@@CaptainCretaceous91 the skins werent really all that exiting and it made the trike go a bit boring over time, still one of my favourite dino's though
I think the top trike is more accurate, too. Those scales match skin impressions we have and the horns recurve up like that in real life too. Same with the head -- under the frill ceratopsids had a typically long archosaur head.
@@imjustlookingformywatch It also had a striped back. You can see stribed backed and non striped back trikes during the plane flying over the heard scene. They had to have reused the TLW models.

Oh man I'm really excited to see you include some of these new skins in your parks... Between the raptors and these gorgeous triceratops.... There's gonna be some beautiful exhibits in the future.
these triceratops look a lot nicer than the Jurassic World variants, and dare I say more accurate to their actual fossil counterparts? The size and arrangements of their scales and the osteoderms along the back make it look far more realistic and alive than the JW ones.
10:26 Hmm, the way I’m seeing it, maybe the Jurassic World Trike could represent Triceratops Prorsus and the Jurassic Park Trike could represent Triceratops Horridus? Or does the other way around sound better?
The JWE Triceratops alt skins suck but not because the skins, but because the horns. Why do the horns change colour and take on the skin pattern? No other ceratopsid in the game does that. It ain't so bad on Arid and Alpine as horns can be beige and grey but on Steppe, Coastal and especially Woodland it just looks daft. It makes the model look like it has an unfinished render. These new JP ones don't do that and I am so glad.
Triceratops was indeed in Jurassic park three. It is the one of the few dinosaurs that has been in all of the movies along side parasaurolophus velociraptor trex. I might be forgetting one.

Personally I like both the Jurassic world and the Jurassic Park dinosaur models as I am used to the Jurassic world models but it’s cool to see some new models of the same dinosaurs with the Jurassic Park ones.
It seems like the JW trike pic is a direct side profile, while the JP one is slightly off (hence why you can see all the top of the head above the eyes for the JP one) which is where you are getting the impression that the horns are splayed on the JP one but not the JW. The JW one has splayed horns as well, but I can’t say if they are as wide as JP one. Still love the details of the JP one like the osteoderms, scales, and better transition from scales to horn, which look kinda strange on the JW one. The beak and skins on the JP one look better too.
Y'know, all this talk about skins gave me an idea for a future park you could make. Basically, you build a park with twelve exhibits, each dedicated to one of the twelve base alternate skins (Alpine, Arid, Coastal, Jungle, Rainforest, Savannah, Steppe, Taiga, Tundra, Vivid, Wetland and Woodland), and in each exhibit you place your favourite dinosaur of that skin type. HOWEVER, once you pick a dinosaur for one exhibit, you can't use it again for another (so, for example, if you picked Rainforest Stygimoloch, you can't then pick Coastal Stygimoloch), so you'd need to think about how you'd rank each dinosaur skin. Feel free to ignore, though, and do whatever park you want.
I got this dlc and i can say one thing. IT IS AWSOEME!!!!!!!! Also when i tranked the group of stegos in isla sorna, one of them slid down the cliff. I thought she would've been dead.

Does anyone else get annoyed and confused by the fact the original stegosaurus and triceratops were more accurate than the Jursssic World ones? Like... why change the design to be less accurate? I have the same issue with the baryonyx, after having the original Jurassic Park which went for realistic looking and accurate dinosaurs for the time, (the t-rex was pretty much perfect, and the Raptors were pretty much perfect for deinonychus). But then u have the Jurassic world Baryonyx... ... WHY. Theres no excuse now, other than maybe, u could say they used different DNA to give it a certain look, maybe they used crocodile dna in it. But then theres the sinoceratops, droopy long tail, the elephant like skin, the short stubby legs, the elephant feet, and then... the bloody holes in the skull. God I'm so glad we have these new skins now. And the patterns kinda remind me of the triceratops from prehistoric park

I like how he said the 1993 Triceratops looked "more like a dinosaur" than the Jurassic World model, even though the jury is still out on how these animals actually looked like among paleontologists. Lol
The Trike had a brief appearance in JP3. You can see a herd of them during the fly over scene towards the beginning of the film
Fun fact: Triceratops, Parasaurolophus, Rex, and Raptor are the only dinosaurs to appear in all films

Where is the green triceratops with the white stripes from Jurassic Park 3
Triceratops did appear in JP III, it was during the plane scene. However that was a few seconds and they reused the bull trike from The Lost World.
Didn't the bull trike have a raised tail
