Classic car - Ford Cortina Mk 3 / Mark 3 two-door / 2-door

Just LOOK at the condition of this fit-to-eat-a-meal-off 2-door Cortina Mk 3! One of only about a thousand left out of the original million or so that were manufactured.
Not only that, the owner (I didn't catch his name but he was kind enough to show me around it) has owned it FROM NEW, since he first put it on the road on 1 Aug 1972. I wondered whether it had been restored or kept in dehumidified storage all its life like April's Lancia in Epping, but apparently he had had it back-to-the-bare-metal restored in around 1990, following which it has only been taken out on dry days ever since.

I had 2door GT, in 73-77, 2 litre, in white , tan interior, loved it to bits, so roomy , fast, economical. I would go back to it again in a heartbeat. Beautiful design.

I have owned a lot of fords but never seen a two door cortina in the tc model .
