I really agree that it is important to take breaks while doing long art projects. I’ve spent over 12 hours working on a school art project during only one weekend and I can assure you, my body hurts like crazy from not taking breaks.

I had never really been interested in diamond painting before but something about the sturdy glass backing vs the canvas makes me really want to try it now.
I really respect minori for not stressing herself whenever she does these types of projects and I would like to say keep it up! Your videos are really calming to watch and maybe you can give us a video of a day in your life or like what you do if you take a break from drawing.
I would choose neither because I just use one tray and pour in a few dots at a time for what I'm working on. I work in lines bottom to top across the whole piece so I can keep everything lined up and use the plastic film as a cover during breaks (which you can't do if you cut it off). Doing it this way means that I don't need as many colours out in front of me as if I went with square chunks. Also I do my diamond dotz on my lap (due to disabilities that make it harder at a table) so I don't want loads of stuff open that can be knocked over. So I have tall narrow tubes for my dots which I can unscrew as needed & pop into the tray. I don't have the tool that places multiple at once. I could get one, bht watching others use it, their dots never line up as neatly as you'd hope them to. So I stick with applying one dot at once. Takes longer but its the process of doing it I enjoy so speeding it up has no benefit to me.
The painting turned out great, I truly loved the shiny diamonds. And I wish you can make a video about the garden progress too. I'm so happy for you and hope you always get the best of the best.

This is so cool! Instead of having a tray for each color, you could just use the containers you originally put the colors into, then pour a little out into one tray when it was time to use it. Once done, pour it back into the container, and pour the next color into the same tray. This is how I work, and I find it much less fiddly. :)
It turned out so pretty! The character on the painting reminded me of Robin from Honkai: Star rail, I'm sure you'd like that character, Minori, she's sooo pretty! 💜
