Hello, in this video we will build a small winter cabin in a snowy biome. Since we only use spruce wood, it also fits great in Taiga biomes!
This build has everything you need for a starter house.

I really enjoyed this cabin, it was cozy, easy, and adorable. My only issue was it seemed I couldn’t place anything on the trapdoors, which was odd. 10:53 this point was where I couldn’t seem to place anything on the doors:
Need to hold shift key when placing, Hope this helps

@@Owen-nu4qm i mean i dont really care. all im saying is if youre making a tutorial on building something its not difficult to count the blocks youre using. whenever i build something off of a tutorial i like collecting all the items 100% to the guide to not clog up my inventory with unnecessary leftovers and as a way to make sure i use every block i need. having no blocks left at the end of the build serves as a solid indication i did everything right. cant do that with a faulty list

Yeah this build needs 727 block sooo yeah it will take about 3-7h (depends haw close you are to the things ofc) to get all of them and the build will take i think 30minutes or 1h bc of survival

I crouched and jump at the same time. Crouching so I can place the lantern above and then jumping to get the right angle
I can't find warm oceans to get sea pickles I don't have all the materials just yet need red carpet, enderchest, brewing stand, candles and sea pickles which I can't find at all

Make sure the slabs are placed on the top half of a block. If they're on the bottom the items on top will float :)
