might be better than then the roads for solo players anyway, with the max amount of players allowed in the mists as well as no 15 man gank squads you just use a bear and are invincible

I'm always in the Black Zone and at most I get between 7 or 8, but of those times they will have killed me 5% and that's because I only go to farm resources on the roads of Avalon and make green chests. @ALEX DEC i also had the same issue and left the game for a long time,but i came back and saw that there are some places in black zone which there were less hideouts and there are open farming places far from the roadways, check them and go farm fame from open world monsters, believe me you will see less players most of them are farmers and dont ever use roadways and go back with the teleport thing it is so cheap, i am playing like that i just died twice and both i attacked them 😂😂
How to do you always manage to make changes to the game that I like? Albion is legit the first game where I'm happy about Updates and I've been playing competitive PvP Games for over 10 years.
you should fix in next update UTC timers, especially 18utc,21utc where you have a lot of contest in those zones. its really unbalanced when 1 NA guild can have 5 teritories because of no contest on the other hand there are so many EU guilds which are contesting few 18-21 UTC maps its ridicolous. make for us atleast some statement about this topic

I think it is a great idea, but it would make the roads more a place for small scale groups. But i think there are a lot of duo groups out there who are unhappy because they now can't have any 'good' contend except hellgates. The mists are focused on solo players and the roads on smallscale groups, the open world would be more for big groups of players. This leaves the duos not really an option to get their Pve contend. I think it would be a great idea to have 2 separate 'world'in the mists, one for solo players and one for duos. Or do the same with the roads. Thank you!
big groups will use the avalon roads much more in my opinion, open world will only have gatherers, gankers and duo or trio players. but it's just a prediction...

Imo small portals should stay but may spawn randomly. This will give more variety of gameplay to all players and would be interesting. Overall good changes.

I have no idea what is road of Avalon but I know of Avalonian stuff like the sandwich, I would just buy Avalonian stuff from marketplace. I hope those players get good loot to sell.
So there is but one issue I see with the update after testing it out~ And that is the "Your equipment gets damanged when you log out" thing. I am 100% behind the idea of getting teleported out of the roads since that is really nice for poeple to not scout zones permamently. But the fact that ALbion is not the most stable game in the world and that we have a daily server reset that can actually screw you quite badly I dont think its a perfect feature yet. Of course Im well aware that if the damage feature is removed people could very easily transport stuff out of the roads but I do think there needs to be a more advanced system to stop scouting. One example that you could absolutely use would be that a scouting (or roaming) player is send to a totaly different zone somewhere deep in the roads or spit out into the blackzone somewhere. You can even say its "Thanks to the mystical powers of the mists blabla" Or something XD Anyways... Great update aside from that! Lovely work!
add a section in stats: "FAME FROM TOMES" and give us a quality of life option for farming, to PLANTS ALL, WATER ALL, TAKE ALL... and dont take forever to do them all
right now im makin 2 - 4 millions per hour on the roads, just gathering, without a ho or guild, i depend a lot on the green portals to scape from gankers, lets see if the new roads are rewarding as well, since my economy right now is great and this changes will affect it
