A tip from a IRL Mtber ride the bottom of the berms you carry more speed you aren’t supposed to ride the middle or the top it’s only there to catch you if you miss the bottom and to give weight to support the berm
Marcus, 360 backflips are way easier than you think on straight jumps. It takes the same amount of time to do a 360 and backflip. (confusing ik) But just go for a 360 backflip and you should be good to go.

Brother, if you wanna miss a rock, dont look at it. Ur head is the heaviest bone in ur body. Where you look, you go. So look at the gaps in between the rocks. Pretend the obstacles you're avoiding aren't even there. That is me in my profile picture I'm in the local pro class where I live. I wanna make it clear I am NOT a professional. I just race in the pro class in my local circuit. I can definitely hold my own and throw whips like the pros, but trying to keep up with my boy Josh Hansen is totally and completely impossible. Nobody realizes how fast the pros actually are. It's not normal. At Glen Helen, Josh was averaging 37 mph. Hit 73 mph in the fast section before the jump lines. To average almost 40mph on a track that has 2nd gear corners is inhuman. 90% of people cant or won't even go 70 mph on the dirt in a car or on a dirt bike and my boy is doing it standing up in rutted ass sand with 4 foot deep whoops. Get this, he hasn't gotten a podium in 3 years. So hes not even the fastest guy by a long shot. He has the sickest style and a super down to earth dude but, hes no Eli Tomac. Anyway, use that little trick in everything. Snowboarding, skating, bmx, of course downhill, even driving your car. If theres something you dont wanna hit, simply pretend it's not there and for the love of god dont look at it. I like ur vids dude. I'm not a gamer at all but other than Forza this is the only game I own. You can scrub too you know that? JK but still, only guy I've ever seen hit the off camber right at hangtown in 4th gear. I'm lugging it in 3rd and I legitimately dont suck. The factory bike only goes so far. I have a 2020 yz450 with enzo suspension, pro circuit linkage, D1H triple clamps and the new fmf carbon mega bomb. You dont have to do anything internally to these bikes anymore. The ECU is so tunable. I've found my lap times get better turning the bike down a little. Like retarding timing and pulling fuel in 2nd and 3rd gear then give her all the pepper in 4th and 5th. I used to build my engine, crazy cams, power now valve, all the shit and wonder why I got such gnarly arm pump. Because ur dirt bike makes as much power as a '92 civic AJ ya dumb ass. My '03 yz450. That was the titanium 5 valve engine they were ridiculous, I still own it. I ride it in the dunes alone. It makes 81 wheel hp. 4 speed gearbox with 81 hp. Just click 3rd gear and go. You dont have to shift. Unless ur jumping over 200 then you wanna click 4th.

We built a mecca. I rented a front end loader for a month and went to town every day for 28 days. Everything is dug in like 5-15 feet so you cannot see the track unless ur riding it. Theres 4 tracks, one is more insane than the last. The crazy one we call BERZERKER, the smallest jump is 110 feet long. Its 4th and 5th gear the entire thing. Theres a triple triple section you can quad dub and the quad is 240 feet long. My homie Chris and I are the only dudes that jump it. Hansen wouldnt even do it but he wasn't feeling it the day he rode our spot. Plus he was riding my little brothers bike. Still did every jump and the triple triple is heavy af. Two 150 foot trips back to back. They're absolutely perfect but still. Flying 30 feet high 4th gear pinned is scary.
