Hurricane Beryl is no Harvey but the worry is it may be an Alicia

  • Dan Riley, with the National Weather Service, discusses Hurricane Beryl with Senior Digital Content Producer, Brittany Taylor.
    The concern has been expressed that because Beryl may hit near Rockport, Texas that it would stall and create catastrophic like Harvey did in 2017.
    While Beryl may hit near Rockport, that would be the only similarity.

    Native Californian here...I rode out hurricane Alicia in a mobile home in Baytown, Texas. While I watched most of the park leaving with as much as they could strap on top of their vehicles, I asked "are we leaving? To which my roommates chuckled and said "No, we're gonna' have a hurricane party" [insert wink here]. Let me just say...don't do that. Brownwood subdivision where a relative lived was completely submerged. I hope that Beryl isn't Alicia's cousin.

    Looks like these 2 peoples name could be alicia and harvey😂😂 I'm more scared of an alicia
