To give a bit more context, there's a save room in that game too and when you're in there there's relaxing music playing in the background. If you could do something there it would be cool

for some reason, in the height of the 2024 election cycle, where everything is literally on the line between surviving and utter annihilation, this type of haunting melody puts me at ease. i don't know why...

Hey, it’s me, back again with another personal take on the visuals. I’ll try not to be as long on this one as I was with Chris’ but no promises.
Now this visual is interesting to me. With Chris and Jill, they both have a typewriter to interact with, but Leon doesn’t here (at least, not one that I can see). And the way he’s sitting and looking at the rain through the window of some random house, it’s obvious to anyone that’s played RE4 where he is exactly. It’s kinda like he’s taking a short break, waiting for the rain to stop so that he can continue his mission, but also contemplating not just what he’s going through…but also what he’s been through. If timeline continuity is still a thing in the Remakes (been a while since I played RE4R so I’m not 100% on everything), this means Leon’s wondering to himself how he got here in the first place, he was just a rookie cop arriving at the right city in the wrong time, and now he’s a secret service agent searching for the President’s daughter. He probably wonders what would’ve happened if he actually listened to his superiors and stay out of Raccoon City like he was told, maybe he wouldn’t have to fight more of these monsters in Europe. Of course, it’s not like he can go back in time and make that choice again and even if he did…he wouldn’t have met Claire and Sherry, plus he would never have known about the conspiracy inside Umbrella and what they were REALLY up to. Sure, this wasn’t what he wanted in his life, but at least he can still do SOME good, like saving the president’s daughter for one. He knows he’s got a job to do, and he’ll still pull his weight no matter how quick his life took a turn, Leon gets as much of my respect as Chris did, they’re both good men who’ve been put in terrible positions, but at least they try to make the most of it
