I love that Nic thinks their laughing at the story not his telling of it and his mannerism’s/funny insanity if you will. He is so unique and it is genuine I love it!
He's such an underrated actor. People treat him like a meme or a joke but he gives his all on every project he works on. And he's influenced by and studied every type of acting throughout human history. He's also worked with some of the greatest directors to ever do it. Coen Brothers, Scorsese, Lynch, Herzog, Jonze, Coppola, De Palma, Schrader...and even in his worst movies he's always the most entertaining part.
Feel like it’s less that they’re interesting and more that most actors are boring. Once upon a time most actors/actresses were “characters” themselves - interesting and unique.
One of my fave interviews of David Letterman, love Nicolas Cage. Adore his outfit here, he is one of the greats of Hollywood and cinematic arts. And hilarious funny story about his two king cobras Sheba and Moby. His huge imagination, storytelling and kaleidoscope colourful vision and intellect are some of the few many extraordinary traits about him. And love that he got to see Al Pacino, another fave Italian hottie of mine listen to classical music. ❤ 🖤 🐍 😆❤️🔥🎥 📺 👑⚜️💎🏆
Striking comedy from a serious actor certainly catches you by surprise. Such a great 'punch-line' it can be repeated within minutes and get another huge laugh! 🐍😎
Nick Cage was actually a respected actor in the 90s and the first half of the 2000s, he did some great films. But then he started appearing in everything and anything, super corny cheesy stuff and his acting ability appeared to deteriorate. I think he had financial problems and was desperate for work, I don't know but... sort of sad how it all turned out. People still like him though, he's just not taken seriously.
If you trace back to the 1980s, you will see that Nicolas Cage is responsible for the Johnny Depp - Amber Heard dispute. Cage is the one who got Depp into Hollywood.
Lol, he’s just so eccentric and fun to watch. I love his vocal mannerisms and quirks, and I’m glad his career is back on track.
Mm
"...and what did the snake say to you, again?" = Comedy Genius

You failed to mention his best performance ever..."Vampire's Kiss".
How did you get into movies? He never name dropped once. He's awesome.
We need a Nicolas Cage, Christopher Walken, and Jeff Goldblum movie, please. The 3 more interesting people on the planet.
They aren't
and John Malkovich
And willem dafoe

This may be my all time favorite Nic Cage clip…
I also like the interview where the talks about doing mushrooms with his cat. 😆
That shirt is fire Nick
If Nick Cage and Christopher Walken did a movie together the universe would implode.
I love the part about him talking about his white snake.
God I love this man.
I love his voice

My first tattoo was the raising Arizona thrush bird. One of my favorite movies since I was 6. It's a live action Hemingway cartoon.
Seems like a normal day in the life of Nicholas Cage.
Like the Ramones or Vermont cheddar, Nicolas Cage is a National Treasure
He was also in National Treasure
He was close friends with Johnny Ramone until the rocker's death.
1:50 is the best part 😂
03:52 Not really when you're a Coppola. ;)
Got to love him 😂😂😂😂
Love the shirt ❤️

He isn’t crazy now, the dude was crazy already then )
Letterman was such a better interviewer then Leno.

It's been so long since I've seen FTARH that I forgot he was in it

To this day I still don't know if he meant HE screamed that at the snake or vice versa cause I'd believe either
I’m sure moby just heard that Nic Cage smooches good! He just wanted a kiss:)

I saw this guy on the news. Didn’t he steal the Declaration of Independence or something?
(This sarcasm at its finest if you couldn’t tell)
@@gabrielbrown6934 yes he did, and then he set it on fire.
I’ve said it before, but I’d love to have Nick Cage at my bonfire, for story time…
