I have the same i-Pilot in video. When inserting batteries it turns on and may function briefly controlling the motor then report “RF error” and shuts down. I restart it again same issue then it locks up in the start up screen and won’t shut off with out removing batteries. I dissembled it and I cannot see any corrosion. If you still repair these I could send it to you for a look-see, maybe repair, maybe for parts.
Mine also started doing that. It also sometimes will turn off and turn back on by itself then it won't respond. It'll just stay on until I take out the battery. Any Idea what that might be?
Already like this guy because he is taking it apart win or loose I LIKE IT
Do you have any idea if they make a replacement screen mine went out on my remote .So I can replace it.

Did it pair with a motor?
Any update for us?
I am not sure you showed that it's repairable. At the end you said you weren't sure if it was actually fixed or just temporarily
Did this exact "fix" with no luck.
