even though i won't find the time to actually look through all of your awesome tutorials i left a like and subscribed. Saw your awesomeness on a ZBrush summit, still amazed.
Thank you so much for the kind words and support! The ZBrush Summit was such an incredible experience, and I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it! Don't worry about going through all the tutorials-just knowing they're appreciated makes the effort worth it.
bookmarked this, i need to get back from the trip and start watching all your tutorials because it's fascinating how you approach modeling and i never seen anyone using this precise and accurate modeling using z-modeler. not only that, you are a true artist.
I have been closely following along, and after video 05, I felt the strong need to just say thank you! I wish I could study under you Henry... Your style of teaching is EXACTLY what I have been searching for.
Omg I just bought your tutorial a few days ago and in learning progress. I feel so lucky when i see you release this tutorial for free on UA-cam, i feel like you just created a straight smooth path for me to success in 3D. Thank you so much for your support
Loved this! I'll be following this tutorial closely. Hard surface is my weakest area and I love seeing how other artists tackle problems I might encounter in the future.
I really appreciate that such a pro took the time to upload so many videos to showcase his whole process. Usually, something like that used to cost a lot of money and was exclusive to very few people. But this one is totally free. Unfortunately, I don't have enough time and energy right now to dive into this and would really love it if you took the additional effort of extracting some of your most useful and important ZModeler and hard surface / mechanical objects knowledge into a distilled and compact tutorial. Maybe you even already have something like that, I haven't checked out your other content yet but I saw your Kawasaki bike model already as one of the images that are included into ZBrushs screensaver so it's already famous
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! I really appreciate your kind words. I do plan on creating shorter videos that are more focused on individual hard surface techniques and ZBrush features, as I know how valuable that can be for those who are short on time but still eager to learn. And yes, it's pretty cool to see the Kawasaki motorcycle model included in ZBrush's screensaver-I’m thrilled that it’s been so well-received! Thanks again for the encouragement and feedback-it really motivates me to keep improving and providing valuable content.
This was the cleanest tutorial video I've ever seen. Insane quality with perfect instructions and explanations delving into the "why" you're doing things. I'm blown away and can't wait for the series! 💪🏻
Hello Master Chervenka. Thank you so much for this futur series ! Looking forward to it ! Just one little question sir : Where can I find the MatCap (Model06) you're using. Or how can I make it, I mean on my own ? It looks like the screen space cavity feature of Blender, which is so cool to easily comprehend the volumes and shapes !!! Thanks again for what you do for the community !
To get this look, start by picking a basic matcap like the green metallic one. Then, open the material palette and head over to the modifiers tab. Here’s the fun part: play around with the cavity detection and cavity transition sliders. Just bump up the cavity detection a bit and set the cavity transition to a negative value. Next, adjust intensity A and intensity B until it looks just right to you. To finish off, add a slight blur to soften things up a bit. If you’re looking for some cool materials to try, definitely check out the Zbro materials online-they're awesome!
@@henrychervenka2166 I didn't expect to receive such a detailed answer !😄Works like a charm ! You're the best ! I really loved your UH-60 Rotor Tutorial. Can't wait to start the new one. Have a good one and thanks again!
@@henrychervenka2166 Aha! no wonder i cant fit all the stuff in your UI 🤪 Looks really interesting as i focus mainly on learning and liking hard surface character creation the most. I cant help but being amazed with the stuff that you are able to make in ZBrush! Awesome stuff! i have already done your rotor tutorial and loved it! So i can't wait do dive in to this series 🤠
Hi, out of curiosity, why are you doing this for free? This stuff is really impressive, it made me want to go back to Zbrush for more than just sculpting. Thank you for that, but I'm still curious.
Hi! Thank you so much for the kind words! I’m thrilled to hear it’s inspired you to explore more of what ZBrush can do beyond sculpting. As for why I’m doing this for free, I genuinely enjoy sharing knowledge and helping others explore their creativity. I do have a paid tutorial on my ArtStation and plan to create more in the future, but I also want to keep offering free content here on UA-cam. It’s my way of giving back for all the support the community has given me over the years!😃
the dynamesh utility tool was amazing. i sometimes struggle with scaling when use dynamesh resolution. its helpful for me. Btw, which material are you using? and what was the C1,C2 and C3 buttons do?
Awesome, glad it was helpful! 😃 The materials used are just slight modifications of the basic material. For some interesting options, I recommend checking out Zbro materials. The C1, C2, and C3 buttons are for saving camera angles. While you can do this in the Draw palette, I prefer using a plugin called Mad Poly Toolbag for storing cameras.
It's a plugin from Artistnaut that enables you to assign brushes, alphas, textures, and materials to a pop-up menu for quick access. I go into more detail about this towards the end of the video.

Thank you! 😀 The screen I am currently on is 3840 x 2160. However, the screen size that the tutorial was recorded on was 2k.
