I’m impressed with how much Chris knows and he shares it with us not only about Disneyland but also universal studios I really appreciate the time you take to do research to bring us this facts.
Hi Chris, you commented that you are not sure why people love these full tour videos since you love the secret fact videos more. I am from New England, and use your videos as vacation planning so that I can get the most out of my short time in the parks. I really appreciate your taking the time to get me prepared. I really love your purple tie and all of your different socks! Keep it up!
Growing up in SoCal, Universal Studios was my birthday present from my mom EVERY year. I took the VIP Tour 3 years ago and got to take personal pictures at the Court of Miracles. It was a special request of my Tour Guide. She actually took me by myself as the other guests were viewing another part of the tour as we walked the back lot. The Court of Miracles was where The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Charles Laughton version) and where Frankenstein comes into the village during his first rampage in 1931. It was a very special moment that I will never forget. Thanks Chris for the awesome day. YOU are incredible along with Amanda and Miles a beloved part of our family here. Go Padres!
I enjoyed this very much, I was there back in 90' when the Back to the future lot was still in its future mode...I enjoyed the tram ride. The street lot was used for Janet Jackson Alright' video.
I just went there for the first time since I was a kid. So much had changed. I remembered Kongfrontation, Terminator, E.T., and Back to the Future. Everything was so much fun
I love this!!! The atmosphere of you walking around the park (as opposed to just a voiceover showing pictures) is great, and the little comments about your family or movie quotes make this so fun to watch :) we're going to Universal in two days, and I am my family's appointed tour guide, so I'm watching to study up on facts and history. This is exactly what I needed and such a great video!
Also, an interesting aside: you said Radioactive Man is the only character with four fingers. In fact, the character of God (who appears in a few episodes) has four fingers as well!
The last time I was in Universal Studios our daughter was 3 years old. She's 32 now, LOL. A LOT has changed. There were very few rides and the tram ride was the big thing. They still had The Star Trek Experience as a cross-over with Paramount. Not to brag but I got to be a Klingon in the show. As a life-long Trekkie, I was happy to no end. Even then it took all day to visit. I can only imagine how it is now.
I was five years old when I visited Universal Studios in the early seventies. I don't remember much except seeing the area where they filmed H.R. Puffenstuff and the house from the Munsters. I also remember being scared by a vampire who stood like a statue at the entrance until he jumped out at my family. There wasn't nearly as much to do. So thank you for the update tour!
Chris, I'm so happy that you have added Universal Studios Hollywood to your park experiences. So much to do and see there. Hollywood history is there for every fan to walk through. Just as Disneyland is the original (where Walt walked) so Universal Studios Hollywood is the original studio tour. Thanks, again. Looking forward to seeing many more Universal Studios Hollywood adventure with you as our guide.
The Three Broomsticks is probably my favorite restaurant in the whole park, so a feature on that would be cool. But for shows, Waterworld would be amazing to have a full feature behind the scenes, as well as what it was before. And for actual rides, Jurassic World is by far my favorite rain or shine.
We were there in April and LOVED it! I’d like a secrets revealed of the mummy, because I had to take my glasses off during the ride and didn’t see anything 😂
Thank you Chris! We were passholders years ago and have not been in years! I really enjoyed catching up with you! We will be down the end of June and so looking forward to seeing everything new:)
Thanks! Great video Chris! Universal Studios is such an amazing theme park and the last time I was there was before the pandemic. The Secret Life Of Pets ride looks really awesome and I can't wait to ride next time. I like that the queue system is part of the experience and there are hidden surprises. Thank you for making me feel like a movie star!!

Going sometime in November, this video really helped because I have not been there in yearssss. So nostalgic to see everything again, albeit not in person. Always helping me with my Disney and theme park fix, Thanks Chris!
Thank you Chris for your information for Universal Studios in Hollywood. I was just there yesterday & had a fabulous time. I tried to find that cyberdyne sign you showed, but I couldn't find it. But I did got press all of the doorbells in Despicable Me's neighborhood. I had a really fun time & at one point had to hold back tears from being so happy and having a flood of memories hit me. Thanks again. Today & tomorrow I'm back in Disney & DCA and I'm praying I might see you. We'll see.
i love Universal Studios Hollywood.. i had a pass for several years from like 95-98.. i was on Jurassic park when it first was out and rode the ET and Backdraft along with the studio tour that had the old King Kong and old backlot. Thanks Chris!
What a fun video!! I was actually a tour guide there for quite a while back in the day. It was the hardest audition process I’ve ever been through! I’m glad you finally saw the Waterworld Stunt Spectacular. The Animal Actors Show is another classic that originated there and has been duplicated all over the world. Thanks for bringing back so many wonderful memories!!!
A few years ago, I took my granddaughter who was 12 and grandson who was 10 on an adventure vacation to Universal Studios. After we arrived at the motel which was just down the street from Warner Brothers, I found out about the WB studios tour. We not only went to Universal for two days and rode rides, had pictures with the wonderful characters, saw the shows, but also visited downtown LA and had adventures. To this day, when you ask them what they enjoyed most, they DON'T say Universal. They immediately answer, "Warner Brothers!" They absolutely loved the tour there. And it didn't even have rides!
It's my first time watching Chris. He made it FUN and love his happiness over Universal Studios! Will continue to watch. I love his "What..." bring a smile over my face! Can't wait for Disneyland and California Adventure. Love that place🥰!
Loved the video! Love the theme park. We've done it 2-3 times and love the tram tour (saw a few active filming sites - Superstore was one of them), Hogwarts, Water world stunt show, just everything! And Butter Beer with Bangers and Mash at the Three Broomsticks! Thanks for the memories!
Loved this! Also, this is the 1st tram tour video from the last year that I've seen the TRAM go into Courthouse Square. It gives me hope that I might be able to see it without splurging for VIP.
Omg so happy you did a Universal Studios video I'm a newer universal passholder and I love it. I would love a secrets revealed food tour of Universal... But honestly any universal video you do will be amazing I will totally plan girl if I see you at the parks ever 🤣
Great tips! I went this past Friday and the tip of going to the lower lot first, saved us a lot of time. Got there a little after 9am. Went straight down, didn’t wait any time for Transformers or Jurassic. A little wait on Mummy. The longest wait was the Pets ride. We left that one to the very end and it broke down for a while. Thank you for the awesome tips!😊
Oh my god, Chris! Seeing you cut into that Lard Lad donut unlocked a memory!! My parents took me and 3 of my friends to Universal Studios Hollywood for my 14th birthday in 2011. Springfield wasn't fully developed yet so the pink donuts were on sale at Kwik-E-Mart instead of the Lard Lad stand, and my parents bought a giant pink donut instead of a cake. I don't remember there being seating nearby so we got some pizza at Citywalk at the end of the day and cut into the birthday donut the exact same way that you did.
Chris you’re so pure of heart it’s contagious! I love in your videos how you take time out and speak straight to us on how we matter. It comes from your heart and it’s so warming to hear. Your childish excitement makes me so happy. I love how you held onto that throughout your adulthood. Inadvertently you are showing all of us how to be kids again. Thank you!!!!
Thank you so much for these videos, I look forward to the day that I get to travel to these theme parks. But with your videos I can sit and experience it whenever I want! ♥️
I'm still a little over a year and a half out from my next Disney/Universal trip where I'll be taking my kid for the first time. So, until then, I'm living vicariously through your channel haha.
I’d love to see videos on city walk, family dining options (bigger meals), things for littler children, and some sort of food challenge (donut and Simpsons ride?)
I'm an annual pass holder here & I love going here. I don't so much visit during summer, fall & spring are so much fun & the weather is more forgiving. I love the new menu @ Five & Dime. I was there for the passholder takeover & ended up not eating there & trying the new offerings. Instead I ate at Three Broomsticks & tried a dish I haven't had before.
I like the layout for Springfield/Krustyland in Hollywood over Orlando! Looks like Lard Lad's donuts are good no matter what coast, and that's all that matters!
Chris, purple paisley tie, AwEsUMMME! Took my mom to see Secret Lives of Pets! Please more on that attraction. Yep! I'm a nerd & have Press Kits on both parks. Universal started in 1915 (older than Disney) They did sooo much for the industry. Monster movies & comedy are their bread butter. I'm old school so Abbott & Costello, Ma Pa Kettle made them a lot of $$$ California IS very hilly. If you haven't done San Francisco trolley, please consider as a video to Ghiriradelli Square. It IS an amazing park. Totally worth a 2 day or more visit. Love the red carpet. Disneyland does it in concrete.
