Thanks for the video. I'm heading out full time this April and my first workamping job will be Adventureland. I can't wait to try that crab rangoon pizza!
I live in Iowa and work for the photography at Adventureland, the weather sucks during the summer lol. Kinda interesting to hear the difference between ALand workers and us photography people lol
Soon to be hitting the road and my buddy Jorge Hernandez has been keeping me informed about Adventureland. He and his wife both work there during the season.
Outdoorstaycations They do hire young adults as young as 14 and yes I worked with several people who had spouses that did not work at the park however I believe that in doing so you are not eligible for the end of season bonus. Hope that helps and good luck. 😀🙁
Clay Guinard I met them at the Big Tent in Quartzsite. They also advertise on workamper.com Adventureland is a family owned and run amusement park in the Midwest state of Iowa. Lots of fun. 😀
Clay Guinard My goal is to travel as much as possible so I never do any job longer than 4 months. I have done several jobs since I left the oil fields.
So, theoretically a person could work at Adventure Land 1-day a week and get the free space then? You didn't mention that you had to work "x" amount of hours per week to stay there for free. Then you could find another job nearby that paid more per/hour.
AKWolf1 Thanks so much for watching. Things change year to year due to business needs. As I understand it this year they are looking for full time workers. When I was there last year I worked 25 hours per week and could have easily worked another job. I’m just not sure what their definition of full time is. Hope that helps. I would reach out to Gary Pardekooper who is the HR head to verify. 🤗🤗
Very informative video about Adventureland. Thanks
Thanks for watching and Good Luck in the future 😁
Love working at Adventureland! Staff are fantastic.

Leonard Marlborough Safe travels. 😀😀
Curious at Adventureland is it expected that all adults in the RV are going to work there? Do you know if they hire workampers with kids?
