  • In this video I show you my process for recycling an antique book that was meant to have been discarded into a functional binder. I take you through all of the steps in my process, and chat with you a bit about the plans I have for using this binder for my own personal journaling. I hope you enjoy the video. Thanks for watching!

The music was fine and very relaxing. Not distracting at all. Very nice project. Thanks for sharing.

This gave me a lot of great ideas for some journals, so thank you for that. And I applaud you for teaching memorization, especially in this day and age of technology. Your children did a great job! I like that you involve yourself in their daily lives. I'm afraid this is becoming a lost art. Thanks you for sharing!

I found the music very relaxing and soothing as you worked. I loved this tutorial and would love to see more like it. I would be interested in seeing you decorate it. Your children are adorable and they did an awesome job quoting their verses. It is such a lovely thing to teach them and yourself to memorize incredible verses and poems. I will have to start doing that with my Grandchildren and myself. I've been making journals for a little over 3 years. This was a first for me. Thank you and Godspeed.

What a great project, I enjoyed this very much. Reattaching the spine is a terrific idea, it looks wonderful. Memorizing is a challenge, and I think you are right about the why of our not memorizing as much. A journal with you session would be fun, I would enjoy seeing that, your music is very nice, and soothing. Good touch to the overall presentation. Your children did an excellent job, and what a great Christian mom you are! Bravo.

This is a personal journal craft project, not a book binders tutorial. It turns trash to treasure. Dont go to craft videos for technical instructions and you won't be disappointed.
