    Oh Wow!!! That turned out so very pretty!!! It definitely suits the style of the paper. I will keep this idea in mind when I do a journal that has a theme that it would look great with. Great work!!! 🥰💖

    Stunning! You really did a fabulous job. I love that you used what you had, because most of us would start with a cereal box (and have to paint it!) So I appreciate the clear instructions keeping it where we can actually do it without buying tons of new products. Gorgeous! Hugs ❤️🤗

      Thank you!! I'm glad you found it helpful and realistic. It was funny, I forgot to tell Steph I took the box, so when she got home I just got a text saying "The cereal is gone. What did you do with it?" hahaha 😂

    Very nice! 🥰 I like the feminine look that the pearls give. 😻 I also like the colours in this journal, although I usually prefer greens to blues. 😸 I also love the lace on the edges. I don't get out very often but really need to find some laces and haven't found any for a decent price online. I have plenty of ribbon, but not much lace... and the lace works much better. Walmart needs me to visit their crafting area. 🤣

    • @myporchprints-junkjournalt5340
      @myporchprints-junkjournalt5340  7 місяців тому +1

      Haha, it's true! Walmart usually has some good sales on their laces so we grab a few now and again if we happen to be getting groceries. Everything is so expensive lately, so a bargain on lace is a must!
      Thanks so much for watching! 🤍

    Amazon has a really great pair of Deckle scissors for sale.. I think my pear came from the UK.. didn't have any luck with the round Tim Holtz tool, and didn't see much results with the Tim Holtz Guillotine cutter edge..

    Question, please. What is the curly stuff sometimes used to tie a journal shut or little pieces of embellishments.

    • @myporchprints-junkjournalt5340
      @myporchprints-junkjournalt5340  7 місяців тому

      We use a few different things: lace, sari silk ribbon, seam binding ribbon, twine, hemp string, etc. Hope that helps!

    Really Love it 💕 What do you do with all the journals? Do you keep them or give them away?

    • @myporchprints-junkjournalt5340
      @myporchprints-junkjournalt5340  7 місяців тому

      Most of them sit on display in the craft room until we pull them for reference. We've had some talks about selling them since there has been interest, but we are still a little divided on that subject, so currently the shelf remains their happy home. :)

    Hello! It's a beautiful craftwork! I have a question: if I want to sew signatures with this stitch, I just have to follow the way you did your faux ones with the signatures in, is that correct?

    If you do all the left to right at once then go back and do the right stitches. \\\ then /// this way both sides look good. Less back tracking

      Hello! Down in the description box under the "Crafting Supplies We Use" section towards the bottom is a link for chip board die cuts. Unfortunately the one used here isn't sold any more, but you can find similar items with that link. Hope this helps!

    Can you share the size of that die cut frame, both outside dimensions and inside hole dimensions? I purchased a real pretty one but it is way too small. Thanks for any help you can offer?
