Got it! Unfortunately my first run I guess I miscalculated on the 7th round. Had several rats group up in that one corner and assumed I had 8 instead of 7. Thankfully the second time I did it I got it! Thank you! I can't imagine the amount of effort and time people are taking to solving these. Amazing job to all involved!
Don't forget to kill the catacombs rats too (but don't count them), because they may accidentally press the plates while you submit your answer. Don't ask me how I found out...

I think this part got nerfed, you should take a look on wowhead it doesnt have 7 rounds anymore, maybe you even completed it without knowing you should go check out the orb room
i just got 10 rats ( which is the maximum ) - i put 2 statues on P3 as it wrote down on the sheet. pressed submit and got electrocuted. i dont know what i am doing wrong but neither this sheet nor the one from concon works for me. i also went back and reset the instance and started all over again. got 10 rats again, put both statues on p3 and got electrocuted again. idk how this works.

My first try I get the count of rats wrong on the third round and I got zapped but did not die which got me really confused XD but thankfully I got a text that the instance had been reset so I knew I got it wrong and cheated death somehow :P my second try I got all rounds right and finished successfully, thanks for the vid.
Just a little hint: if you survive the machine's shockwave after a bad count, the puzzle will reset anyway. So start over even if you manage to survive =P
Something has changed for this one. If you get it wrong it doesn't kill you now, it just gives you a lightning shock which does no damage. It seems that it doesn't reset your previous rounds if you get it wrong. Which is kinda annoying cause now I've lost track of which round I'm on and going out and back in to the dungeon doesn't seem to reset it.
You can see what lock/round you are on by clicking the enigma machine it says ``There appears to be X locked mechanisms.´´ lock 7 = round 1 and lock 6 = round 2 and so on.
hey I think my character is bugged on this part because I always seem to fail the third lock and even when I fail I don't get killed by the electricity that comes from the device. is anyone else having this problem?
@FerlyJones I found out why it was not working. I kept pressing begin everytime I solved one lock whoch reset it again and again. I spent like 3 hours off of that.
Don't worry about the colors too much. You just have to make sure that when the graph tells to put 1 statue on the pressure plate, the color is blue, 2 statues shows green and 3 statues shows orange
I finally did it after a few attempts. I realized i kept failing because i left the statues on the plate from last round. So if you're having trouble and swear you're doing it right just make sure you take the statues off first after you complete a round
there is something wrong in this guide... i tried it like 6-7 times... first 2 round ALWAYS fine... third round always fail... go again... first 2 round is ok... third round fail... infinite loop... so i think statue/plate of round 3 are wrong

i tried the macro (copied and pasted) and it just targets every rat. i dont understand. there's really no explanation to what your looking for other than "use this macro"
Once you kill all the rats,put the statue on pressure plate and click submit,make sure to go back and move the statue from the plate.I was so lucky i had 5/7 rounds on P4.
fun fact if you fail and start over it will count as if it was one but it will count as an overall what do I mean, I did 3 fine then die, then restart it did 4 fine and got this game done, cheers
keep in mind which lock#(round in his chart) you are in...everyone starts at lock7(round 7) and when you get it right, you'll go into lock6(round 6)..etc etc...count the "rat" in the room in each round

Whoever said "rounds don't reset" and you don't die was wrong in the comments lol. I died once, then got zapped twice because i followed step 5s guide and it did reset to round1

My wife and I did this, alternating who clicked submit to keep track of rounds, but the final submit did not light up our orb (nor kill us, which is good). So, I tried submitting again just to see if we both needed to, and we got zapped. Don't do this in a group then, I suppose. 😋
In one moment I was automatically discounted from the game. When I logged in on that character, the character was slow, and still it is....He barely is moving. All other characters are moving normally. WTF????

Round 3 Clicked on begin killed rats set statues clicked on submit got zapped. why I have done this like 5 times and keep getting zapped on the 3rd round. The statues are in the right place i killed all the rats and I mean ALL the rats. Why do I get zapped on the 3rd round?

Very helpful video. Made it simple to complete in one pass in under 20 minutes! A lot easier than the #7 owl statues in VoTW!
It also helps if you go to options, interface and click check on critters and companions.

I have been stuck on the 3rd lock everytime. The spreadsheet is either wrong or has changed.

One of the charts is wrong for statue placements. Lock 3 possibilities or the statue numbers is wrong on the map.

I can't seem to see any rats even using a macro

There are 2 P5 in the chart, so P6 is "missing". Also the other Catacombs Rats can tricker the plates.

How do u bring statues do P3? if the room is closed?
Start pulling the statue as usual, use your crystal connection item on the crystal, the statue will become ghosty and follow you through the wall

This mount is not time gated, so you can get it in 5 years if you like. Do it at your own pace there's no rush :p

This is by far the worst puzzle they have ever made. The game is not stable enough for this. Get disconnected half the time from moving the statues.
