I’ve honestly been thinking of rewatching Space Dandy lately. I guess this is a sign to actually go ahead and do it. And I really think you should watch it too. Even if it’s on your own time. I watched it on Toonami when it came out, but I was kind of young at the time and honestly mostly watched it because of the fan service. But now that I’m a bit more “mature”, I can probably appreciate it more for what it is🤔🙂↕️
I love space dandy. If I remember correctly, the English dub actually was made before the Japanese one. Also the toonami ED is better than the regular one.

Damn, I almost forgot about Space Dandy. It's been on my watch list for the longest time but I never got to it. All they needed to tell me is that it's pretty much OPM S1 in terms of animators. Like, legitimately. IIRC the team who animated OPM S1 was straight up pulled out of the team that was working on Space Dandy (Yutaka Nakamura, Bahi JD, you know it). Give me top-notch animation and I'm gonna watch it. Even if the story is nothing to write home about. This looks like a fun episodic show tho with some good vibes.
Also, not sure why he was showing KonoSuba when talking smack about limp isekai protagonists. My boi Kazuma is one of the good (funny) ones. He was dealt a bad hand going into isekai but is somehow making it.
It's no wonder no one in Nick's chat knows or reccommends Space Dandy. Bros only watch the most mainline shonen shit.
I love One Piece, but Space Dandy actually makes it as one of my favourite anime of all time. Both season 1 and 2 despite each episode being "episodic" which is often the complete opposite of what I prefer, I couldn't help but wish for a season 3 at the end of it. There's no other show like Space Dandy and I can only hope that more people appreciate it's artistry in the future.
