This is an overview of a Trane Chiller Centrifugal, as a hvac school and hvac training specifically a CVHE/CVHF series. This machine cools a commercial hvac system. I train manny of my hvac apprentice on this one as a hvac basics to chillers. These are very simple and great machines to start a hvac career in chillers.
Another hvacr videos to help show hvac troubleshooting. If you are considering joining the hvac trade I highly suggest getting hvac training from a trade school. Online hvac training videos only get you so far. From experience hvac school is the way to go. No matter what you call it HVAC, HVACR, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Chillers, Low Temp, High Temp, Mechanical, ect, we are all blue collar in this hvac life.

New to your videos. I am a recently retired HVACR tech, after 28 years working on supermarket rack systems and then 17 years of industrial refrigeration with Frick screw machines, wye/Delta starters, VFDs etc. Your knowledge and troubleshooting skills are spot on. Never did centrifugals, whole different ball game. It amazes me as to how many specialized areas there are in our business. Keep up the great work.
You are so Awesome. Love your videos and that you share your knowledge. .. Thanks so much
Thank you for all the information.
I think a video on oil pump and oil return operation would make a good video. Along with how a educator works. This knowledge could be used across most water cooled chillers. Plus you have a great way of explaining the inner workings, keep up the great work. Looking forward to many more videos.
Noted as future videos!

Super
Left contactor is the start. Middle is the run, and the right contactor is the shorting or star. Smaller one is the transition contactor.
Great video as always
I wish if you can talk about difference between tech view and TU software for a better use and troubleshooting thanks

Thank you for the vid! What are you referring to when you say atmosphere? Thanks.
Could you please explain how atmosphere get into system for it to need a purge. Thanks.
Hey I'm going to school at the moment and was asked by my professor if I could find out if I could find out how many tons this system is. The name plate on my system in question is missing a portion of the info. Would you be able to let me know how many tons it is. The system we are looking at look exactly like this one. Thanks in advance and great video
This is some good information. I’m pursuing what you’re filming and everything helps. If you have any tips on getting certified in TN that’d be really sick.
Sorry I dont

When you say certified, what specifically do you mean
By Trane or the State of Tennessee
Hi I keep having a excessive condenser pressure what would your best advice be
Yo man. Are you able to do a specific video for the purging unit ? Need your help on this 🙏🏼
Sure, it might be a little while though. Got a lot happening right now. Do you have a specific question?
That chilled water is we have a refrigerant? Please answer me?
if it was a siphoning in purge then how does it start in the beginning?? Maybe because the purge at 0 degree is the coldest spot and refrigerant migrates to the coldest spot.
Yes, more accurate statement
Bagaimana cara membersihkan evaporator jika bocor tubbe?
What are some causes of low condenser water flow/ high Delta T?

How can I get tech view software so I can bind new sensors?
Trane's website
Does it have evprorated oil cooling section?
also it is not the starting contacts rather shorting
Instead of the term atmosphere how about we call it what it really is? Noncondensibles ! if you show this to students noncondensibles makes a lot more sense than atmosphere???
