5:10 the way the needle popping the bubbles is edited perfectly on beat is one of the most satisfying visual x sound combo i've ever witnessed!!! Loved it so much!!
Really admire your perseverance and patience into wanting to complete this project, its alright Minori..Im sure the next round will be a better round! Never give up, you’re doing absolutely wonderful~
Honestly, this is my best video from you. Thank you for showing that not everything goes well and that sometimes you might have to start over. I love you even more for showing this. Well done.
I second this comment! I really love your channel and your creativity. Plus you have a great positive and pleasant personality that makes watching you a joy. Thank you for sharing this creative project. Even though it didn’t come out exactly how you wanted, I still think it was a success! You did great❤
YOu're crazy doing it bubble to bubble. BUT crazy amazing to try it out where not many people will do what you would do. I admire your talent, patience and not giving up. The paint matching to the beads are amazing!
Is anyone else sitting here SCREAMING "Minori! Go get real needles in the smallest gauge you can find!!!!" With good technique you won't have the paint mess that you are getting with the large blunt needles. Love this idea and will use it for Social Committee over the summer. Thanks for all the hard work.
@pennycandyys You can't be serious. Crafting often uses sharp needles (sewing, cross stitch, embroidering) and it would have saved so much time and trouble. Crafting uses all kinds of dangerous tools including hot glue guns, saws, wood burning pens, chemicals, razor blades, and many others. A sharp needle seems pretty tame in comparison to resin crafting and the fumes/chemicals.
@@miss_lilyanneWhy did you feel that you needed to begin your comment with the very snarky "You can't be serious"? This part of your comment wasn't just snarky, it was also a question and thus required a question mark. Try reading over your words before you tap send, because you may realize that you can say what you want to say without the unnecessary addition of the snark. I don't intend this in a mean way, but just as a reminder that words have power, and you don't know how what you say might affect the person to whom you're speaking. Stay safe and enjoy your autumn or spring, depending upon where you live. ✌️from 🇨🇦
I'm not sure if the paint would be easy to pull up into a fine gauge needle, and it would be quite a bit easier to poke through the other side of the bubble that way. You're right though, it would be so much easier if a smaller gauge could be used.
@louisejohnson6057 @louisejohnson6057 You can't be serious is NOT a question and therefore does NOT require a question mark. If I asked "Are you serious?", I would then need a question mark. Before correcting someone, be sure to educate yourself to reduce the risk of looking like a nincompoop as you did here. As for "snark", that is all invented by you. I found the original reply that argued that a grown woman would poke herself over and over doing crafts and therefore it was not safe to be laughable. It was absurd. Almost as absurd as being misquoted and then lectured on tone, punctuation, and feelings by someone who needs to be educated rather than teach. So.. Happy Fall. Wave an American Flag. Insert cute emoji here. Whatever bull you need to make you feel better after someone gives you the old comment section spanking you needed.
I was very impressed with your color matching. I wonder if it might be a better idea to work with the bubble paper flat. That way, gravity will pull your paint down to more fully fill the bubbles and keep them from leaking in the puncture hole where you injected them. Tape the bubble wrap on the frame, but don't have the plastic sheet in it, just open and let the paint pool and collect to more fully fill the bubbles. I know it will get heavy with paint and at some point you may need to support it. But it's all trial and error at this point. Great job.
Super cute idea, Minori!! I don't think this is something I would try myself, but it is so fun and relaxing to watch you work on it! I am looking forward to the next bubble wrap art video. :3
THANKYOU FOR POSTING THIS VID EVEN THO IT DOESNOT SHOW THE FINAL PIECE . THIS ACTUALLY REALLY MOTIVATED ME TO SEE HOW MUCH YOU WORK HARD AND HOW MUCH PASSION YOU HAVE ON DOING THINGS THAT YOU LOVE . I WOULD HAVE EASILY GAVE UP IF I WERE YOU BUT SEEING YOU START IT ALL OVER AGAIN AGAIN IS SO HEART TOUCHING FOR ME AS I KNOW HOW MUCH PATIENCE THIS TYPE OF THING NEEDS . REALLY ADMIRE YOU AND YOUR CALM PERSONALITY . CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT VIDEO!!
You could use a 20 gauge (20G) sharp needle if you’re careful - still use the 18G blunt to draw it up, but swap it for a 20G sharp to inject it into the bubbles. If you get a 20ml syringe instead of the 10ml, you’d have to do less refilling too. Actually you can just dip the syringe tip in & draw it up directly that way. Would give you smaller holes & you should still be able to inject the paint ok. Even an 18G sharp needle to inject it would give you a smaller hole, as you pierce the plastic more easily instead of trying to force the blunt needle in. Just put your needles in warm water every time you change them to stop them from drying & clogging. (Lol. And now I just watched the much easier drawing up method you had!)
Hi minori, I have a suggestion for bubble painting. Find the depth the needle goes into the bubble without hitting back of bubble. Place tape on needle to show where to stop pushing needle to get to depth needed. If this seems confusing, check out a construction video about tape on drill bits so it doesn't go to deep into wood. Hope you try again on bubble painting. Love this idea. Bye, garnet
Great idea. You could do this with anything. Scrap or torn paper, miniature photos, bottle tops, jewellery - although that is already a thing, crocheted flowers, mosaics of broken plates - also already a thing, lots of media from 3 D to 2D.
thank you for sharing the creative idea and the processes for this! i also really appreciate that you still show this video even though you might consider it a fail, but content-wise it’s actually really helpful and encouraging to see the real things and challenges that happened. it’s also not your mistake that you didn’t check the bubble wraps, i think it’s near impossible to check them one by one and also its unlikely there’s a sheet of bubble wrap that size to have no flat/popped bubbles!
Does anyone know the name of the song at 16:19? I've been searching for it long before this video but I could never find it :< Even Shazam couldn't pick it up.

Minori, you must be very patient to do all this! After so long of watching your videos, this is my first time watching you do art on bubble wrap! It seems like you always torture - err... I mean challenge yourself! I look forward to watching more videos of yours! Written by: Cora Tan Han Yin, 8 years old, Johor, Malaysia
I am so impressed at how well you color matched. I'm also super impressed with your fortitude to keep going even when you knew it was going to be super time consuming. You did great job and I hope it works out when you try again! ❤
Great idea! I've been doing crafts for years and haven't ever heard of such an idea. Great courage! We all need to see that sometimes our ideas do not come to creation, but that's okay. This colour matching was not only super entertaining but also SUPER impressive!! I'm blow away by your dedication, Minori!!!
I love watching you and everything you do. Watching you is peaceful. I love it. This is random but I think the woobles crochet hello kitty kit you be awesome for you to make. I'm a beginner working on some right now. Just some inspiration. ❤❤❤
This is such a cool project! It's ok that it didn't work perfectly, it definitely looks like it's a project that takes a little practice but we're here to see you grow and expand your art! ❤🎉 seeing it not go perfectly right away makes this experience real and more relatable ❤
You can get bubble wrap with larger and more durable air pockets, it might make it easier since there's more room for error even if it means a slightly less detailed piece.
This is such an entertaining idea💡 I've been thinking for something interesting to do in my holidays but i couldn't search up for something amazing, now I think this something I could do 💖 thanks minori ❤️ you are the real crafty queen 👑
TORTURE IS CORRECT 😅 But I feel like you have to do the other version of Howl with the black hair as well. Maybe do a split image of both Howl looks in one big look. Lol the print out of guide size seems like a nice easier size to do 11×14" or 13x19" ...20×24" maybe lil ok...I won't be able to buy all those supplies but this really amazing Minori 👌🏽 You always do amazing stuff that we've always dreamed of doing! Thank you for sharing.
Words of criticism: 1. Don't remove protective layer of the acrylic sheet to protect from dust and paint (it's already known from the test that it's potentially messy) 2. The final result would've been flipped anyway since that's how it printed out. (So basically the deformed bubbles don't even matter if you wanted to keep it exactly the same as the picture) 3. Poking a hole into the bubble would've only required something like a sewing needle or pin, there wasn't a need to take out the medical needle unless it was to replace all the ones filled with paint.
OMG Minori i love idea definitely going 2 try it out and i love how you have patience some artist would just give up but u keep trying! I also love how in 5:09 to 5:13 you matched it up with the music I watched that part so many times it was satisfying to listen to ! it is kinda funny when you say you torture or challenge yourself😂 love you Minori! ❤❤❤
oh, talk about having patience!! The color matching part was very satisfying [and they all looked matched to me!], though trying to figure out just how to do this had to be equal parts frustration and satisfaction once you figured it out! I'm probably the only one that's gonna say this, but I thought the "wrong" side looked better than the bubble side did. All of those nice, perfect circles.... So sorry you had to start over, I know how frustrating that can be, and good on you for keeping with it! Not everyone would have that kind of perseverance....
I have another idea you have never done!!! I just think u should give the camera man a special day for himself where he can do crane games and stuff. I know that you don’t have to do this, but it just makes everyone so happy including me when he gets something from the games!❤❤❤
Wow!!! That you even attempted this is amazing. I give you so much credit for trying. Next time, maybe go smaller. Like the size of the diamond art painting.
Lol. Btw those are the real medical stuff. Those blunt big needles are how we get drugs & fluid from an ampoule into the syringe. Love your challenge though 😊 Definitely not easy. I wonder if you can remove the plastic when the paint fully dries, and glue down all the little dots to recreate (or even create) the painting 🤔
You could use a 20 gauge (20G) sharp needle if you’re careful - still use the 18G blunt to draw it up, but swap it for a 20G sharp to inject it into the bubbles. Keep going! I want to see the result. I love it when creators show the "failures" as well so you can see that there is a learning process to things and not everything is perfect from the get go.
This is cool. (Edit: totally didnt wait until the end to comment. Ignore the rest because you did exactly what i suggested 😅) I think a pointed needle would work better though as its easier to pierce the layer without going out the front. It looks like youre using blunt needles which requires a bit more force and is likely where youre going through the front layer
With mistakes in art, they can be there, your eye just has to not catch them, ie. the little bubbles that aren’t full round bubbles like the others, probably won’t be noticeable simply because they’re still round. Good effort though!
Watching this video is so satisfying 💕💕. The process is torture as you said, but the results are amazing even if it didn't turn out the way you want it. Thank you for posting this video, you really are a shining star 🌟 you encourage me and motivate me every time I watch your videos.
You are so talented, what an amazing new craft to try. As I absolutely love diamond painting this will be one I will try out. Thank you for sharing all the do's and don't, looking forward to the next video. Take care 🥰👏
This is Super COOL! But how frustrating with the bubbles, However sending Postive thoughts your way! It's okay to walk away and rethink the project! Love watching your videos and can't wait to see what you do next!
I enjoyed this it is so creative I'm wondering if a large magnifying glass and mirror would help you with putting the paint in the bubble and fast drying paint.
After watching this video my mind was in shook!🤯 the amount of time and the patient of your is incredible!!❤ i believe you, u can do it Minori!!🫶 ❤ you are such a hard working and talented person. Can't wait for next video☺️
Cute idea. I hope you can still make this after some time away. Some things that may help: Paint is squirting out of the bubbles because you’re trying to fill an already full container. The only exit is around the edges of the needle. As you add paint, you’re increasing the pressure inside the bubble, which means something has to leave the bubble, whatever is closest to the only exit, meaning both air and paint will come out. So flatten the bubble, get all the air out first, before putting the paint in. That way you can re-inflate the bubble with mostly paint, and you won’t have to fight air pressure. :) For any of the weird flatter bubbles, completely flatten them, cut out a good bubble and glue it on top of the bad one. No one will be able to tell from a distance that you replaced a bubble here and there. Instead of going row by row, maybe try giving yourself landmarks first. Kinda like how you did the heart first and then the background in your test. It’s like the bubblewrap equivalent of sketching a figure and outlining it before filling it with color. Since you’re already working with an image that uses outlines, take advantage of that design. That way you can visualize it better and check yourself more easily as you go. Maybe even mark the backs of the bubbles to match the letters and colors with your key. More work upfront, but less in the long run since it would be harder to mess up. It would be a true diamond painting that way. 😁 You may also want to print your key mirrored since you’re working from the back, unless you’re okay with the final image being mirrored. Along those same lines, maybe fill in the dots on your key with similar colored markers instead of just crossing them out so you can still reference your full key. Since it’s acrylic, if you catch a color mistake before it dries, you could potentially squeeze out the wrong color and rinse out the bubble with water from a syringe. So maybe do a last color check at the end of each session before it dries. It’s likely the paint will take a long time to dry since water will only be able to escape from the tiny hole in the back, so you should have time to rework it as needed. One other thing you may need to consider is weight. The painting will get heavy, the center will droop, and that frame and tape may not be enough to hold it up. Just keep weight in mind as you go so you can reinforce it as needed. It might be easier to lay it down flat on a table with another smaller square frame underneath to hold up the edges bordering the section you want to work on. Anyway, good luck if you decide to attempt this again. As a viewer, I’m definitely invested in seeing you succeed if you’re still up for the challenge. I would happily watch a part 2. ☺️
I am not done yet! Part 2 is here: ua-cam.com/video/TSlTAzLm-7U/v-deo.html

if you try something like this again, a lot of people who do acrylic pours use dish soap and water to thin paints, that may make it easier as well.
if your paint is thinner, you might just be able to use a very thin needle, instead of going back and forth.
it would be more prep, but you could also print a paper to put directly behind the bubbles, that way you dont have to go back and forth between your reference sheet (that may be hard to see because of the plastic though. Maybe you could mark the side facing you with its letter or number?

Blunt needles exist for a reason, it’s not a great idea to use real needles because of the risk of poking herself, repeatedly.

Thank you so much!!!! This is such a creative idea ❤ you are actually very talented ❤ keep going
This is so creative 😁 you have no boundaries to talent minori ♥️♥️✨
Keep going! I want to see the result. I love it when creators show the "failures" as well so you can see that there is a learning process to things and not everything is perfect from the get go.
U did a great job, Minori and hoping it will be a successful one on your 2nd try! Love ya!❤️
The katana casually sitting in the intro is a great touch 👌
Cute video! I love to see your projects
Wow! All that prep work!!! And you’re so good at color matching!
The sheer determination wow Minori
I thought I would never finish my diamond art that I have been doing for so long but ur inspiring me to do what I have been doing for so long
I absoloutley am in love with your edting style ❤ love from sweden!!
Diamond pieces kit happy Helloween Harry Potter
With mistakes in art, they can be there, your eye just has to not catch them, ie. the little bubbles that aren’t full round bubbles like the others, probably won’t be noticeable simply because they’re still round. Good effort though!
Watching this video is so satisfying 💕💕. The process is torture as you said, but the results are amazing even if it didn't turn out the way you want it. Thank you for posting this video, you really are a shining star 🌟 you encourage me and motivate me every time I watch your videos.
Cute idea, but very time consuming! Maybe eventually they will come out with a kit specifically to do this! Love your videos! ❤
There's a guy Bradley Hart that does the same with bubble wrap. Love all you do ❤️ I might have to try doing this one day 😊
You are so talented, what an amazing new craft to try. As I absolutely love diamond painting this will be one I will try out. Thank you for sharing all the do's and don't, looking forward to the next video. Take care 🥰👏
I wonder if this would work better with paint added into school glue--thinner than acrylic paint and would probably dry better/more quickly.
This is a WILD idea omg. You are such a creative queen for going through this. Looking forward to the next installment!
Ur determination to keep on going with something this difficult is inspiring, I respect ur artistry
You can do it Minori! That is a lot of bubbles! 0_o
But I'm sure its going to look so awesome when you do complete it.
Wow! You are very patient!!!!
You are far more patient than I am! It was a noble idea and effort! I can see how diamond painters would also enjoy a challenge like this.
I am amazed by the level of patience you have. Truly inspiring.
This is Super COOL! But how frustrating with the bubbles, However sending Postive thoughts your way! It's okay to walk away and rethink the project! Love watching your videos and can't wait to see what you do next!
So sorry for the long comment but also i love the idea of you using your diamond art for inspo and help! ❤😊
I enjoyed this it is so creative I'm wondering if a large magnifying glass and mirror would help you with putting the paint in the bubble and fast drying paint.
Ohhhhh this are soooooo cool I really love your idea Minori
After watching this video my mind was in shook!🤯 the amount of time and the patient of your is incredible!!❤ i believe you, u can do it Minori!!🫶 ❤ you are such a hard working and talented person.
Can't wait for next video☺️
You are a true artist you are willing to try ideas that are stuck in your head and your willing to make it all a learning experience ❤
Im actually more impressed with your color matching the paint to the beads
WOW!
Thank you for the tips I grew up watching your videos now I thank you I am an artist now
I love how you’re so patient I hope your next project goes well
Girl 4680 bubbles omg ur so hardworking and focused it looks and sounds so hard it’s so satisfying to watch but ur hardwork really hats off
Thank you for all the hard work as always Minori! I hope that you'll have enough rest as always. ❤ No pressure from uploading videos. ❤
Cute idea. I hope you can still make this after some time away.
Some things that may help:
Paint is squirting out of the bubbles because you’re trying to fill an already full container. :)
For any of the weird flatter bubbles, completely flatten them, cut out a good bubble and glue it on top of the bad one.
You may also want to print your key mirrored since you’re working from the back, unless you’re okay with the final image being mirrored.
This is such a crazy art project thank you for posting it! It was so entertaining ❤ love your work minori
THE COLOUR MATCHES ARE CRAZY GOOD!!!!!!
