it's because of the app. Mi Fitness app is horrible and you can no longer use Zepp Life for mi band 8. The Mi Fitness app is really bad, it even adds fake steps based on phone movements.

I don't see the problem in mine currently though.Did you try to contact your nearby xiaomi store where they fix the electronics under warranty and stuff.Its the global version so they should look into it from what I know. let's hope I don't get the problem you're talking about lol 🤞

you can received notification messenger, viber, text. etc just allow app notification in your MI fitness app settings. hope it helps.😊

Gadgets don’t need usually need a screen protector, but if you need extra protection and extra piece of mind - just buy it, should be pretty cheap.
