I love that you use wood, I've seen many ready panels in polyurethane but wood is so much better IMO. They look great! thank you very much for the guide
Great video very informative. Can I ask when marking the bottom trim why did you use your template and a piece of trim and not just the template? Thanks
This is an amazing guide, can you advise how do you paint the panels do you use a wood primer and then use a wood paint for the panels or can you just paint over all of it ie the wood and walls with normal Matt emulsion? Thanks
hey i have a grey bed and i am looking for guidance on how to choose the right colour and paneling design to make my double bedroom look brighter and prettiest, can u help me plz
HI Kirsty, Love this- ca I ask why you have no more nails and Diall Coving Adhesive & filler and Ronseal 36553 Smooth Finish Filler - are these all for different parts of the job? thanks Emma
Hi Kirsty. When attaching to the exterior wall which I assume is concrete do you only use the glue or do you use nails/screws also? My house has no drywall and I see a lot of people use nails but nailing a stone wall will be difficult. Wondering if the no more nails is enough.
This was just glued to the drywall. The no more nails is so strong. I put one bit in the wrong place, removed a piece and took half the wall off !! It’s more than enough.

Great job getting it done with simple, inexpensive tools and using extra stock as a guide. Thank you for sharing this confidence-building video.
Brilliant guide, thank you. I've bought all the wood hoping to start mine tomorrow
Oh fab. Look forward to seeing the finished result.
Where was your wood from? The links are broken here.
Was going to look at Wickes as B&Q didn’t have anything right
Wow! Looks great!

I’ve just watched the hall make over and it was very informative thank you 👍 could you tell me the colour of the panels on the bottom please. Thanks
Internal corner cuts are always a scribed cut. To minimise the joint opening up ,if the corner of the wall is not 90 degrees.
Great video. One thing I didn’t get is how do you get the gap size between the separate panelling rectangles if you know what I mean?
You use the template I show
Great video very informative. Can I ask when marking the bottom trim why did you use your template and a piece of trim and not just the template? Thanks
Because I was replacing the skirting with a higher skirting. This made it the correct height gap above the new skirting.
What do you do if the liquid nails squeezes out on the wall? Just wipe it with a cloth?
Looks so good! Congrats!
This is an amazing guide, can you advise how do you paint the panels do you use a wood primer and then use a wood paint for the panels or can you just paint over all of it ie the wood and walls with normal Matt emulsion? Thanks
I prime all the wood, then just paint over with Farrow & ball
The links for the wood are not working. Can I ask where you got them from? Looks great 👏🏻
Love this going to give it a try
Fab 🙏 it’s transformed my dull hall.

Yes. Coving adhesive to attach the coving, no more nails to attached the MDF, and the filler is to fill gaps.
Okay Superwoman 👌🏽 Love your channel. New sub 💐
That’s awesome!
My corners are not joining, and they have grooves on them. Do I have to cut from the same wood piece and glue them together?
Hi, could you tell me what the paint is you used please. It’s a gorgeous tone.
Did you put the filler in the mitre gaps and the caulk on the dado rail?
Yes 🙌🏻
How do you cut the main piece that goes across the top of the wall? What angle cut are you using?
Its beautiful! What color gray is this? I love it
