- So you’re planning a trip to Universal Studios Hollywood, but don’t know where to start? No worries, I’m here to help!
This itinerary will give you all the tips necessary to have the best day at Universal, especially since Super Nintendo World opened recently and is heavily visited. You’ll need an early access pass or a timed entry reservation as it’s pretty difficult to enter. Other parts of the park have long wait times, but this guide will help you get to each ride and around the whole park before it closes.

How many days are needed for Univeral Hollywood? We are a family of 3 who don’t care for any big coasters.
You can do everything in just 1 day!
Do you know if they actually check ids when you present your tickets? I won tickets and they have my husbands and my name, but he wont be able to go. I was planning on having my son use his ticket.
Every time I’ve gone they’ve never checked! They just scan your ticket and you should be good to go :)

Do you reccommend getting onto the mario cart ride first thing,?i have the early access pass and I will be going on a week-day with one other person. Is that pass valid all day?
They have an additional pass that lets you into the park 1 hour early, I believe it’s $10, and it’s probably your best bet for the Mario ride! Either going really late or really early is when you’ll be able to get in without waiting 2-3 hours :)
The early access pass for Mario is either $20 or $25 depending on the day - and the ONLY thing it gives you is an hour early admission into Super Nintendo World. After you leave, you can't get back in unless you sign up for a free virtual entry line for later in the day.
No mention of the Transformers ?
