@@landenschaffer5614 Well i live in Florida so fishing is pretty decent in the winter and it doesn't get too cold. The only pond i can walk to is one in my neighborhood but it barely has any bass but i caught a 3-pounder out of it the other day, so 2021 is off to a great start for me.

For feeding your bass, you could also set up a 20 gallon strictly for holding minnows you catch at night. At ponds (obviously with a spotlight and long handled net.)
And there’s more content idea. I have two small pet bass in the same town as you, along with a sunfish hybrid.
Hey norm,I had a 55gal. Tank up til a few years back that I had a 14" rainbow,a 15" Largemouth1,a 18"channel cat,two 2lb plus bluegills and a15" crappie in for many years .they got along great and even grew a little over time,good luck with yours.
Josh better collect fish support. If you do a tank norm. Yes it can be alot of work. But very rewarding at the same time. I love watching my pet bass feed.

Just to help yal try n feed the fish but there's alot easier way to catch worms n stuff for the fish. I also have done this personally for bait. All you need is a outdoor extension chord, electrical tape, and a long screwdriver with a handle. Cut the female end of the extension chord and wrap the hot (black) wire around the screwdriver, you can either solder it or just tape the bare wire on there just to make a good connection and stick the screwdriver in the ground. Then plu it in, all the worms within like a foot in half radius will rise to the surface.
My very first tank had Sunfish in it because they are beautiful. And that got me started on Cichlids.
I've had 7 fish tanks at once and have spent thousands on fish. I sold it all when I moved to TN but I have had native fish before and honestly it's way better than buying fish. Planning to have a 125 gallon native tank soon

I would say go some where there is clear water where bluegills live with tiny bass and use a mini crank bait or gill jig for pet.

You could turn your 100 gallon aquarium into a vivarium which has soil sometimes a small water feature so basically you would make a miniature forest or jungle with a pond with a waterfall as the aerator/ recirculator . You could have small fish crabs crawfish or shrimp and even tadpoles for frogs and or toads in the water and then whatever small land animals you would like in the land I would say worms and crickets you know things you can fish with.

I used to have a beautiful fresh water tank. All of my fish i caught had a bass a speck even an oscar. Took plant from the lake for the tank itself. Even had a baby snapper. He was my favorite. I used to feed them the left over live bait from my fishing trips. And then hurricane irma happened and i had to let them all go

I catch 16 to 23 inch channel catfish on my two 36 INCH zebco dock demons with the factory 6 POUND LINE I had originally got them for trout and they work great for that but I have caught 2 different species of catfish four different kinds of trout and a number of chubs that I use to catch catfish and I have caught bass and Bluegill and a four and a half pound mirror carp I use them for basically anyting because those rods are fantastic for prolonging the fight

Me and my dad have a whole ecosystem we have large mouth bass smallmouth bass catfish sunfish rock Bass crayfish natural creek rocks snails and natural wood and spring water from a mountain it’s such an ecosystem we don’t have to clean the tank because everything does a part we also have one sucker fish he’s pretty big and he sticks out compared to the rest that’s the only fish in there that isn’t from the creek we feed them live minnows all the time

I caught a 4 lb basss on a dock demon
I had a bass in a 50 gal aquarium about 8 years ago I keep him for close to a year feeding him small fish from a pond close to my house a friend of mine who is a wildlife officer found out and told me it was against the law to own a large mouth bass without a permit which I couldn't afford so I had to release him. It was fun to have him in my home my grandchildren loved to feed him live minnows and crayfish if I could I would own one again.
I have a bass too but I recommend at least a 150
