I feel like these Edge systems are not only geared for the more knowledgeable owners but also the average joe owners due to the simplicity of the installation. I just bought the truck I've been dreaming about for 20 years. 01 SB Cummins. If I end up picking up an Edge system, I might just do my first video showing how even newer Diesel owners can do it. Thanks for the video!
I had a juice with attitude on my 99, ran it for about 6 months without tapping the pump. It basically is a EZ if you dont tap the pump but gives you a monitor as well. After i had the trans built i tapped the pump and holy crap it was a HUGE difference! I already had a lift pump and injectors so the trans was last to be upgraded. That was a fun truck.
installation is pretty similar between the two. The Juice system will include an egt probe and fuel pressure sensor. Those would be items you need to add-on if you buy a Comp and Insight CTS3. The Comp will fuel a little harder, but the Juice will offer safety back downs if you do alot of towing
I’m thinking about buying this for my truck that is currently bone stock, and I’m wondering what screen or gauges I would use to monitor to make sure everything is good. Any recommendations?
I have a brand new map sensor, and im getting a code for the map sensor code. with the comp box plugged into the MAP sensor, i have no power til about 1900-2100 rpms. takes off after that. i also cant connet my phone. it says device not found
If I don't tap the pump, will it still run level 1? My trans is still stock but have a shift kit with bumped up line pressure. I would just like the 40hp bump

How much longer till it’s carb approved for CA?
In terms of ease of installation, better to go with Comp box and Cts3 monitor?? or just go with Juice/Cts3 combo??
Are there benefits either way?

You could pair this device with our Insight CTS3, but you can also look at your Juice with Attitude CTS3 device for your application

Can you still run a cts monitor?
Yes! This device can be run in conjunction with an Insight CTS
I just bought this tuner and I’m installing it right now. I don’t understand how to tap it in do I need to screw it in or what??
Use the included tap from the kit, it will poke thro
ugh the wire shielding and create a power tap
It’s a wire tap

Yes, you'll still be able to use the box and add a little bit of power without the pump tap
I just got mine and I’m having problems getting the controller to pair
same here. app works fine, controller not
Can not get remote to piar just keeps scrolling but can use app to change tune levels and edit how can i fix
please reach out to my tech support 888-360-3343
U ever get it paired?
Will the comp box be compatible with the manual nv5600 transmission?
You bet!
Is a boost elbow not needed here?
For the HX35W trucks, a boost elbow is required and included with the kit. On the HY35 truck, no boost elbow is needed.
Only problem I have is I can’t edit the tunes?
The app will allow you to make changes to boost fueling setpoint, APP fueling set point, and timing.
How much hp gain would I be looking at with this box, stock injectors and stock HY35 with s475/96/1.32 in compound? 2001 24v
With stock injectors, you're going to be limited on fuel supply to around 170-180hp gains
Gotcha. I just ordered some 7x.009 injectors to the configuration in my original comment, where do you think the at would put me at hp wise?
@@CBDiesel86 Did you end up upgrading the injectors? How's everything going?
@@theaveragejoebody I did upgrade injectors. It runs great but definitely needs a bigger manifold charger
Does the app work with an older computer box?
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by 'older computer box'?
@@edgeproductsman sorry didn't type that right. Does it work with an older comp box?
@@-jeffreybollenbach- No, the phone app is specific to the latest Comp box. The older Legacy versions do not have that technololgy
So the more boost fuel PSI the less smoke.
