Since you appreciated Aafje Heynis singing this song I think you would also like her rendition of "Dank sei dir, Herr" (Thanks Be To Thee) which has been attributed to Handel. Your comparison of her with Kathleen Ferrier is most apt.

I think her tonal range is bigger than Ferrier's.

Charming characteristic voice, but too much vibrato for my year 2024 taste. 😉 Reminds me somewhat of Kathleen Ferrier.
