My past girlfriend's best friend is godmother to Tony Spilotro's son, I think they lived in Oak Park or Elmwood Park, and I many moons ago in the 70's had lunch at a table next to Tony Accardo at Nielsen's Restaurant in Oak Park ,wow, memories of bygone times.
Not too many outlandish ones, they were advised to get normal looking homes to not stick out. You’ll see boss Tony Accardo is on here twice, his first one was the big one. After being advised it was too much, he moved into the smaller one. Although I hear it goes deep and has a full bowling alley.
Wow, great stuff could have been even better, You showed Accardo and Ricca's homes in River Forest, Il......Elmwood Park is north on Harlem 1/3 mile for Jackie The Lackie and Giancana's (probable) killer, his bodyguard and chauffer Butch Blasi Then when showing Nitti in Riverside, hitman and premier wheelman Big John Fecarrota was there along with Milwaukee Phil Alderisio's fortress. 1/2 mile away is where I lived, Berwyn, Il There you'd find who the Chicago Crime Commision called the "Lord High Execution of the Outfit" Fifi Buccieri and Jimmy LaPietra, Angelo's brother.
Did you ever go to The Loon cafe on Thatcher next to the Metra Tracks, before Elmwood Cemetery, a lot of these old timers had meetings there until they all perished.
@@dc10fomin65 Hello. The 3 times I tried to stop in the Loon when I lived in Berwyn I was greeted with, "Sorry, we're closed for a private party." Marco "The Mover" stared at me non-stop. Don't believe Loon Cafe is still operating?
As much as we know people have done good and bad. They did it mostly for greed, or satisfaction on some level. Their deeds are part of history regardless if we like it or not. Denying what happened such as, war, murder, genocide, corruption, rape, pillage, plunder, racism or slavery, you can't cherry pick the past. You can't change it. There is no do over, reset button, or it's an app, that let's you begin again. You must, must learn from it, or you are damned to repeat it.
