Joe Delaney of Behringer demonstrates the US600 Ultra Shifter / Harmonist pedal for electric guitar.
Joe's guitar in this video is a PM20 from Parker.

Love the tongue-in-cheek delivery. Also does what I want!
Thanks serial killer on guitar!
Hahahahahahhaaaa... remarkable! xD
As soon as I saw the picture of the pedal while he was talking all I could hear in my head from that moment on was him singing "it's not easy being green".
what sort of music would this pedal be useful for?
harmony guitar, when there's only one guitar
Rage against the Machine and Radiohead covers
music!
I have to stop watching because I have people over and I am embarrassing myself laughing. Just the right combination of comments, funny sounds, and seeing the excitement in his eyes over whatever he did last night mixed with whatever he smoked for breakfast bleed into false enthusiasm for this pedal ROFL!
I love seeing this guy for the comments XD
Damn he have some badass guitar.... What is that guitar?
Thanks for posting, I've been waiting to hear demos of this one since I first heard about them.
Cheap Pitch Shifters = FUN! haha. Plus, it actually sounds really good to me (No, I don't work for Behringer, their Ultra Octaver is crap to me! XD )
It's and PM20 Parker ... nice guitar.
Yeah they're actually pretty decent, though the one I've been using has a small but annoying lag in the signal when you turn it on.
His face at the end is hilarious XD
I love this dude, he's so cool
ok, a week later - you still enjoying it? i'm thinking of getting it myself...
Least inspiring demo ever
his voice is soothing and makes me want to buy things...
Why did you switch the distortion on at the very thing I wanted to hear. I just need to know what this thing sounds like to save me having to learn songs in a different key. All I want is straight pitch shift with a clean sound. Is it any good or not? Does anyone know of a video where someone has done this without distortion.
Stop being lazy and buy a damn capo
Just stop playing guitar then man lol
nice demo! Thnx!
I think i'm going to get this, cause the BOSS super shifter went up 20 dollars on amazon :s i can just hope this sounds as good as it :s
It's better. The Boss doesn't track well
The combination of the two highest rated comments along with the video made me crack up
Do someone know if I can plug in a mic instead of a guitar, or is it a pedal just for guitars?
I got one of those, but not the power supply, so I need to use batteries instead. where do I put em?
this shows all the features, but could someone post a video of the dive bomb/up feature while actually playing something? i want to know how it sounds
I really liked him in The Three Musketeers.
Can't find this pedal anymore.
Now you've pointed this out I've spent more time laughing than I have paying attention.
He appears to have an expression pedal for it so you can control the amounts of the sounds.
can you use it as a cheap substitute of the whammy pedal?
I love the amp behind him :P I only have a Marshall micro stack (0.5watt) that I use with my headphones. I would kill for a sound proof room!!!!!!
can this pedal do the effect in john petruccis misunderstood solo by dream theater?
his face when he's the bending at the end like he's being possessed by the pedal
is this the same funcion that the digitech whammy?
Dude! You could play Collective Soul songs with that!
I'd take a chainsaw to my face if I looked that much like Ashton Kutcher.
+excidedous Really? You got THAT out of this video? A guy's looks? Gee, gay much?
pekerhed101
No sorry, I won't go out with you. Maybe Ashton will though. And yeah, a lot of no talent bull shit on this vid, just like Ashton. Now go buy a Teen Beat mag and cry yourself to sleep.
excidedous Aww....bless your little gay heart. You need a hug? It's a video about a pedal...yet you're so obsessed with how the dude looks and his guitar skills? You wear your loneliness and self-loathing miserably on your sleeve. Tell me, do you always fail at life? ...or is it just a bad day for you? Loser.
pekerhed101
pffft -Skills.. lmfao
You sure are hung up on the gay thing. Sorry, I'm not wired that way. You'll have to check with someone else. Do you always get so bitch slapped when someone insults your hero? You're not a very good fucking troll. Does your mommy know you use her computer? You're a UA-cam Sheriff LOL! That's pathetic. Bla bla bla go take your nap bitch.
excidedous ...says the guy obsessed with Ashton Kutcher.
hey dose anyone know if i could make my guitar sound likes its in drop b with this pedal. also how would i do this?.
thanks.
Joe Satan .. he is seriously cool. I love Brehringer pedals. They are totally cheap and cheerful ... flimsy plastic construction, but for the money, amazing value.
cool eyebrows dude
Does anyone know if this one does increments that make you sound like you are just tuned a 1/2 or full step down? i.e...looking to not have to drop tune and back for gigs.
+Jeff L thats what the pitch shifter mode does. if your guitar is tuned to standard, and you use the pitch shifter mode it will automatically tune your guitar down 1/2 or full steps, and up 1/2 or full steps
Nice... Thx!
im getting one of those weird vibes from this dude...
cool pedal though, will probably buy one.
are there an effects for a pitch harmonics??
im just curious...
How does it do for the EVH detune effect he used on "poundcake"
I think he used a twelve string on that, but I think it should harmonize like a 12 also.
I mean for harmony...you have to use effects loop and play in proper key..then you have some badass neoclassical twin lead sounds..using +3 (and playing in the key you set...You can also play Thin Lizzy twin leads by yourself...I'm suprised more shredder don't use them ..they used to be very expensive back in the day..now they're pretty cheap but awesome
i already know about this harmonics.. and I can even do it..^^
im just curious because a local artist here on our country can figure it out with just a boss me50 and some analog distortion pedals
I just realized, someone could put his likeness on a bottle of Captain Morgan and he could be rolling in the Benjamins. I wanna look like this guy when I get older. lol
holy shit it's a Klingon.
Or a vampire from Buffy. Woah.
Weird pedal, though. Sounds fun.
But holy shit.
is this pedal any good for rage against the machine songs?
Are you able to detune semi-tones at a time?
this pedal is like the boss super shifter????????? help me!
This guy looks like one of the vampires from buffy. I'm buying one.
thanks 4 the answer dude
nice sonds and funny demo !
@Tomossj
I though it was the Taylor Solidbody Standard
I've never put a battery in mine, but I'm guessing you have to unscrew the whole bottom panel.
And the battery will last maybe 30min coz it's digital.
The bottom doesn't come off. You have to press these little buttons either side of the footswitch part. The battery is in the same place as a boss pedal but unlike the Boss, that top part actually comes off.
This pedal is actually so much more useful... Especially the effect used at the beginning and end of the video... this guy made it look really lame at certain points when really, it can be used in a similar way to a digitech whammy at a quarter of the cost
Can you Pitch/Octave Chords with this?
Yellow and white soundproofing looks familiar...
most pedal demos suck, but this one is so bad it's good
Hahaha 1:10 he looks like a naughty kid
Can it do dive bombs?
2:19!
i almost died!
hahahahaha
I played it backward and it sounded great : I even heard voices!!!
I have bought the Pedal for 50 Euro, and it is a great Pedal. Especially the Tremolo, great for experimenting.
But if you have to money it is better to buy a Boss Super Shifter.
He is same with Kev (on shameless)
I'd buy that for a dollar!
I can finally play the song lonely boy!
I LO.V.E. watching some of his facial expressions while he's playing... I really do... (I don't say that as if to make fun of *him*, but they're darned funny!)
Bow weeeooo weoo weeeo " heh heh" hilarious.
hahaha! 1:10 he looks like a naughty kid!
must have earned all of £50 for this advert lol
@Tomossj
it's a taylor I guess so.
@pinchimike yes it is it's the very cheap copy of it but it's still good
CC also translates guitar language
you unscrew the bottom of the pedal when its stood up
i will give u the V for Vendetta thing but he looks nothing like shaun morgan from seether lol and yeh it is a good copy lol
lol, great guitarface at 2:30
The comments on this video are hilarious!
HAHA THE LAST 10 SECONDS!!
@troubletoe thanks!
lol at 3:25 he was looking a bit lord of the underworldish.
I LO.V.E. watching some of his facial expressions... I really do... (I don't say that as if to make fun of *him*, but they're darned funny!)
Someone please take away this mans tweezers please. He's heading into Mr. Spock territory.
Is it just me or does this guy look like V(from V for Vendetta) and the singer from Seether? and, this is actually a good copy...
With this pedal, you won't need a bass guitarist anymore!
T_T you're right. thx man.
Wow, I didn't realise that my comment was so popular, I was kinda just repeating what other people were saying.
omg... i am so sad :(, i was plan to buy this pedal because i have no money, but after i see this video i will cancel that, problem that the pitch is not accurate, when play "A" then shift it 1 octave UP with this pedal what I heard is not "A"1-Octave-UP but it become more "G#"1-Octave-UP.
Thx :p it's one of my almost 40 nicknames xD :p
pitch slap
Turn CC on and hear what Joe really says at 1:30
@pinchimike yes it is
whoops!
this is good but the original is the digitech whammy for R.A.T.M
This guy took a huge Dab before he filmed this!
hahaha first thing i thought when i saw him also
i have one of this pedal good effect but wont last longer.its new and now its dead
Why not set the scale and show the harmony tracking? The only reason I am interested in the pedal was not tested! C'mon!
send it back
i wanna be that guy when i grow up lol
This guy is EVIL.
0:43 look at those eyes
i am not sure 'fun' has much to do with it, money is why he is there. but yea i see your point,
