The fact you put the good stuff at the beginning, because you know some folks are just looking for a quick tutorial, not 9 minutes and 15 seconds of "hey what's up guys it's ______ back with another ark tutorial! The changes occur because Genesis is nothing more than a giant, fully automated spaceship that moves in space with a predefined route that leads it to take a tour of the systems where in planetary orbit there are the asteroid fields that contain that particular type of resource. This is just a detail that does not change things but is only part of the Lore of the game. Thanks for the video it was invaluable.

My BF recently jumped on a PVE server to farm element dust, and I've been farting around on gen 2 on single player for almost a month now, and he was asking me questions about it, some i didn't know the answer to. So i knew about looking up and seeing what the planets looked like.. but i also had a suspicion that the loot crates also corresponded with the warp areas as well. So this definitely help him to figure out when to go out too space and farm for element. Thank you!

@@seeshellgaming6883 really good channel btw :) I recently stopped playing Gen 2, cuz i had a friend suggest we try to power level through all the ark official content/ascensions from scratch, in order, kinda "story mode". Something I've never actually done. So it'll be a little while before I get back to gen2 to use this chart, but it's a great chart :) sitting in a folder next to my deepsea/desert loot crate spawn maps hehe.
The question I've not seen anyone address is if you can get the same biome twice in a row or if the biomes are a set schedule (like biome 1 followed the next day by biome 2 etc.,).

There is one more thing I wanted though and that is are these drops in the order you have them as per day, or is it completely randomized? IE day 1 is blue and day 2 is orange and so on, or is it randomized like day one is purple but day 2 is red.
I don't think these drops are standardised.. The server I run gives slightly different resources from space. Only things that match are Red, Purple and White. The rest have been giving a slightly different combination of Resources. No mods and server settings haven't been changed. Blue has bee giving me Element dust OR Crystal, Green and Cyan have Both given me Crystal OR Sulphur (on VERY rare occasions) I have had Ambergris/mutagel nodes in same asteroid as sulphur , and Orange given me Oil or Black Pearls and very occasionally I have seen Obsidian. Having said that Keep doing what you do. LOVE the guides. When ever someone aske how to in Ark I send them to you and nooblets, telling them they won't find better guides anywhere else. :)
thank you for your support. the drops should be standardized. i noticed on the ark wiki that it had said that you get different resources for red and some other color. everytime i get blue it is always sulfur and a little bit of obsidian. not sure why it is not the same for you? Maybe console? that could always be a contributing factor

they are always random. you could get a red drop. then the next day a purple then the next day red again. but you will never have the same color back to back.
when it turns 1:00 a.m I think or its midnight. it is one of those two times. when you look up at the night sky you will see it start to spin as fast as it can. once it is done then you know that the rotation has ended.

The problem is the UA-cam algorithm. It heavily favors watch time. UA-cam does not seem to have the ability to measure how useful a video really is.

its a day cycle in game. once it reaches warp all resources despawn and generate new ones for the next day cycle.

yeah it was in the game. the devs took it out the first week. a lot of people were really mad. Then the devs put it back in again.

heck no. this is an unoffical server that we have set up as a pvp server. but i will never go back to official just because of time.
