In fact, in the laundry room, trying to figure out if Lari has already, or plan to look for a boyfriend. And when Lari thanks him for helping him to accept himself as a gay man, I think he starts to realize that Lari has become much better than he could ever hope to have. I think these two seeds, which Lari or the authors, for him, have sown in the minds of Elias, will be used to change his mind before or after the engagement. You're right. But Elias has always had an conflicted attitude with his father, every time he accuses him of not to accept his open homosexuality, even inappropriately. The father has always had problems with him, and certainly will, frankly, always his happiness, even if sometimes, as a father, he's wrong. He goes by too much severity, to too much indulgence towards the child. This is also because he too, has a troubled life of his own. For the engagement, it is obvious that he do not agree, and rightly so, given the too young age of Elias, but also, I think, because he thinks that Elias himself is not sure what he does. However, at this moment, he is stunned by the story of Isabella and probably is in the process condescending, not to have problems with her son. I think Miska intends to take this moment to propose the engagement. Or what is intended by the authors, that as the gods of Olympus, decide the lives of men. My fear is that the authors hasten things to gather Elias and Lari, before the summer break, and close the story. I, however, hope that in the fall, when the show starts, the story of the two boys continue with their united and, later, go ahead until their marriage, with the new law passed, at least for another two years. isapostolos Elias was adopted as an infant and I don't think he's ever lived with his dad until now as a teenager. That would have a lot to do with the way they interact with each other. So his dad would see him as still a kid, while Elias sees himself as far more independent than that...yet as most 17 year olds not really equipped for that level of independence. His dad is not homophobic. He may be awkward about some situations, but no homophobic dad would yell out at that reprogramming camp "there's NOTHING wrong with my son" if he didn't believe it. As for Miska asking permission, it has nothing to do with Elias's age. He's 17. He could wait it out and they can run off to another country where it's legal and get married. He's asking permission because that's the kind of guy he is. If you find someone like that please send him to NYC.
Elias keeps trying to convince himself he can make a relationship work with Miska.Elias got so defensive with Sebastian and just tries too hard saying I love Miska,he is the one I want to be with when I can see by the way he acts he still loves Lari.Not to say Elias doesn't love Miska but its not the same feelings he has for Lari.The longer Miska is with Elias he will figure that out also.
Come on writers this is ridiculous! Why would anyone so young want to get married?! I mean nobody is pregnant - is there any other somewhat valid reason for teen marriage? Only yesterday I was commenting how screen writers are doing pretty good job. And now this bizarre event. Oh well, I am still going to keep watching. There is something really addictive about Elias' sad face so I'm going to hang on until Lari brings back the smile.

This was a great and wonderful piece of something cool for once ;)
Its good to see that Lari has grown in his character and has accepted his sexuality but in a way I still feel like he has feelings for Elias. I hope that in a way Elias can make up his mind about who he really loves. Its just very confusing to see him becoming more and more involved with Miska but also harboring feelings for Lari in his heart.
I think Miska is a great guy, I just hope that they don't tarnish is character just as a plot device to get Elias and Lari back together. Please writers, Please don't turn Miska into a villain.
I don't think Miska is really aware of his feelings for Elias. He wants to make sure everything is perfect with Lari back in the picture and the one way to secure that is to marry Elias. They've been together for a short time and with trying to "win" Elias comes first into Miska's mind- not rushing things. Anyway, I hope Elias realizes that Lari is a new person soon and hopefully they'll get back together :)

But lari and Elias really love each other. Elias will be just settling if he ends up with Miska. Ok, this is just a soap but if you love someone you should be with them ( although I know this is not always possible). Glad lari and Elias will be getting back together soon and I am sorry for miska as he is a good guy but that doesn't make him the right guy (even though imo elias and miska there is no chemistry). I think Elias felt he's left behind, left behind by Lari WHY!?!, He gave up Lari thinking that nothing will change on him but now he sees Lari finally getting back on track; decent job, a good place to stay and accepted what really he is. I know Elias once dreamed about these things together with Lari but "NO" he's no longer beside him. And now realizing how much Lari means to him things get complicated to make decision. Elias don't be afraid to break someone's heart, its better to hurt them now than to hurt them forever... and BTW if your thinking a way to ditch Miska, I suggest use this proposal thingy, tell him your not prepared, break up with him and then run to Lari's arms Xd

the seconding thing i like about laris characters, is that any time he speaks to elias, elias always end up feeling quite; he end up pulling this sad face of he wish things could just change and everyone is happy all over again :) sad though . but i wish the tormenting could be even worst so e realise and make up with him ASAP .
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I am not feeling the chemistry between Elias and Miska. So many people keep telling Elias that he seems so much happier with Miska than he did with Lari, but I just am not feeling it. It feels forced. It doesn't feel raw and natural like the chemistry between Elias and Lari. I understand why they had to break up, but I can't wait until they get back together because nice as Miska is, I just don't like watching him and Elias. .
Is Mishka a minor? If not why would he want to marry one? Maybe something is getting lost in translation for me. How old are these characters supposed to be? A lot of teens want to get married when they fall in love. It's natural b/c they're impulsive & don't realize all the consequences of their actions at that age: remember Romeo & Juliet? He was 17 & she was only "a fort- night & odd days"' from 14. & we know how well that went! Miska is in love & it's sweet & realistic that he wants to propose. I really don't see Lari as that much of an alpha male, maybe when it comes to sport, but I think in lots of respects because of Elias just knowing who he is from such a young age, put him at an advantage over Lari in that. I think they are quite equals right now
I really don't get why everything elias is involved in has to be at such speed, what is with all the rush all the time. I know this is a soap but jeez! There was elias always telling lari to come out to his dad (which turned out to be a car crash) even though they had only been together for what...maybe a year at most, (even when his grandad died elias told lari to tell his dad)- imo I could wait till lari was 18 years so he could be more independent if his dad rejects him as lari told elias before they even got together that his dad would reject him and his 18 birthday wasn't that far away. Lari says he is going to canada for his hockey career then elias within a heartbeat is moving across the world to live with lari. Elias feels rejected by lari at the camp and jumps into bed with miska, the first guy to glance at him the same day! Him and miska tell each other they love each other after a few months, elias goes back to the camp and lari and elias sleep together but straight after elias is moving lari into katarina's place in his head. now miska's got the crazy bug! Lari seems to be the only one acting anywhere sensible anymore. Chill chill chill, enjoy life as teenagers.

isapostolos Elias was adopted as an infant and I don't think he's ever lived with his dad until now as a teenager. That would have a lot to do with the way they interact with each other. So his dad would see him as still a kid, while Elias sees himself as far more independent than that...yet as most 17 year olds not really equipped for that level of independence. His dad is not homophobic. He may be awkward about some situations, but no homophobic dad would yell out at that reprogramming camp "there's NOTHING wrong with my son" if he didn't believe it. As for Miska asking permission, it has nothing to do with Elias's age. He's 17. He could wait it out and they can run off to another country where it's legal and get married. He's asking permission because that's the kind of guy he is. If you find someone like that please send him to NYC.
Elias keeps trying to convince himself he can make a relationship work with Miska.Elias got so defensive with Sebastian and just tries too hard saying I love Miska,he is the one I want to be with when I can see by the way he acts he still loves Lari.Not to say Elias doesn't love Miska but its not the same feelings he has for Lari.The longer Miska is with Elias he will figure that out also.
Come on writers this is ridiculous! Why would anyone so young want to get married?! I mean nobody is pregnant - is there any other somewhat valid reason for teen marriage? Only yesterday I was commenting how screen writers are doing pretty good job. And now this bizarre event. Oh well, I am still going to keep watching. There is something really addictive about Elias' sad face so I'm going to hang on until Lari brings back the smile.

Its good to see that Lari has grown in his character and has accepted his sexuality but in a way I still feel like he has feelings for Elias. I hope that in a way Elias can make up his mind about who he really loves. Its just very confusing to see him becoming more and more involved with Miska but also harboring feelings for Lari in his heart.

I don't think Miska is really aware of his feelings for Elias. He wants to make sure everything is perfect with Lari back in the picture and the one way to secure that is to marry Elias. They've been together for a short time and with trying to "win" Elias comes first into Miska's mind- not rushing things. Anyway, I hope Elias realizes that Lari is a new person soon and hopefully they'll get back together :)

They can break them up for all kinds of reasons, other then to make Miska out to be the bad guy. Why cant they just let Miska discover Elias true feelings for Lari. I do think however, that Miska ought to fight for his man, stand his ground, and tell Lari to back off. I think, Elias would expect that, and that Miska is not the kinda of guy to roll over. Yeah, it would be natural for Miska to be angry and upset, to fight back, to manifest true jealousy, who wouldn't ? I know Lari will win Elias back, but I'm hoping that there will be a showdown between the two. Even though Lari will win Elias, but, as far as character is concerned, Miska will have proved to be the better Man. He's been nothing but a force for good to Elias. I see no reason to tarnish that.
I finally figured out who Miska reminds me of... Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII. When he came in, with that jacket on, it just hit me.
It's funny how everyone keeps saying how happy he looks with Miska and how he was unhappy with Lari, when he used to always be smiling (in between break ups and fights) but now constantly looks sad and confused, even when with Miska
It just kills me that Elias and Lari love each other so much, but can't seem to come together. I hope this whole proposal idea does not last too long or that Elias says no. Lari needs to go after his man!! I am so addicted to their story, LOL! :-)

But lari and Elias really love each other. Elias will be just settling if he ends up with Miska. Ok, this is just a soap but if you love someone you should be with them ( although I know this is not always possible). Glad lari and Elias will be getting back together soon and I am sorry for miska as he is a good guy but that doesn't make him the right guy (even though imo elias and miska there is no chemistry). Lari has learnt the hard way and now to elias "above all to thy own self be true"

Oh seriously, this is like Fisica o Quimica. So Miska will propose, Elias will say yes, and the day they get married Lari will show up as the one person to object during the wedding and Elias will take him back .... if it really comes this way, then I will really start doubting the authors' creativity ... though it'd be a nice happy ending.

They have a weird way of expressing happiness for each other they always talk about moving on when they see each other which means they not over each other. I think Elias felt he's left behind, left behind by Lari WHY!?!, He gave up Lari thinking that nothing will change on him but now he sees Lari finally getting back on track; decent job, a good place to stay and accepted what really he is. I know Elias once dreamed about these things together with Lari but "NO" he's no longer beside him. And now realizing how much Lari means to him things get complicated to make decision. the seconding thing i like about laris characters, is that any time he speaks to elias, elias always end up feeling quite; he end up pulling this sad face of he wish things could just change and everyone is happy all over again :) sad though . but i wish the tormenting could be even worst so e realise and make up with him ASAP .
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I am not feeling the chemistry between Elias and Miska. So many people keep telling Elias that he seems so much happier with Miska than he did with Lari, but I just am not feeling it. It feels forced. It doesn't feel raw and natural like the chemistry between Elias and Lari. I understand why they had to break up, but I can't wait until they get back together because nice as Miska is, I just don't like watching him and Elias. .
Is Mishka a minor? If not why would he want to marry one? Maybe something is getting lost in translation for me. How old are these characters supposed to be? Is early marriage something very common in Finland. They both seem kind of young to be thinking about marriage. Does the pizza shop pay that much to support them both since Elias doesn't work? Elias is clearly still in love with Lari. He's keeping lying to himself, Miska, his father, Lari and the whole planet about where his heart is. Miska is a nice guy but frankly this proposal is quite out of the blue considering they know each other for just a little while and Miska can't be so unaware about Elias and his real feelings. What's the hurry? is he acting out of the fear to lose Elias? i don't know but I know this is not going to end well for him. God, i am hating Elias, he never understood or support Lari's situation, he's always playing with everyone, as now with miska... I hope for once, that Elias start looking for Lari, instead of the other way round... During all Lari paid for his mistakes, but not Elias, in any single episode.

A lot of teens want to get married when they fall in love. It's natural b/c they're impulsive & don't realize all the consequences of their actions at that age: remember Romeo & Juliet? He was 17 & she was only "a fort- night & odd days"' from 14. & we know how well that went! Miska is in love & it's sweet & realistic that he wants to propose. But it's also gonna propel Elias back into Lari-ville is my guess lol I just don't want Miska to get hurt :(

I really don't see Lari as that much of an alpha male, maybe when it comes to sport, but I think in lots of respects because of Elias just knowing who he is from such a young age, put him at an advantage over Lari in that. I think they are quite equals right now

I really don't get why everything elias is involved in has to be at such speed, what is with all the rush all the time. I know this is a soap but jeez! There was elias always telling lari to come out to his dad (which turned out to be a car crash) even though they had only been together for what...maybe a year at most, (even when his grandad died elias told lari to tell his dad)- imo I could wait till lari was 18 years so he could be more independent if his dad rejects him as lari told elias before they even got together that his dad would reject him and his 18 birthday wasn't that far away. Lari says he is going to canada for his hockey career then elias within a heartbeat is moving across the world to live with lari. Elias feels rejected by lari at the camp and jumps into bed with miska, the first guy to glance at him the same day! Him and miska tell each other they love each other after a few months, elias goes back to the camp and lari and elias sleep together but straight after elias is moving lari into katarina's place in his head. now miska's got the crazy bug! Lari seems to be the only one acting anywhere sensible anymore. Chill chill chill, enjoy life as teenagers.
