EXCELLENT. I love it how he is one of the few tenors who actually sings Dolcissimo on the high A of "Un dolce ristoro". So many tenors BLAST through that particular moment just to show off their high As, destroying the line.
His voice is beautiful, great mix of registers; something very difficult to achieve but so perfect for Mozart. It makes any lack of legato seem meaningless. Great artistry!
@w8lz: One might argue that what constitutes legato singing in Classical Opera is something rather different than the much more fluid legato that developed in later bel canto opera. Still I agree that this is not his best performance of this aria.
Che meraviglia! Più l' ascolto , più mi piace e mi commuove...

@goto41 I heard him as Eisenstein (Die Fledermaus) last year in Vienna (Theater an der Wien). Brilliant voice and excellent performance

This aria was better sung 'and more relased) at Paris the year before.
LOL for the last remark. He's getting on a bit in age now, though...43!
The wheels stopped turning but the hamster's dead
No matter who sings it. The music is Mozart and magical. I happen to like this but prefer Stuart Burrows version.
He often doesn't sing legato... "un au-h-ura amoro-h-osa... teso-h-oro..." I don't like that... Sorry.
Zertifizierte Intergalaktischen!
Che voce cristallina!
