Angel Gabriel then goes on to give Maryam the glad tidings of a newborn child.
He said, “I am only the messenger of your Lord to give you [news of] a pure boy.” Quran 19:19 [And mention] when the angels said, “O Mary, indeed God gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to God ]. Quran 3:45 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. Luke 1:31
This news, of course, came as a complete shock to Maryam who was a pure virgin and had never been approached by a man. She immediately exclaims in shock, “My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?”.
She said, “How can I have a boy while no man has touched me and I have not been unchaste?” Quran 19:20 She said, “My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?” Quran 3:47 “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” Luke 1:34 Angel Gabriel then responds to Maryam’s question with a very succinct yet powerful statement; God merely says “Be” and the matter will be. [The angel] said, “Such is God ; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is. Quran 3:47 He said, “Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, ‘It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign to the people and a mercy from Us. And it is a matter [already] decreed.’ “ Quran 19:21
Gabriel then proceeds to blow a breath into the sleeve of Maryam which causes her to become pregnant instantaneously. According to Ibn Kathir, one of the great Quranic commentators, this pregnancy was to last 9 months long as per ordinary.
And [the example of] Mary, the daughter of ‘Imran, who guarded her chastity, so We blew into [her garment] through Our angel, and she believed in the words of her Lord and His scriptures and was of the devoutly obedient.

As symptoms of her pregnancy soon came to fruition, suspicions by those around her soon began to develop. A famous incident also found in the commentary of Ibn Kathir describes her encounter with Yusuf Al-Najjar or Joseph the Carpenter. He asks Maryam, “I am going to ask you a question, do not be quick in replying. Could there be a plant or tree without a seed or a son without a father?” She replied, “Yes! The first plant and tree which God created was without a seed. The answer to the second question is that God created Adam, not only without father, but without father and mother.” Yusuf the carpenter understood that this birth would be similar to Adam’s birth and a divine miracle.” It is at this point, that Maryam realises the potential emotional and physical toll such suspicions will weigh upon her pregnancy so she decides to move to Bethlehem some four to six miles from Jerusalem.
“So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a remote place.” Quran 19:22
Following her retreat to Bethlehem, Maryam continues on to bear Jesus in hardship and difficulty. This is until her labor pains drive her to the trunk of a palm tree, whereby she falls to its base and cries out in agony. It is in this moment of immense pain that a voice calls out from beneath her informing her that she should not be sad for her Lord has brought forth a stream from underneath her. The voice also calls upon her to gently shake the palm tree to which ripened dates will fall. Whether or not this voice is that of Gabriel or Jesus is a point of contention amongst the scholars. Nevertheless this is perhaps one of the first miracles to take place at the moment of Jesus’ birth. It is also reported that when Jesus is born he did not cry or scream as babies usually do. This is recorded in Sahih Muslim whereby the Prophet ﷺ states:
“No child is given birth to, but the devil pricks it so that it weeps due to the pricking of the devil, except Maryam and her son.”
After having delivered the baby and rested a short while, Maryam is then commanded to an oath of silence in the face of anyone who asks her concerning this matter. As she makes her way home carrying her child, the townspeople are immediately taken by surprise. They quickly subject her to suspicion and questioning, shocked at the uncanny scene they see before them. Having vowed an oath of silence, she remains quiet and rather signals towards the child. Astounded and baffled by her response, the people exclaim “How can we speak to a child in the cradle?”. It is at this moment that Jesus leaves the townspeople lost for words, as he miraculously speaks from the cradle in defence of his mother. He informs the people that he is a servant of God who has received the Gospel and was made a Prophet. He enlightens them of his noble rank and the blessings that God had bestowed upon him. And of course he spoke of his obligation towards worshipping God alone without any partners.

We know Muhammad SAW through Islamic history, that is on different books of Islam but not in Qur'an. We have another book called Hadith that is the saying of prophet Muhammad SAW.

@@kamekameha721 we have scholars who dedicate their whole life in that research, not everyone can tell whether a certain Hadith is daeef or hasssan, and they are Imams also. Everyone is in his own field of study you cannot ask a tailor who knows only tailoring about various topics of Islam. Go to a scholar of Islam.

Any way, 1- The birthday of prophet Mohammed pnuh is not in Quran , but is found is the prophetic biography ( Sirah Nabawiya , the biography of prophet Mahammed) 2- His parent died when he was a baby . 3 - Halima As Saadiya was a woman who nursed him after the death of his mother. ... You can refer to ( Sirah Nabawiya ) for more details . 4 -this staement ( the father is a person , the son is the person , the holy ghost is the person ) is said by Christians. These are not Deedat's words. 5- Unfortunately , people regard a male child more than a female one , some ignorant hubands divorce their wives for that.. A woman isn't the gender creator, they forget about Allah who creats what he wishes !!!!!

You have to read the Sirah Nabawi (prophetic biography, are the traditional Muslim biographies of Muhammad) to know about Prophet Muhammad SAW, mostly it derived from the saying of Muhammad SAW narrated by the Sahabah.

Sura 19:27-28 And Sura 66:12 is telling of different generations and their relationship. What exactly is Qur'an telling us. Who is Mary and who is Miriam? Did Mary mother of Jesus have a brother called Aaron? Which is the Authentic Source. Sura 10:94

@herimornchriston6087 Earlier days before Islam, men used to marry as much as they want., same had 100 wives, others 20 wives; but after prophet Mohammed PBUH received revelation, people asking him about marriage, then a whole chapter taking about women and their rights to men; and divorce was revealed . No man that can marry more than four wives . It not must marrying four wives in Islam, and Allah said one wife is better for them. It's sunnah, not compulsory.

She was there for him to marry as she grew, and Some scholars said she was 10 and more, and some said 9, what so ever , people at that time, they were stronger than us. The history of Muhammad in his history books and not in the Quran because it is NOT a history book but purely the word of God.

1. Jesus was born of a virgin (Qur'an 19:20-22) and Mary her mother is an honored woman but christians claimed Mary married Joseph but had something with God to conceive Jesus

6. Jesus is a Witness against those worshipping him on the Day of Resurrection (Qur'an 5:117) as he said in Matthew 7:21-23
7. Jesus created and gave life with God's power and permission (Qur'an 3:49). John 5:30
8. Jesus is the Messiah deby by God only to the children of Israel (Qur'an 4:171)
9. Jesus is the Word of God (Kalamul Allah) (Qur'an 4:171) meaning the command or word of God "Be" and he was conceived without any male intervention.
10. Jesus was taken to heaven by God (Qur'an 4:158) and he will come back to warn all those worshipping him.
11. Jesus will come back again (Qur'an 3:45; 43:61) and will destroy the cross, warn the christians worshipping him.
Islam is the only non-Christian faith, which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus (pbuh). No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh).
We believe that he was one of the mightiest Messengers of Allah (SWT).
We believe that he was born miraculously without any male intervention, which many modern day Christians do not believe.
We believe that He gave life to the dead with God's permission.
We believe that He healed those born blind, and the lepers with God's permission.
One may ask, if both Muslims and Christians love and respect Jesus (pbuh), where exactly is the parting of ways? The major difference between Islam and Christianity is the Christians' insistence on the supposed divinity of Christ. A study of the Christian scriptures reveals that Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity. In fact there is not a single unequivocal statement in the entire Bible where Jesus (pbuh) himself says, “I am God” or where he says, “worship me”. In fact the Bible contains statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in which he preached quite the contrary. Consider the following statements in the Bible, attributed to Jesus Christ (pbuh):
“My Father is Greater than I” (John 14:28)
“My Father is Greater than all” (John 10:29)
“…I cast out devils by the spirit of God….” (Mathew 12:28)
“…. with the finger of God cast out devils..…” (Luke 11:20)
“I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge; and my judgement is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father, which hath sent me.” John 5:30
The mission of Jesus Christ (pbuh) - he came to fulfill the Law:
Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity for himself. He clearly announced the nature of his mission. Jesus (pbuh) was sent by God to confirm the previous Judaic law. This is clearly evident in the following statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in the Gospel of Mathew:
“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the Prophets; I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
“Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. (The BibIe, Mathew 5: 17-20)

Muhammad (P.B.U.H) had sent many letters to different nations, the perse the romans the ottomans....( you do not need to look far to find out what he was before and after the revelation was given to him, we have authentics writtings carbondated from his time, the earliest Quran manuscript is at the Birmingham University and it's carbondated from his time, Islam is the only religion that have a chaine of scholars that goes back directly to Muhammad (P.B.U.H). Let me explain some of it;
He is not saying that Holy Spirit is a person, he is saying that according to the Christian believe, the Holy spirit is one person of the Trinity which states that there are 3 persons in ONE , the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. So the Holy sprit is ONE person of the 3 persons that forms the TRINITY according to Christians;
In explaining the birth of Mary mother of Jesus, he was using the Quranic explanation of how the whole event took place. The story goes like this according to the Quran;
Mary's mother made a prayer to Allah or God to give her an offspring or a child. Then she God that she wants the baby to be a boy so that she can give the boy to the service of God Himself which means she will send the boy live with priest and live his life in their midst in the temple doing what Gods wants etc;.... that was her wish. but unfortunately when she got pregnant and gave birth later; the child come out to be a girl child. she was disappointed but would still keep her promise to give the little girl to the service of God. her prayer would indirectly be answered in that Mary would miraculously give birth to Jesus......

When Ahmed Deedat says the holy spirit is a person, he was trying to criticize the the Christians who believe in 3 in 1 God by God the father is different person, God the Son is a different person and God the holy spirit is another person.

We note with sadness that you have been, for many years, promoting your belief primarily by attacking other faiths rather than by positively presenting your own Islamic teachings.
We regret that you have continued to make public verbal and written attacks on Christianity even though your arguments have been soundly refuted.
In an effort to degrade and discredit the Bible you have resorted to the use of ridicule and vulgar language. Your recent booklet "Combat Kit" is an example of this and it should be removed from circulation. We who highly esteem the Holy Bible find it unacceptable and offensive. This undignified behaviour is unbecoming for such a prominent religious leader as yourself. It is to be noted that this matter is not one of debate; that is, who is right or wrong as to faith and theology. Rather it is one of bad manners and disrespect. A democratic and free South Africa entrenches the right of all religions to propagate their beliefs freely without having to vilify and bad mouth others in the process. For too long you have propagated your beliefs by spreading literature about Christianity. Respectful refutation is one thing but misrepresentation and ridicule is another! It is for this that we rebuke you.
For the reasons stated above, prayerfully and humbly, we now rebuke you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for your stubborn persistence in this matter. We are compelled to warn you that unless you repent of your mockery, you will draw upon yourself the judgment of God in due course.

Sometime later, in May 1996, he suffered a severe stroke, rendering him speechless and paralysed, but fully alert. Christians came to pray for him, but he refused to repent. Ahmed Deedat died on 8 August 2005.
Deedat’s videos do not speak the truth. Much of the time he misquotes the Bible, and almost every time he quotes from it, it is out of context. Please be cautious of him, he was a deceiver. Do not play into his hands, he will lead you astray.
