If you're looking for something to enhance the experience after loads of playthroughs, I've found that knife runs do fairly well. The first time I did a knife run for any of the classic RE games, it was some of the greatest tension in all my time playing computer games. I have great memories from all of them, but the best was CV:X, as I had only played the Dreamcast one once, maybe ten years prior to the knife run, so I didn't remember it almost whatsoever. My particular favourite moment was when I had no health items or saves and I knifed a sweeper. I looked on the map to plan my escape route but overshot the door, so I jumped into the pool and kept running, never dreaming I'd be taking this fecker down. I grabbed something in the water, hoping for a health item but it wasn't. I took a couple of claw swipes getting out of the pool again, and then remembered that hunters and sweepers have poor turning speed, and that they seem to jump in this extreme way when they get up or down between surfaces of differing heights, so I ran a few paces from the edge of the pool, and then backed up as it jumped to where I'd been, and thus over my head. I knifed its legs until it went down. It started to get up but I kept going. Just as it was about to take off my head, it fell down dead. So terrifying, haha.
Thanks for your recurring support my friend! I'm looking forward to your writings, and when you have any more pictures you are willing to share, I'll be glad to use them. Maybe you could "move" your save room items to a different location? To create "another save room"?
Hahaha I remember you telling me that story ages ago :-D You are like Barry. Telling the same story to everyone over and over again (just kidding, it sounds like a really cool thrill!)
haha, yeah, I meant to mention that they may find that story elsewhere on your channel. Good first question. I don't have a favourite but I've written extensively on this in the past. Like ten-page analyses...when I have a moment I'll find wherever this question gets posted and answer it. Also, may I take a moment to say I think it's amazing how RE fans connect. I _love_ other series, but never get to connect with strangers so quickly over it. After months helping people in Fallout New Vegas forums, I get recognition but not a real repoire. Also, we all have RE in our avatars. Some more obvious than others but all four of us have it somewhere. Great stuff altogether.
With this song sometimes i think on Resident Evil, but then i have some Silent Hill's feel, then I click this song again and i have some Dino Crisis feel, but today i feel some kind of Heaven! A Heaven full of nostalgia. One of my favorite ambient tracks of all time! 😎
Amazing. Cross between Silent Hill and John Carpenter. Honestly, you can't go wrong here, people love to balance on the boarders of despair and wonder, in equal measure. You should get into Contact with John Carpenter and ask of you can use some of his samples, for films like The Fog, The Thing, Prince of Darkness etc. Put your own spin on it. Halloween music. Well done!
@@SurvivalSpheres I think ' hitoyobashi' is the most similar to this track specifically, but I think the melancholy vibe is what connects your music and the music from Mushishi

I love the RE8 save room theme! Just sad that the only real save room, at least in my opinion, could be found in the castle.
It feels good listening to this while on the treadmill. So relaxing
On the treadmill really? Ahahahaha!
@@SurvivalSpheres yeah just walking 🚶♂️ lol
Right now in my car on my radio im playing ur songs while driving to work, its great inspirational music for me, my creativity pops out with this, next to that it reminds me of all those great horror classics games aswell! Thanks once more for creating something uinique and special!
Thanks Stephan! I hope it sounds ok on a car radio. My tracks never experienced any proper mastering, so they sound very different on different audio systems. And at least from my perspective, of all places cars are the ones where things tend to sound the worst.
it sounds good for me to be honest, no complains. I just have standard speakers.
If the first movie was ever made into a game, this would be the theme. It has that underground lab feeling to it.
If anyone here knows what Resident Evil 3.5 is, your theme here woulda worked perfectly for it
Thanks! Btw I think here's noone who doesn't know about 3.5 :-D
@@SurvivalSpheres I guess, I'd love to hear your music in an actual survival horror game
feels much more silent hilly... I like it a lot
This is so calming to me I use this to color or read
Capcom should hire you for future games, if they ever wish to include dynamic save rooms again.
Oh my...oh my goodness...this is absolutely lovely my friend. Wow. Another amazing song in the bank. Wow again. It's very atmospheric & lonely. You can really feel the despair & mysteriousness in this one. Also the synth in this track is absolutely amazing sir. I LOVE synth. Thank you for everything. Please keep up the great work. Your work makes me want to get back to replaying the RE games, just finished Revelations 2 again recently, but I still have RE 4, 5, & 6 to replay again. Plus playing the HD REmake again is always a blast. Beat that one so many times and definitely plan on playing it again for many years to come. Patiently waiting for that Resident Evil 2 REmake along with being hopeful for HD REmakes of both 3 & Code Veronica. I'm also very inspired to get back to writing my Resident Evil short story collection I'm currently working on for fun. Music is so amazing. You music is all that & so much more because your music has layers upon layers of nostalgia induced melodies worked throughout the composition. Fantastic work. You always have my support man. :-)

Sweet idea! Would you be willing to take over that job (setting up a question) following my next upload?
haha, yeah, I meant to mention that they may find that story elsewhere on your channel.
Thanks man, it's an honour for me to read this from you. 'closes-eyes-smiles-and-nods-in-the-most-solemn-way'
YOOO, YOOOO!!!!
You got my subscribe immediately! Soo gooood!
Well done!
Tbh this would be a great silent hill ost but I love it keep it up❤️
Incredible track.
Excellent work!
A lot of your music, this especially, reminds me of the various ending tracks from mushishi
Unknown to me. Could you recommend a specific track?
@@SurvivalSpheres I think ' hitoyobashi' is the most similar to this track specifically, but I think the melancholy vibe is what connects your music and the music from Mushishi
@@coralanturn Sorry for being blind, but I can't find a track with that name by the searchwords "musashi" and "hitoyobashi".
@@SurvivalSpheres Found it for Ya, the video's id is v=T3C7QnL0md4 or just look up the Mushishi full ost. The english title is "The One Night Bridge". I'm not familiar with that anime title but it intrigued me.
I can hear in it some similarities to your work but in general yours fits horror genre better.
@@niemaszglowy Listening to it now, very sweet piece of music! Thanks for sharing, I will take a closer look at the score.
This should be the save room theme in the next RE fan made game
so relaxing i hope the uploader of this video is not dead
Nah, I'm still with ya^^
@@SurvivalSpheres than the Gods of racoon city
@@moonsdonut5188 Only now do I get your username, haha, good one!
@@SurvivalSpheres really your the only one that does I love 😅 and I also made the moons donuts avatar in my profile lol😆
@@moonsdonut5188 It's like a secret message to all Raccoon City tourists :-D
beautiful
This. This is really good. Thank you.
Thank you!
Love the Twin Peaks vibe on this!
Thanks! I remember the first time I noticed the TP influence was in the original RE2 save room. That low warm pad in the back, it is almost the same as the one used in Laura's theme.
Absolutely freaking love this 🧟♂️
This was perfectly made.
Really Great Music,Nice Job Making This!
Great.
Stay here for a min. It isn’t safe outside these doors. Well if you’re already dead set in leaving at least rest for a while. It looks like you haven’t gotten any sleep at all...
i honestly love this, this would defo be a res music. personally, it fits code veronica. it also sounds like something that would be in silent hill also.
I love to see this on my recomendations again and again, this is like my 3rd comment on this beautifull song, sorry for that xD but this its so perfect to hear every moment.
Drop as many comments as you like, I will smile every single time :-)
This is incredible.
Love this. Bit RE+DC+SH mixture to my ears.
Wow this is awesome dude.
