I will comment in English since you are studying every morning. This morning I am studying Japanese. I think it is my hobby, too, since I have studied for 30 years. I think your way of showing new vocabulary I learned that very useful phrase. Your pleasure at being a dad and watching your flower blossom is very touching.

Thank you for your heartwarming comment, it is amazing that you have been studying Japanese for 30 years. There is an adage in Japanese that 継続は力なり, “continuity is power,” and if language study becomes a hobby, it will not be hard to continue. Let's keep up the good work!

Thank you for encouraging comments. Your Japanese statement doesn't sound creepy 😆 but it sounds more natural by writing as

@@takasugisenpaiI watch crayon shin-Chan a lot to practice my Japanese… it’s so cute and funny with a lot of good daily life vocabulary. And I’m very proud when I can catch the jokes 😂

I can see and hear the difference and it must be a great joy to you. I'm more surprised she takes a Metro to go to school even though I've seen and heard some Japanese kids do so. Is it because you don't have any school within a walking distance? Or did you choose that particular school for your kid even though it was far away?

Thank you so much for your comment. We put her into the private school so she has to take the subway. Those elementary school students who wear uniforms and on trains or buses are ones who go to private or national schools. Last week, Kae took the wrong subway home. Fortunately she carried the cellphone with her so she could reach us. It was still freaking though.
