you get clouds. I get voxel cubes. I have redone the entire tutorial twice and adding the octane object tag just renders voxels, not the wispy clouds you get.
I found a good solution for those who want to use the noise to animate the clouds; instead of converting the connect to mesh, you can take out one of the "connect group" outside and turn it off and take an instance object and replace it; that will solve it
For those of you who gets voxel cubs, solution is simple, use connect and delete to make your cloud into one geo, then put it in the fog vol builder.
Good solution!
I'm sooooo glad you to share your tips 😍😍😍😍 this tip is way more helpful for me. thxxx again ㅜㅜ
No problem! Don't forget to subscribe if you dont want to miss more videos like this, we upload new stuff all the time;)
Thank you CG for making our life easy with your AWESOME C4D Tutorials :) love from INDIA
No problem Gogoishere, loads more tutorials at cgshortcuts.com
Great tutorial, consider doing a video on render passes because they seem to have changed quite a bit in Octane
We cover this in depth in our Octane Masterclass, check it out here: cgshortcuts.com/product/the-ultimate-octane-masterclass
same here! I only got some cube after using octane tag :(
Looks like Octane has made some changes, we'll do an updated clouds video soon;)
This doesn't seem to work. I get voxel cubes
We'll do a new verion of this tute soon with Pyro
very nice
No worries, loads more tutorials at cgshortcuts.com

@@draven8560 That worked. Thanks.
@@draven8560 I couldn't find anything to talk to you about
Click command+ C on the Connect to make it edible, this should solve the problem
Same
same thing. Did you solve it yet?

Nice!
Thanks great a tutorial! but however For me, the volume builder only comes out in a square shape in Octane. Why doesn't it look like fog?
An Octane update has broken this tute, we'll be redoing it soon
@@CGShortcuts thanks! but I put tag in the lower volume builder. it is looks like a fog.
can i make this effect with corona render
Not sure, we've vever used Corona;)
The link for the project doesnt work((
Our bad, link should work now;)
@@CGShortcuts Thanx a lot!
Has anyone figured out a solution to this yet? Tried all the solutions in the comments but nothing seems to work
We'll do an updated tutorial soon
Solution for getting cubes, is to add octane object Tag for the volume mesher too and set particle rendering to None
Great idea! Thanks for sharing!
shouldn't this tutorial be deleted since it doesn't work?
It mostly works fine, software changes over time though. We're working on a better updated version anyway so will link to it here as well.
couldn’t find octane

Why hasn't the updated video been uploaded yet and why isn't there a proper solution? As soon as a tag is given, it is given only in cube form.
Takes time to make these videos bud, got to get through a lot of other requests first
