Kamp Kenan sent me. I live in Northern New England and we actually have spotted salamanders here, I’ve found several over the years. Along with the Blandings turtle which is a threatened ( could be endangered) species. Happy to be a new subscriber.
I loved seeing the musk turtle and the baby soft shell. That little guy was so small but they will get pretty big. I am from and still live in Louisiana right outside of New Orleans. Even in the populated cities we have canals to help with street flooding that run parallel in the middle of two roadways. I am 37 years old but when I was little and into my early teens I would see soft shell turtles in the canals basking in the morning on the sides of the canals. I kid you not, some of them were as big as garbage can lids if not bigger. We don’t see them that big anymore in the canals. I did not know they can get that big but it was amazing to see. 🤙🏼🐢
That’s great, thanks for checking out my channel and subscribing! I’m uploading a video right now bringing the wood turtle to Fred’s place, hope you like it! 👍🏼👊🏼
Great video, yet again! Love the content, field herping is fun. All of those crepuscular organisms must be great to catch, however, what is the impact to the ecology? Nevertheless, nice video!
So dope. Loved seeing that softshell!!!! 🐢💪
Me too! It just randomly was swimming between my legs when I saw it
@@GregsTurtleHaven he picked you 🤣
Love the leaf "debris" on the treebranches. Shows how high the river has been.

Thanks for coming over and checking out the channel! I LOVE blandings turtles and I’m working on a habitat for my 3 this spring
@@GregsTurtleHaven They are so cool, look more like a tortoise 🐢 than a turtle. Amazing that they can survive winters in New England.
That soft shell turtle was adorable
Cutest ever
@@GregsTurtleHaven yep ❤️
Yesss love the soft shells 👊🏽
Me too!

Came and subbed from Kamp Kenan ❤️😁
“Cerunlce” huh, what a funny word
sick spotteds!!
It’s salamander season
Seems really late in the year for a hatch... Think they might have laid twice considering how warm it's been since last year's extremely mild winter?
Very surprised the nest is hatching out this late in the year with cold weather just around the corner
Yea, even though we are in the south and fall nests are common, usually it’s cool enough they overwinter in the nest and pop out around late march
Just saw your video with Kamp kenan and decided to check you out like K.K. ask so you got a new subscriber can't wait to see your videos.

Some of those crayfish were found out of the water?
Yes, crayfish will sometimes leave the water to forage and create flood tunnels
Hi Greg, your t-shirts are fab, where are they from?
