- A taste of Burma - Yangon street food is everywhere, spicy, interesting. I make a random sample of some of the delights on offer. You might want to give the chicken anus a miss :)
I was in Burma in November to visit and my parents can speak that language obviously!
Your presentation make me very hungry and I miss my home town.. but eating home make are more fresh, clean and dust free. Especially, if you live in foreign countries, your tummy be a problem eating street foods randomly in Burma. But very nice to watch.. thanks for your great presentation and passion..
Thanks Henry and you are right because that's exactly what I got later on -- an upset tummy :)
thank you for sharing - look forward to visiting Yangon one day soon...

Beautiful Myanmar
तिम्रो मनमा लुकेको कुरा नभने पनि सम्झी दिनेलाई भुली दिनेलाई मायाँत् मायाँ हो........ मायाँत् मायाँ हो !
Ranjit Lingden hahaha😂😃😄
There are a lot of Burmese living in my apartment building. No matter if it is time for breakfast or dinner, on a sunday or a thurday their cooking always smells the same. Like a wet dog rolled in chilli powder. Nice people though.
Hahaha I love it
4:04 : its cè zu tin ba deh. you mixed it with hello for cè zu tim ba la
always nice to try. im learning it right now myself, it aint easy !
+Simon Boudreau you can say that again ! What does just ce zu on its own mean? Sometimes that's all I could remember
+Ishnum Munshi actually, i'm not sure! i know the shorter version, less polite/formal is cè zu be. i dont know exactly what every part of it mean tho sorry! maybe in another 2 weeks ;)
+Simon Boudreau Great that you're trying to learn it. Thanks for the info
"cè zu" (actually pronounced "Kyay Zu") , on its own, means gratitude.
"cè zu tin ba deh" (actually pronounced "Kyay Zu tin par tae") means "Thank you" or "I am grateful".
Its tempting ...but is burma safe to visit?
Prob is alot of post trauma people there who suffered the insanity of war ...
It's safe enough - but beware when crossing any road ! The people seemed happy although undoubtedly many have suffered. I think most are just relieved to see Burma starting to come back within the international community again after so many years in isolation.
ish munshi thx man il consider it then...btw is the food better than in thailand? and is it cheap? How is cost of living. ?
starcopper x I'd say the food is a lot spicier and a bit hit and miss. I got sick after eating something dodgy, but that can happen anywhere. Generally its very cheap but they are taking advantage of tourists and raising the cost of hotels a lot. Travel is very cheap.
Yes i go every year to visit my grand parents going next month!

Peace & prosperity to people of Myanmar! Plain truths about this beautiful nation, google 'Long-Live Indochina/WorldAffairs/ChinaDailyForum' .
Wow the women here are beautiful 😍
Especially the one wearing pruple in the beginning
This is so weird for me to see. I have been to Bangladesh and also to Thailand and the two countries are very different. I know that cultures change gradually from one country to the next but this is the first time I have actually put the changes together. Burma is almost exactly a 50/50 mix of Bangladesh and Thailand. It is exactly what I expected but so very strange to see. I would so love to visit Burma now thanks to this video :)
Thanks. I've also been to eastern India and Thailand and found Burma to be, as you say, just what you'd expect - an interesting transitional stage between the two.
And the last civilization Malaysia
Never dated a Burmese girl
Try Kevin it might be nice
