Brought to you by the lead designer of Cold Waters, Sea Power lets you control NATO and Warsaw Pact forces in a modern naval conflict. Whether it's gunning it out with Boghammars in a surface duel, fighting off aerial attackers armed with long-range missiles, or hunting for enemy submarines with aircraft and surface ships, advanced weaponry and sensors are at your disposal. Can you successfully hide your forces while detecting and tracking theirs? It is up to you to play an advanced game of cat and mouse on the high seas, to seize the initiative and attack with the advantage of surprise on your side.
Just wanna say, I’ve been watching you for almost 4 years and every time a new video posts the cinematics get better and better. Keep up the great work!
Thank you!
@@Wolfpack345 To second what they said. There are some genuinely movie director worthy shots in this. You are getting very good at this.
I was about to say! I opened the video and my first thought was "Man, the open cinematic looks pretty good." And then that extremely well fitting music started and I was just like "DAMN!"
The entire crew of Saipan needs a change of pants after that missile attack holy cow.
Code brown!
Your scenarios are really showcasing this game - kudos!
Thank you! I'm trying my best to make things that are fun for Wolf to play, and for viewers to watch
Im loving the ship damage updates. The first few weeks we saw pristine ships with crewmen standing on the decks at the botom of the sea. Now we're getting 4:59 damage to ships. Maybe we will even get ships split in half, turret-less, etc...
Imagine them modelling missile magazines etc exploding, ships just splitting in two and huge chunks of debris flying off them
@@clayblaze1327 go further: imagine these debris being able to damages Helis, subs, ships, etc in case they hit too strong
And that fire truck on deck of Kiev racing in circles. :D
Enemy: Drops something in the water within the same timezone as one of Wolfpack's subs
Wolfpack: *'WHAT WAS THAT SOUND?!'*
"Caron is all by herself, weapons free, engage whatever you can"
All Karen's in shopping malls know the drill.
So many managers.......
🤣🤣🤣
I liked the crew near the aircraft near the fires on the carrier. "Oh, I see they've finally got the BBQ going. Let's chill here."
I thought I was having a stroke and youtube didn't recognize I watched this episode, but then I realized: holy moly, ANOTHER new wolfpack seapower episode! I'm spoiled!
Wolf, I hate to sound corny, but you're one of the reasons I started a youtube channel. I love your style of videos. I try my best, but mine dont come even come close to your videos. Keep up the awesome work man!
Not to sound corny myself, but to inspire is the greatest reward, and to be inspired is the greatest gift. I wish you success.
@gsigs those are some words I'm gonna remember. Thank you!
Thanks man! I'll check your videos out!
@Wolfpack345 that's very kind of you. Thank you!
I hope they add more late Cold War hardware. I'd love to see a campaign like your Cold Waters Taiwan Strait playthrough remastered with new surface warfare and air warfare toys.
I'm sure we will get this with mods at the least
You almost have to have set period ships since some ships received massive updates between entering service in the 1960s until finally retired in the 1990s.
1965 Leahy vs 1992 Leahy
1970s Spruance vs 1992 Spruance with VLS.
Im not as aware of how Soviet ships changed with updates but I wouldnt be surprised there were many.
Me too, on the Soviet side it would be incredible to have the Akulas, Sierra I and II, Oscar II (which are the majority of the Oscars), Kalinin, Grisha V and Tarantuls III, (in a way even the Neustrashimy if it is acceptable to stretch a bit) and I think it's very possible that we'll have them, we already have ingame the Ustinov commissioned in 86, Chervona Ukraina from 89, and the Udaloy with the sa-n-9 configuration from 89. :D
@@Wolfpack345the NATO mod already adds VLS and other toys. Once we have some extra blue and red models then we can have a modern Taiwan campaign.
I want them to add more early cold war stuff like the essex class and the Albany
And here I thought defensive ECM was just there to make you feel slightly better about yourself.
But those Spruance class DDs, as nice ships to have, really don't have the adequate air defense to be comfortably operating alone. Interesting that this force doesn't have any CGs to provide AAW.
The defensive ECM can really do wonders I have found. I am suprised how successful it was though here with the Kitchens.
@@Wolfpack345I honestly forgot that the ship mounted Defensive ECM existed lol. I was like- “ECM? Where’re the EA-6’s?” Lol
Great work as always. These cinematic scenarios are very enjoyable to watch. Not just with Sea Power, but with all your other game uploads. It makes the video far more immersive for us viewers. Although I have been a subscriber for a while, it dawned on me that I never considered you might be former (or current) military until I watched part 1 of this episode. You referred to the two Spruance Class Destroyers as "a couple of Sprucans." I have never heard anyone outside the Navy use that reference.
The option I've always wanted for games like this is to give orders to a unit to engage for weapons to arrive at time x. Consider the impact of three subs firing Harpoons to arrive at the same time- a formation would be overwhelmed and unable to effectively defend itself.
you'd think this wouldn't be that hard to program into the game - but at the moment in Sea Power you cant even give effective or reliable orders to a formation just to move around.
Really enjoyed this campaign, the back-and-forth, the desperate defenses...also, torpedoes being launched from 1500ft is freaking terrifying, but apparently realistic after reading up on the Mk.48 torpedo. Death from the depths.
Very much enjoyed that, was nervous about an enemy sub appearing the whole way through. Really good mix of sub and surface attack, combined with the air attack in part 1 makes it even better! Loving this content, and the longer form videos too.
This mission has a Soviet submarine but he never showed himself. The sea state is the likely factor.
Man that sub command music in the intro is quite the nostalgia throwback. Love that game.
Anybody notice at 27:19 a big piece of debris is launched from the explosion and makes a splash in the water?! That's such a cool detail! I actually thought they launched a torpedo for a second. 🤣
i think that was a noise maker
Jack's not going to be happy about that! 😅
I love your 4k quality and editing and cinematics.best videos hands down. Thanks again for great content
I really like your work. Your editing is always quality and the way you give a little bit of history and talk about different weapon systems is just awesome.
Sidewinder - max range 2miles, no more.
Soviet ships & missiles were sexy beasts - man, the sight of Tu-22 slinging Kitchens made me think that the USN might have lost a few ships before defeating Ivan - good guys always win!
Love your content and how much knowledge you have in the sim and just your SA. I’m another Devil dog giving your flowers and will continue to support your endeavors!
Fantastic videos on the Attu Island battle! I thought the Saipan and friends were cooked when the Backfires showed up. Also, I really appreciate the Cobras getting in on the action (mainly the first video).
It is always a warm fuzzy feeling when the good guys win!!!
Great job, looking forward to the next one.
Happy late Thanksgiving!!!!
that loitering Tu-95 is probably acting as a target designator and guiding the SS-N-12s onto target
Red side having a bad and costly day, off. Nice one Wolfpack!
Excellent episode! Lots of action. Great strategy.
Amazing how you manage all of the different assets.
Modern naval engagement is a whole new level of boredom and terror. So glad we don't have to do this IRL.
Wow, this is so much more engaging, in a way, than all the other series! That doesn't mean I don't enjoy SH, CW, WotS. It's just that there is always so much going on at the same time what makes this game feel much more hectic and fast-paced.
Great video as usual. As fleet commander you seemed to have so much to handle all at once; was wondering; in reality how much of these decisions would be delegated to the commander in each ship/group?
Thanks for another great episode Wolfpack345!!!!!
Absolutely criminal of CINCPAC to not send a Tico or a CVN.
In the very first part of this Alaskan campaign, there was a Belknap CG, but I think it turned for home with the BB-63 SAG
In the past videos people thought the missions were too easy for Wolfpack. Had to give him a challenge somehow because anything hyper realistic US navy is just going to be a relative cakewalk
That was really awesome!!! A lot going on in that one
Great work as always mate . Keep up the great shows 👍
Loving all the videos Wolf and look forward to every upload
Can't wait to see if they are able to make actual Marine landing craft, with infantry and tanks!
Absolutely love this content. Keep it up dude!
Great video! Thanks and good work admiral.
Not sure how this game is wired yet but in the Epic Mod for Cold Water having the towed array out reduced speed and caused damage to the towed array sustem.
If thats not part of Sea Power yet it could be added later.
Might be a good idea for all players to get used to bringing it in before hitting the "Full Speed Ahead" button?
Both episodes were great! That missile attack in the one was definitely a "Code Brown" experience!
This game should have multiplayer, at least for two players. I remember Dangerous Waters missions with friends, I loved seahawk, but playing on one sub with other player was also nice🙂 Here is potential for big battles and duels 1 vs 1 in subs or sub vs dd
Good job Wolfpack, love your videos!
Great fun, love to watch it pan out.
Thanks for these. Very enjoyable
Those towed sonar arrays are going to be the death of your fleet if you don't figure them out. Excellent work, though.
The second Battle of Attu. Awesome.
Great job as always. Interesting that whoever made this scenario split the US surface groups. Those ships combined would have supported each other better against those attacks.
Wow! That was great!
Great stuff, as always.
Another absolutely fantastic video
Wolfpack forgot the u boat 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Fantastic video!
Vampire! Vampire! Vampire! Get the Garlic!
I wanna see the Ticonderoga!
And the timeframe should cover the Arleigh Burke as well!
Great one wolf nice sinkings
Thanks 👍
Great video, great battle.
That was a pretty well judged Time on Target with the Harpoons
I really wish, especially the lighter ships, would being pushed a little bit upwards a bit by torpedo hits. Also, Silent Hunter III had breaking ships 20 years ago. I know it would be more work to model that so I how such a thing is supported by the engine so it can be modded in
the game is doing that, Same to me. Tehy reported multiple submerse contacts, but was just the noisemakers
I'm a simple man... I see a Wolfpack345 video... I watch and like the Wolfpack345 video
Thanks Mr. Original! For the lame, and played out comment.
@@Tamburello_1994 @Tamburello_1994 You are welcome Tamburello_1994 :) My fellow Williams fan ;) Hope you liked Wolfpack345's video and subscribed!

@@ozverti6886 😏 Hitting in the weak spot...Ok. fine.
F1 fans are not simple!
@@Tamburello_1994 ;) haha I'm still in pain from this last race
Nail biting stuff !!!
This vid shows how powerful submarines are. Sank two whole surface fleets with 3 subs.
Seems like a great game apart from the air to air aspect. No aim9xis hitting anything at that range!! Fuel or not. Sidewinders are like 3miles max! Sure they might have a max range of 9 miles but that doesn't mean they'll have the energy to hit anything.
when it comes to these awesome sim games u are by far my favourite youtuber! Keep up the good work please. Would love to see you dive into X4 FOundation if u like space sim.
You've created a lot of new reefs for the fishes...
U do better cinematics then Michael Bay
Great series
Great Work!
Nice battle. 👍
wow the cwis kinda just gave up after like a 1/4 second burst from the charon huh, hope they'll just lay into vampires with everything at some point.
This game is so pretty. It’s almost not fair.
Nice to see the AI was definitely trying to fight back. They did try ASW but it clearly wasn’t enough. It would be good to know if they didn’t have time to follow up on the missile strike against the Saipan or if there was AI issues.
Your engagement range for those Sidewinders shouldn’t be more than a mile if you really want to hit something!
Very exciting.
criminally good
Will there be a part three in which we would see the landing of the Marines on the Attu?
excellent video
You need to show the missiles coming from the subs from above the water more
Amazing vid as always, can we get the steam workshop links?
In reality USN battle groups operated near Aleutian Islands would've been augmented by Secretary-class USCG cutters.
when your subs make contact with a noisemaker they will sometimes call it a submarine, it's nothing to worry about
I was wondering if the sonarman was having a giggle at the sinking escorts. Just "Hey boss, got a new submarine if ya know what I mean"
If it was me playing, I would not have engaged the ground targets as you did in the 1st ARTU Island video until the subs were in range of the Soviet task forces and had launched there torpedoes. I think you ship and aircraft losses would have been fewer had you taken the Soviet task forces out 1st with the subs. I am not an expert in combined arms warfare, just a casual observer of the gameplay.
is there a replay feature in the game to have the scenario re-play everything that happened so you can focus on making vids?
excellent followup
Thank you!
Were the Cobras using the best approach? Seems like helicopters should be using the hills for cover until they're in range to attack.
Nice job
Yeah, those X-22s are indeed only good for hitting malls and apartment buildings.
Best mission so far. Might be an unpopular opinion.
I really wish you would add something to the title or group these videos together in order, cause it seems that this video is a follow on from another but it can be hard to find the other videos sometimes. Like i assume this is a follow on from the other attu island video, but is that video also a follow on too, cause you mention dutch habour in the intro but that was maybe 2 videos before the first attu island video, also is the sino video a follow on from another one? Like if i watch the videos in playlist order its confusing as hell i seem to be jumping all over the shop in the timeline.
Well done....a bit of a pucker factor for a short time but otherwise good job 8)
Whoever that Soviet admiral is, I’m sure he’s worried about being sent to the gulag. The Soviets would not have accepted such massive losses at sea without blaming someone.
Man... Sub Command music makes me feel so old 😅
Good Show
I gotta wonder what the Soviet captains think when they see 3 USN Subs send missiles and torps at them, they won't be needing new pants for sire now
So the Styx missile instakilled one Spruance, but the sandbox doesn’t?
Surrrrrre
aim9l max range is close to 5km its more of a dogfight missile
-sorry for bad english-
Which ship had ECM during that air launched AShM missile strike?
the power of submarine
Just started playing sea power and war on the sea after watching your videos, what would everyone recommend as a good start mission for sea power so people can get a handle on the game early?
A little late lol but I just got the game and the Dong Hoi(?) coastal attack for nato helped me kind of get the hang of it, you’ve get to see a little bit of everything in a relatively controlled environment
How realistic is a single IR missule taking down a strategic bomber? In WW2 significantly smaller planes than that routinely took multiple 88 shells and kept flying. The infamous airliner shootdowns also tend to have been with the much more massive SAMs, or interceptor missiles.
No ww2 plane could take a full 88 and tank it. Consider that roughly they packed the same punch as a sidewinder if I’m not mistaken.
@@shokkk-i2i There's stories of dozens of B24s WIth meter wide holes blown in the fuselage by FLAK flying home. The only was tot ake one of those down in a single hit was to break a main wingspar close to the root, or blow up the pilot cabin.
Do you have this mission for download on the steam workshop?
