Quick question...what is your favorite brand of soft glass?... what size do you use most?
I have 8 pounds of glass from Devardi Glass...it’s absolute shit...full of bubbles, streaks and most 10-12 inch rods run from 2mm to around 10mm. That makes it REAL hard to learn to control the heat and amount of glass added to a bead. I’m finding I like the 1-2 inch stringers a lot. Thanks for the answers

@@elizabethwatson71 Juliet here.... My overall favorite is Effetre. I also have a lot of Lauscha and Color is Messy glass. Double Helix is fabulous but fantastically expensive. I do have a little bit of Devardi (it can be shocky) but I do like their pink!!

Thank you for sharing, this video was very creative and looks like so much fun! I cannot wait to try making a lure.
May I ask where you find the stainless steel rings you thread onto the three wire hooks you made, and what gauge wire do you recommend?
Thank you again for the great video!

do you sell these? I did not see any on your website. Please respond if you do sell them. I am interested. These are awesome works of fishing art.

    Kool vid. Thanks.
Just a thought here but would it help try running a cooler flame when playing with the silver mica?
Maybe it's turning white because your glass temps (overheating) are crystalizing, hence the whitish color.
Could always encase it and apply.

Thanks! I did encase it a d was careful to keep the mica out of the flame. Maybe the encasing glass needs to be cooler though. I can try that sometime. Thanks.

@@julietpage4322 Welcome. Definitely lets us know your results. I run into similar issues when encasing fumed tubing and sleeving if not careful with internal temps.
