- It’s been an anticipated 2 day visit to some orchid Nurseries in Florida. I am in the great company of Nelson’s from Nature Nel where we visited Bredren’s Orchid Nursery which is owned and operated by Philip Hamilton, a Jamaican Orchid Hybridizer. I promise you it was a visit filled with lots of fun, information and great fellowship.

We had such a wonderful time! Watching this brings back all those special moments. Going on this orchid excursion was great medicine for the soul. Spending time with like minded people brings so much joy and entertainment. Looking forward in seeing the 2nd day nursery visit at Krull Smith. 🤗💚🤗

Hello😊💕, I was so looking forward to seeing this. Both you and Nelson together, I knew this was going to be a great video 🤩That was really an orchid paradise, I was so blown away. It was awesome, I felt as if I was right there with you 😁 A sea of orchids with so many different varieties. Those cattleyas on the mounts in particular, I really loved. The cattleyas were awesome and of course they do better for me hanging whether on mount or otherwise as well. So you know, I'm now adding more to my collection. 💃💃

Another awesome video Doc. Phillip is as full of info as his dad is. They share it freely. I am happy you actually got to visit orchid nurseries. I instantly go into over load walking into the nursery. The orchids are all so beautiful & the fragrance is incredible. Did you get any new plants? Hope you have had a chance to relax. That Cattleya melody fair Carol was to die for. Loved the Laelia Anceps as well.

It was so much fun visiting even though it's quite easy to get orchid overload. It was a wonderful experience for me and is something that I would do again. Nelson did an awesome job.💃
For me the Phalaenopsis honghensis from Afri orchid took the cake. It is highly, highly fragrant and very unusual. There were many others that could go on my wish list though. I'm not able to take home plants and so it was to wise to purchase any. Thank you so much for the support and the love. So happy you came along. More is to come!! Stay tuned. One love friend 💖🥂

OK ... I watched the entire video (somebody hold me back please). FYI - I recently started "fertilising" ALL my plants with a very weak aloe vera "juice", and now most of orchids have sprouted new roots, shoots, and and a few spikes. I water/fertiliser every other day (it's still rainy here in SLU). Also I noticed the "Epidendrum Ciliare" was featured - this grows wild here in SLU, and I have one. AND ... last, but not least, my Vanda Mokara Thanida is finally sending out a spike!! I bought it two years ago, and it has given me two keikis - but this is its first spike. *Excitement!! 💃(suppressed screams). For Nelson, a few weeks ago, I mounted a dendrobium keiki on a sea fan!! So far, it is doing well.k

Ok the aloe vera is very beneficial to the plants, I really don't use it but I've heard testimonials.
