Tank littered with actual deficiencies, speed not being one of them, still takes a turbo in BOTH loadouts. It's getting to be a running joke. And don't say he took it for the engine power, on stream he called someone a muppet for thinking he took turbos for the engine power. Have to think a rotation device/vert stabs/gun laying drive would have been better.
The one thing missing was the detailed report showing the earnings I would like to know, because you cant make credits at tier 10 and I dont have enough tier 9s to know about them and tier 8 seems to be going the same way with you having to use premium or go backwards.
Do you carry over battle pass tokens from your to year? I know you keep them from season to season but someone said you lose any extra ones in the new year. Edit: yes

We cant tell our boss that we are coming in 2-3 hours late because we had to research which tank to pick in world of tanks or just pull 2-3 hours out of the calendar to do these kind of things. I would rather have a short video with 2-4 min on each tank and what they play like in comparison to other tanks, because then i can use my free time playing world of tanks, rather than having to look all kinds of things up.

(just a video idea)

All they had to do to make this tank was take the AMX M4 51, remove the hull, put it on a Lorr 40t hull and then done, you got a fast tank with good turret and a good cannon... But nooooo they had to go completely ruin every single other statistic too, not just the armor.
TBH the Loraine 50t turret is fairly accurate design than the m4-51 of it although it was introduced this tank turret but it was mounted in AMX 50B hull and its historicaly accurate blueprint design way back in 2011-13 if I'm remember correctly and it's officially top tier new branch of french heavy tank but it wasn't.
WG models the edges or terrain wrong all the time allowing tanks to shoot through ground in some places and not able to shoot through air in others. It depends on the location but the hitboxes are troubled.
that would make it OP.. listen.. imagine Malinovka hill, this tank shifts meta by getting there first with more HP and strong turret to hold it until your team arrives and finds themselves in a better position.. this tank is not something very enjoyable, but strong in terms of key positions and certain situations
@@enjin5807 Presuming your example is the best case scenario of being top tier, your speed wouldn't even make much of a difference unless the whole of the enemy team are super heavies lol. You're not the only one fast tank at tier 9. Any of the Russians are quick, the emil 2 exists, concept 1b is there. And if it's tier 10 then it's completely irrelevant cause things like the 277 or is7 are just as fast, and others like the kranvagn or VZ have no trouble keeping up either. This tank wasn't even that good in it's prime let alone after wg nerfed it into oblivion like they did with the cobra. A 20% dpm buff like the original commenter mentioned would still just make it a less practical worse conqueror. And considering the other reward heavies that we have at tier 9, like the ae phase 1 or the concert, this thing just mad sucks xd

On the Lorraine 40t as well it has this feature, they were designed to be able to drive in populated areas without tearing up the roads, and then were able to have the tracks put on to cross rough terrain
Hey Quickybaby pretty sure this tank is faster with Grousers than Turbo. Common mistake but is usually the case with tanks that can't reach top speed because of power to weight. I think you sometimes overlook Grousers for someone who loves mobility so much. Love the content & thanks for the entertainment.
I think you're right - its faster with Grousers, but logic is wrong. Its the ground resistance that prevents tanks from reaching their top speed....on flat hard terrain tanks should eventually reach their top speed eventually if ground resistance is discounted. So tanks with OK hp/t but bad ground resistance are better off with grousers, where tanks with low hp/t and low max speed are better off with turbo.
No, at least if you already have the first actual field mod with grousers your tank on medium terrain only caps out at 60, while if you use the turbo in the same setup you’ll cap out at around 61.28 km/h

Unrelated to the video, but i was thinking about a game mode where players would make their own tanks, lets say you are given max 50 mm plates and you have to place them around and angle them. Then players would compete with their designs, and then the best player/design would have their design become a tank in game.

Based on what I've seen so far, I'd rather save up my tokens and get the Cobra first, then grab this one if I get sufficient tokens. I have all the other tanks, so I don't have anything better to spend the tokens on. I guess I could get bounty equipment, but I'd rather just get the tanks and then not have to worry about unlocking them in the future.
I like the added realism of not sighting through the gun, but actually using the gunsight. But if they put too much realism in the game, HE would actually explode, E-25s would have lousy view range, the Japanese super-heavies could not move off of paved surfaces...
How this thing should be buffed: Increase the side hull armor so it can't be overmatched by up to 130mm guns but keep the weak-ish side turret armor. Make the gun handing a little better. Mostly though, increase the Alpha to 420 damage and decrease the reload from 14 to at least 11.5 or 12 seconds, my god what where they fucking thinking with a 14 second reload with no upside??? With that though, the gun would have similar DPM to the other reward tanks and probably wouldn't be that bad. To be honest, it would be nice to also get some mobility buffs for this as well but in my mind this is the bare minimum of what MUST be change to at least make this tank remotely worth the effort.
That's not how QA works. QA can find and report an issue. In most cases, they find 95% of all the bugs you see in a game. But programmers (sometimes), and project managers (most of the time), decide to defer the fix for later because the effort to fix it would delay a release, or require all new rounds of testing which take time. For example, the Skyrim bug where giants send you flying into the sky; that was found about 5 minutes after developers released giants into the builds. And a senior dev responded to the bug ticket with, "leave it. It's funny". That's the actual response, because I saw the ticket when I worked there. I work in the game industry now as a programmer, but I started off as a manual tester. So that's my 2 cents.
This tank is total garbage. Why would anyone choose this tank with only 1,788 base DPM and 400 alpha, when there are 18 tier IX heavies with 400 or more alpha and 2,200 or more DPM. You can play the M103 with 2,500 DPM and 400 alpha, or even the Emil II with 2,600 DPM with a 3 shot autoloader with 440 alpha per shot, and 1,320 alpha per magazine. The M103 has 40% more DPM with the same alpha, and the Emil has 45% more DPM with 10% more alpha per shot. The Emil II only has a 24.5 second reload for 1,360 damage per magazine, while the Lorraine has a 13.4 second reload for 400 single-shot damage. The Lorraine is a little faster, but both tanks have comparable speed and mobility. Out of all tier IX heavies, only the WZ-114 has lower DPM at 1,658.
It's weird, WG seems to design French tanks to be more and more horrible lately. The AMX 30 Alt Proto isn't worthy of its marathon pain-in-the-arse grind. And now this Lorraine-wanna-be is complete BS. What the heck? What's the point of having a reward/premium vehicle that's 10 times worse than its tech tree counterpart?

I did and I don’t care I don’t want to worry about doing the pass later because I have other games to play my premium stuff plus I really liked it ramming low tiers does make me smile although rhm shouldn’t be a good idea unless good trade for you And the gun is perfect 👍 for blocking body shots it’s chunky but for sure if you own everything else then the tank is just for collecting I’m hoping they do unbuff give it back that better speed it had in first place

Basically, the only good game you can have in this tank is if your team really dies out slowly and the game lasts very long and the enemies are just sitting in front of you while you are hull down (the only way WG knows how to make tanks is to make them hull down) This is not worth a slot in your garage, let alone gold or time spent playing the game
FYI - you can only buy one piece of Bounty equipment - so don't think you can spend all your points on that. Once you purchase 1 piece of Bounty equipment the option disappears!

Considering the current political situation regarding Russia and its' current.... need I say more? I wrote a long (somewhat political) post, and then decided, no. I deleted it. Let's go simple. I know this is your livelihood but, ... Russian game. A game that glorifies warfare (with, I think it's fair to say, a particularly Russian bias). Games - The whole world has withdrawn from participating in any game; athletic/football, etc. related interactivity with Russia. And yet you are still playing WoT. You have two options as I see it. 1) Quit playing (personally, financially painful), for now - until the current political situation normalises. 2) The 'pussy' option - continue playing but don't play, mention, feature, refer to, anything Russian, tankish. It's on your conscience. As I implied, a fan, until now......?
WG is a Belarussian company (registered HQ in Cyprus), with offices in Kyiv and moving out from Minsk (if it didn't happen yet). They have also fired SerB for supporting Russia and they've also donated 1 million to Ukrainian Red Cross already. They are obviously against Russia's actions. What's the issue? _ Playing World of Tanks is not glorifying warfare, it's a videogame. Where arcadey tanks are shooting each other in a mini arena for a couple of minutes. It's not going to incite any warmongering feelings in anyone. Just like playing GTA does not make me go out, shooting people and stealing cars. But if your conscience feels better about not playing a game and think you're doing someting important, go on. You're not forced to do it.

Notice how the Lorraine 50t has rubber tyres for roadwheels so the tracks can be removed and it can be driven like a truck!

If they're going to make it realistic in making the gunner's sight not centered, they should show the outline of the gun to your left.

Based on what I've seen so far, I'd rather save up my tokens and get the Cobra first, then grab this one if I get sufficient tokens. I have all the other tanks, so I don't have anything better to spend the tokens on. I guess I could get bounty equipment, but I'd rather just get the tanks and then not have to worry about unlocking them in the future.
I like the added realism of not sighting through the gun, but actually using the gunsight. But if they put too much realism in the game, HE would actually explode, E-25s would have lousy view range, the Japanese super-heavies could not move off of paved surfaces...
That's something that WT or ARMA should do, not a game where tanks have hit points

How this thing should be buffed: Increase the side hull armor so it can't be overmatched by up to 130mm guns but keep the weak-ish side turret armor. Make the gun handing a little better. Mostly though, increase the Alpha to 420 damage and decrease the reload from 14 to at least 11.5 or 12 seconds, my god what where they fucking thinking with a 14 second reload with no upside??? With that though, the gun would have similar DPM to the other reward tanks and probably wouldn't be that bad. To be honest, it would be nice to also get some mobility buffs for this as well but in my mind this is the bare minimum of what MUST be change to at least make this tank remotely worth the effort.

That's not how QA works. QA can find and report an issue. In most cases, they find 95% of all the bugs you see in a game. But programmers (sometimes), and project managers (most of the time), decide to defer the fix for later because the effort to fix it would delay a release, or require all new rounds of testing which take time.
For example, the Skyrim bug where giants send you flying into the sky; that was found about 5 minutes after developers released giants into the builds. And a senior dev responded to the bug ticket with, "leave it. It's funny". That's the actual response, because I saw the ticket when I worked there. I work in the game industry now as a programmer, but I started off as a manual tester. So that's my 2 cents.
This tank is total garbage. Why would anyone choose this tank with only 1,788 base DPM and 400 alpha, when there are 18 tier IX heavies with 400 or more alpha and 2,200 or more DPM. You can play the M103 with 2,500 DPM and 400 alpha, or even the Emil II with 2,600 DPM with a 3 shot autoloader with 440 alpha per shot, and 1,320 alpha per magazine. The M103 has 40% more DPM with the same alpha, and the Emil has 45% more DPM with 10% more alpha per shot. The Emil II only has a 24.5 second reload for 1,360 damage per magazine, while the Lorraine has a 13.4 second reload for 400 single-shot damage. The Lorraine is a little faster, but both tanks have comparable speed and mobility. Out of all tier IX heavies, only the WZ-114 has lower DPM at 1,658.
It's weird, WG seems to design French tanks to be more and more horrible lately. The AMX 30 Alt Proto isn't worthy of its marathon pain-in-the-arse grind. And now this Lorraine-wanna-be is complete BS.

WG always break rule physic in real life. like this tank has huge turret but long reload, Yoh tank has fast reload, tornvagn fast reload. And I hate it when side view gun port and where the barrel, its happen my WZ1-4 aim at hull but hit dead barrel.

I did and I don’t care I don’t want to worry about doing the pass later because I have other games to play my premium stuff plus I really liked it ramming low tiers does make me smile although rhm shouldn’t be a good idea unless good trade for you And the gun is perfect 👍 for blocking body shots it’s chunky but for sure if you own everything else then the tank is just for collecting I’m hoping they do unbuff give it back that better speed it had in first place

So bad, bad and more bad... Basically, the only good game you can have in this tank is if your team really dies out slowly and the game lasts very long and the enemies are just sitting in front of you while you are hull down (the only way WG knows how to make tanks is to make them hull down)
This is not worth a slot in your garage, let alone gold or time spent playing the game
If you're Free-to-Play, or Player-on-a-Budget, maybe buy one of the older premiums that are still relevant, and then bond equipment?

FYI - you can only buy one piece of Bounty equipment - so don't think you can spend all your points on that. Once you purchase 1 piece of Bounty equipment the option disappears!

No need to say you should NOT BUY those 2 new prem tanks. Choose the bond equipments or something else. QB could make it EASY from the beginning.

Russian game. A game that glorifies warfare (with, I think it's fair to say, a particularly Russian bias).
Games - The whole world has withdrawn from participating in any game; athletic/football, etc. related interactivity with Russia.
And yet you are still playing WoT.
You have two options as I see it.
1) Quit playing (personally, financially painful), for now - until the current political situation normalises.
2) The 'pussy' option - continue playing but don't play, mention, feature, refer to, anything Russian, tankish.
It's on your conscience.

WG is a Belarussian company (registered HQ in Cyprus), with offices in Kyiv and moving out from Minsk (if it didn't happen yet). They have also fired SerB for supporting Russia and they've also donated 1 million to Ukrainian Red Cross already. They are obviously against Russia's actions. What's the issue?

Playing World of Tanks is not glorifying warfare, it's a videogame. Where arcadey tanks are shooting each other in a mini arena for a couple of minutes. It's not going to incite any warmongering feelings in anyone. Just like playing GTA does not make me go out, shooting people and stealing cars.
But if your conscience feels better about not playing a game and think you're doing someting important, go on. You're not forced to do it.
