Fabulous job, Sheri!!! Dream come true! And thanks to everyone who indirectly helped Sheri accomplish her goals! My Husband completed 24 sessions of physical therapy & the pros used a similar deep tissue massager with a $159+ cost. I subscribe to Bob & Brad's UT & their massager is a steal.....well worth the purchase. In the 1950's my Parents constructed a huge backyard cement patio....they threw old furniture into the squared pit & covered it with cement. 25+ yrs later it was still the best patio ever & no cracks!
@PatB415 - Thank you! This build...while not difficult, sure did take a lot out of me and I am so glad it is finally done. I love it so much! I love the story of your parents patio...thank you for sharing it with me. I'm sure they didn't have an "operation cleanup" at the time and had no other choice but to throw their old furniture into a pit to get rid of it. I think it's safe to say, your parents were the first "Tim Gunn Make it Work" people on the planet. :)
Ah….mazing!!!!! Loved the REAL life beginning of the video. Yes, we sometimes just don’t feel like doing anything! 😅 Love Bob and Brad and pray for Bob's health🙏🏻
@HappyLife-wv5ms - Just being honest...this makeover is taking it's toll on me. I know in the end all of my hard work will be totally worth it, but right now...I really can't wait for it to be done.
I am happy you can break a bit, ( stop the wood runs) massage your muscles and relax, enjoy that beautiful deck. Love the stairs, done well. Agree, Editer John is an awesome video/handyman helper!!!❤ (noticed your new visiting feline. 😊) sugar bugar is a wonderful supporter! This video is a great perserverance inspiration. Take care Sheri.
@chiagirlmyfatcat896 - I will tell you...that little massager couldn't have come at a better time. Working in the backyard over these last 4 weeks has really taken a toll on my body...I've never felt so old in my entire life. :) So happy to have Editor John as my helper...it would truly suck if I had to do every single thing all by myself.
Holy Shitt, Sheri! Please take a few days off and recharge! You’ve been at it hard for weeks. Your project is coming along beautifully! It’s going to suck if you get hurt.
@aries5433 - I did take a few week nights off to just chill on the couch, but I was in a hurry to get as much done as possible. It's really heating up around here and I know I won't be about to do anything out side once it hits none stop triple digits. And don't worry...I'm being careful. I promise, I won't get hurt. :)
@tammychildofgod277 - I know right?! The blue bottom is my favorite! That stock tank pool looks so good right now. Way better than when I first did it in all of the light blue. Kinda glad I was a bad stock tank pool owner for the last two years, otherwise I would have never had to re-do it and we would have never know how amazing the two-tone color would look. :)
I've just spent my afternoon catching up by binge watching the backyard makeover and I am IMPRESSED! So cool it looks amazing you and editor john have really out done yourselves you've got me feeling inspired 🤩🤩
@@ThisisRealLifeWithSheri well ! My husband and I are going to be attempting to build a low deck out of recycled wood all going to plan I will deck it out with tropical plants bright colored chairs and a wee chiminea for us and the kids to enjoy wish us luck we have no idea what we are doing 😂🤣
@nzrcks - OMG! I love that. I was totally planning on doing a pallet wood deck instead of the paver patios...remember? I can't wait to see how your deck turns out. It sounds like you've got it perfectly planned...I know it's going to be amazing! Be sure to email me photos as soon as you have it done!
@annthompson6389 - Thank you so much. And yes...love that massage gun. I keep it on the end table next to the couch and every time I come inside for a break I pull it out and give my thighs a nice little hammering :)
❤ The Deck looks amazing 🤩 so happy you shared the journey, the highs and lows… This Is Real Life.. for sure! Massage gun seems like a great add to your self care collection.
Much respect Sheri. That was a fairly serious project for one person to take on. The massager looks good, but my flexibility is bad so it wouldn't do well for me. Another channel also reviewed the massager 'The Determined Runner', but I didn't watch that video. Relax and take some time off girl
@enjaygaltee252 - I love it! But...now that I'm about ready to wrap my yard up, it's time for you to get back invested in yours :) Hopefully I have provided you with a little inspiration...even if that inspiration is simply going out and watering a few plants :)
@jillpotts7472 - I put in so much time and money into this project...I want it to look good. It doesn't have to be perfect...and believe me, it isn't. :)
@katrinalucas9823 - Oh believe me...I contemplated doing that, but the piece of wood I would need to get would have to be pretty wide in order to accommodate the rise and run of each step. And I figured a piece of wood that big would probably cost me more than the stringer.
You can definitely pat yourself on the back. You've done so much, no wonder your tired. I couldn't even begin to tackle that yard. Love the blue, looks great. And I hate, and detest, freakin math problems. You can be proud🌹💓💖
@janfontana2530 - I am super glad I have him as well...don't know how I would have pulled this off on my own. And yes...you can totally borrow him. I'll put together a calendar for us so we don't double book him :)
@janfontana2530 - I thought about that...great minds, I tell you. But for now, I am just happy to have the deck done. Maybe when the weather cools down a bit, I'll go back a stain those. I do have left over stain...so it wouldn't cost me any more.
@andreakarlsson7927 - Awww...thank you. But you don't have to be jealous...you can totally do everything I'm doing. It really doesn't take that much skill...you just have to be willing to hunker down and get it done. I promise...you can do it! Also...love this emoji 🦩
Pool/deck=perfection!
@Linda-n - Agreed! :) It's exactly what I had pictured when I first installed that stock tank pool two years ago.
Incredible! You are a Wonder Woman. Seriously so cute. Amazing progress I can’t wait to see the rest of the backyard transformation!❤
@terrycampanaro3469 - Thank you. However, I do think calling me a Wonder Woman is a bit of a stretch. Anyone can do what I'm doing...I promise. ❤
The deck looks great! 😀
@rachelr621 - Thank you!
The deck looks amazing. The pool looks so inviting. Guess I'm coming over.
@dawnwandra9086 - Come on over anytime! I have half days on Friday's and am usually home from work by noon :)
