I think has it much better researched. This video was so enlightening. I wish there were a few videos that everyone knew to watch before getting started. Where does he even find out that Aura only raises base stats and skills raise them all?
Hi Hell Hades, Those tips are really cool. Can you give us some tips about "what content to do in mid game" too ? I'm currently stucked with Brutal boss, can go over spider 14 (and other bosses too), my champ roaster is limited to 9 champs, it's really hard to to something during events or tournaments... I've realized my only issue, for the moment, is too extend my roaster : I still don't have decrease aoe champ, still don't have good stuffs for my 9 champs. I don't know if any other players feel the same as me, but I guess I need some goals like : * You should fuse Rhazin * Should you level warmaiden now or just wait Valla * Do not loose time on tournaments and events if you cannot reach nice rewards * What is a nice reward ? * In your roaster you should have at least : "one champ that can do this, one that can do that, one that ..." * Do not lose your gems (a little key to have a nice reward... take some energy to finish the mission "Dude, you could wait tommorow") * Don't buy the stuff on market (or buy it ... dunno xD) * You should wait your 1d XP boost, use all the gem you can that day to maximize this rewards * When you have no xp boost : you should just make your campaign on easy mode to save energy on the daily quests, go farm the dragon (or minotaur or I don't know what is better ? Spider ?) Well, sometimes I feel I'm a bit lost. But, everyday, I take a lot of pleasure watching your videos. You are a nice speaker (I appreciate you don't speak too fast, because I'm french and my english is "bof bof"). Your tips are gold (clan boss strategies, how to beat). I'm a big fan of "accounts takeover". You're like "Marie Kondo" for me. Those videos are interesting because "whatever the roaster, you have solutions". Well... this comment is alreay too long, sorry youtube, sorry HH (one more H and I will call your "The Cerebral Assassin" ... I'm too tired for jokes, sorry youtube again, don't hate me). Please, continue your great work and ready to 20k subscribers.
I believe the hardest decision in the midgame is what to farm 1st and when to switch. Eg. you have a decent dragon team with 5* gear with the right primary and ok secondary rolls. you get up to dragon 18 consistently but cannot break into dragon 20 (at leas for auto farming). So what you do is you move on to spider. Because you have basically no jewelry yet. So you level up a few decent champs for the spider. You hit a wall at 15 or whatever and with the jewelry can go back to the dragon to build a dragon 20 auto team. A couple of good drops later you go to fire knight to get stun gear to help auto spider or whatever... so these kinds of progression decisions. What is you take on those? Too dependent on champions draws to make a video guide? Tldr: How to break the infinite loop of mediocracy ;P
Farming dragon and spider will enable runs anywhere else in the game. Even farming 17. So that should become the priority once you have a good selection of champs
Hell Hades I can auto dragon15 with 4 champs but can’t do 16. Spider is at 10 due to my selection of champions. Keeps and other dungeons are 13-15. 8m hard cb, 4-5 brutal. Should I keep farming dragon until I get more gear and champs from shards?
Is it worth farming nightmare campaign to e.g. get the good pieces of 6* speed or lifesteal gear? Ofc you can only get blue pieces at best, but dragon drops all those sets you probably don't want and just sell.
I'm half way through my 4th month playing Raid but after researching dozens of videos and texts, I must say that although I was aware of some of your tips, the detail you give is some of the best information I've seen so far. I wish I found this video 6mths ago when it was posted. Cheers from Ontario Canada.
I think that the fact that I know all of these is a great sign and a good reason to have watched this video. Shows I'm on the right track almost entirely because of you haha
Thank you for this great video! I've been playing for approximately a month and this was the most informative video to help so far with some common questions I've held onto. Some other UA-camrs like to beat around the bush...you helped a lot more in just 1 video.
I'm a new subscriber, have browsed other channels for Raid tips... And You have been the most helpful by far, And I've only watched maybe three of your videos! Thank you! I've been playing for a while and well I thought I had a fairly good grasp on the way things worked... Let's just say I'm glad I happened upon your channel 😊😊
Omg this is so useful. Thank you for taking the time. I am at mid game and need to learn so much more let alone reinforce what I already know. I want more content lessons, although I do not know what to ask for if I don’t know it. This is like going to Raid SL class.
In my humble opinion, Hell Hades, you are a top raid analyst. I regularly watch tons of popular raid bloggers both english and russian speaking and I can definitely tell that your particular way of analysis, your explanations, your tips are by far the most impactful and valuable. Plus the British accent. Absolutely fabulous.
Gems!!! Thank you for the short course...this definitely will change the way i play RSL, the way I choose champs for line up, the way how I even love RSL more than other games outside!!! Keep up the good work! Autosub!!!
Another awesome video, I believe that being level 58 now, I should be around that “mid game”. I did learn a lot and I thank you for that. I lost hope on being blessed with an account takeover from you, knowing you have a lot of takers, but since I am nearing the end of progress missions, gaining this kind of knowledge will help me get there one day. I have to say that your video on Dragon teams was massive for me. I have to grind speed/acc/ls gear quite a lot, and my team can now do Dragon 20 in around 3:30! For me that’s great, specially if you think I do not have Legendaries yet or counter attack. I still have no idea how I can do 20 on the other dungeons, but I hope I can manage it later on. My nmcb team is now doing 3/4 keys, also because of your videos. Sorry for such a long post, but I really wanted to leave a big shout out to you, for I have improved so much from your videos, you have no idea. And if you have more account takeovers out for grabs, please consider me as an eternal candidate 😉
Hey, just a heads up regarding same-speed champs at 19:00. If two champs have the same speed, it goes off their position order, not base speed. For example... Fellhound: Speed 111 (Base 92) Steelskull: Speed 111 (Base 111) Because Fellhound is my farmer and leader, he goes first. Swapping the two forces Steelskull to go first. The same thing applies in CB. I was trying to get Rhazin (base 91) to go before Martyr (base 93), but with gear they were tied in speed. Putting Rhazin before her in position order allowed him to go first and get two turns of CA
Well since u specifically asked to let u know in the video... STOP WASTING OUR TIME!!! Jk...lol Great stuff again! I’ve been playing the game for almost a year and consider myself pretty knowledgeable. But I honestly didn’t know the subtle difference between how freeze and stun gear worked. Thanks for taking the time to make this video for the community 👍🏽 certainly helped me!
This is another great video. Even though most of your viewers should know these things by watching your other videos, it’s nice to have all in one place
This literally deals with end game. I'd love to learn what sort of Stat goals I can realistically be aiming for at account lvl 30-40. Cheers. I love your work mate
Im 5 months into the game, and went back to see this video. Good stuff to have reinforced. I just learned teh turn order thing for Counterattack abotu a month ago.
another solid video! i think my own midgame issues are how to more efficiently farm up better gear, when to start re-gearing my champions, and who to re-gear first. thanks again for the vid!! (i want an acct takeover!!!)
Hellhades u truly are a raid guru!! Thank u for the wonderful insights. I love your channel more than Stew and Darth anyday. Please do more videos. I'm gonna be a regular on your channel from now on. Lots of love from India ❤️❤️❤️
Love your vids! Great job! Your Tomb Lord vid helped me with spider tremendously. Anyways, another thing I wanted to bring up that some might not know is boosting the turn meter. It kind of goes along with the speed part. The turn meter can be boosted past 100% and if multiple champs are boosted past, the highest one goes first. But some confusion on that that I noticed is that some thought it could keep getting boosted. Once it goes over 100% it can't be boosted anymore.
Here you have, a new subscriber. I'm so happy to find your channel. After watching your collaboration with Chofly it was a MUST to follow you. Thanks for you content, is really useful. Keep going bro!
Thanks for the tip Hades, they gave me a lot of insight into Raid and gave me a lot to consider when gearing and picking gear to keep. I also didn't know that Crit and res affected champion power either.
thanks for the videos. keep up the good work. they have helped me progress a lot. specially in dragons, i could only do dragon 13 on auto. now i can do stage 16.
@@HellHades first of all. Thanks for not just listening, but you are actually doing something with it. So ive watched the vid, and I did enjoy it. Outside the fact I didnt learn much new. It might be just me, since I have quiet some knowledge about the same sort of game. The things id love to learn ; i have reached IceGolem ; 10 / dragons 12 / FireKnight 10. Spider 9. What would you suggest, okay its now time to focus on ice golem or... its now time to focus on arena. Its time to focus on making a clan boss team who can do minimum 10 mil on hard. Im just saying random stuff. To give you an idea what my question is. Thanks again!
@@14tristan14 my priority would be ensure you have enough quality 60s, 2. Ascend them, 3. Get masteries, 4 get gear. Focus drag and spider, forget others for now
Thanks for the contents. I really learned a lot from the vid. There's one thing I'm a little skeptical about which is the value of stacking DEF. Many probably know that DEF has a diminishing return on damage reduction. Though the exact function is not disclosed by Plarium, some quant-head veterans have approximated the math relationship to be DR% = DEF/ (DEF+1500) which is a concave function for DEF>0. There's no doubt about stacking DEF on a DEF champion as it boosts both the offensive and defensive potentials. However, as long as the damage mitigation is concerned, choosing HP is almost always gonna yield a better mitigation result when choosing between equal percentage increases of HP and DEF. This is not only because HP growth is unaffected by the diminishing return which grows at a flat rate, but the game has a better HP to Effective Hit Point (EHP) ratio than DEF to EHP. EHP is defined as the maximum of damage taken before going down after having accounted for the effect of damage reduction. Mathematically, EHP = HP/ (1-DR%). For DEF champs, DEF is undoubtedly the priority. Yet, for non-DEF champs, opting between DEF and HP should be taken a second thought, I suppose.
Hey Hell Hades, fairly new to new Raid but I've just recently started watching your videos and love the content. I have two questions I'm hoping you can help me out with: 1.With the Auras and Skills part; If there was a 25% Def Buff Aura up and you use a skill like Def up 60% does it buff the max stats or the max stats after the Aura boosts the main stats? 2.With the Acc/Res part: How do the Acc and Res stats work exactly? -Ex 1: I fought Hard Clan Boss today (I'm 23 days in and 1 key easy and 3 key Normal for max chests but some whack job in my clan used like 15 keys and killed Easy and Normal boss for 3-4x Max chest 10:38value and hit hard a bit before i could get out of bed) and my level 40 Outlaw Monk laid 1 poison because one was resisted with ACC on what i understand to be a 70 ACC requirement for Hard CB. -Example two which is even more puzzling; As i said i usually fight Easy/Normal CB and my Kael has a 111 ACC (plus 133 ACC on A3 with Charged Focus Mastery) and I've been resisted on Easy and Normal, which i understand to be a recommended 20/50 ACC (really hard to find stat requirements for these CB's). HOW? lol. 2.1. Are you basically rolling a dice with as many sides as you have of ACC/RES? If so does that mean your Warord for example (ua-cam.com/video/UldsBOT45JI/v-deo.html -10:38) with 480 RES, could he drop a roll to a 40 ACC Outlaw Monk? Again love the content, can't wait to dive into more of it tomorrow. Hope all is well, thanks for everything!
Good video as always! I hope you too get Plarium shout out soon! One thing I would like to know is how much accuracy I need on each CB difficulty? The CB speed requirement chart you presented was extremely helpful but I couldn’t find similar ones for ACC.
That's disputed in the community. Some say 260 others 300+ for unm.. That being said vs nm my Jareg has been resisted against void so no affenity disadvantage having 320. But only twice. I remember on a video from plarium they said no matter what resist or acc the other party can place/defend its just rarely when the numbers are in your favor. I've also heard cb resist will clime over time just as his dmg does. It's generally fair to say you should start at the lower end then push it up until your not getting resisted very often. But don't think just because it happens rarely your too low.
Hi hades I am spanish and I want a tell you that you are incredible because first for me you are the best gamer of raid an two because I am spanish and I see more videos yours than spanish thank you for help you are incredible good video
@Hell Hades - Awesome vid as always mate. Had a doubt regarding the CA turn order tip - if the champ in position 1 always counter-attacks first then why not place a champ with decrease def or weaken first (say Rhazin) because that would increase the damage of all the subsequent counter-attacks.
great video! Another tip - chance of placing debuff by multihit skills - it seems that sometimes each hit counts (kael's poisons) and sometimes the attack is taken as a whole (Veteran A1)
Thanks for the information. I was great stuff. You have answered my mid game questions. One additional question, How do you know what gear work best with a champion?
From what I understand is 3500 Def is the starting point for deminishing returns. Just incase you don't receive a response from anyone else. I'd say go for 3k-3.5 Def then HP
Really helpful video, thanks for uploading this. I've been wondering what influences the power numbers for champions, and what impact these numbers have in terms of damage.
Hi there. Love the content. I'm a relatively new player. Just pulled blind seer. Any tips on gearing/masteries/uses would be awesome. She's my first legendary. Happy days!!
Solid tips for mid game hades! I’m trying to progress and finding holes in my roster and trying to patch them up. Surprise surprise having trouble moving forward on spider.
Great tips, couple I didn't know. Also took me way too long to click the great hall upgrades were global and not just for arena fights :) You mentioned 220 ish for ACC end game PVP but what do the last 3 clan boss need along with the final dungeons? I'd also like to know the hit rates for getting champions as rewards for campaign missions. It seems to same for normal through to brutal so wondering of farming normal would make more sense if only for those? Cheers
DEF > HP is oversimplified. DEF is better for champs you want to get attacked and champs that scale damage off of it. But HP is perhaps the largest factor in who the AI chooses to target. My synthesis of this information is that you should stack HP on champs that you don't want to be targeted.
Another thing I just learned recently is that there's a big difference between freeze, stun and sleep.I knew that sleep can be broken but I didn't know that frozen enemies take 75% of incoming damage while stunned champions take 100% of the incoming damage.
I’m so glad I went back and watched this again. I’ve had my Thenasil and OB n both hp% gloves AND hp% chest piece. Thenasil bc his heal is based off his max hp. But I switched Thenasil to a def% chest and he does so much better n cb. I’ve been playin for almost 2 years now and I was still fuckin up this whole time. Lol
Mate, your Great Hall looks scary, so much gold, it hurts my eyes :))) My question is, when someone like Apothecary boosts both turn meter and speed, does the change in speed also affect the turn meter at the start of the fight?
Always love the vids, thank you for your time enlightening, at least, myself. I did not know about the counterattack order (even though I don't have any of those champs yet), I will keep that in the back of my head. I do have a question. When do you not gear a character for 100% crit rate? Obviously other than supports/turn meter manipulators/buff/debuffers? I see quite a few champs in your vids and from more of our other favorite UA-camrs that have a lower crit rate and super high crit damage. Shouldn't the rate be there to guarantee the extra damage? I know I'm missing something here. Would love any more insight you have.
Very nice and informative Video and so I got 2 follow up Questions: 1. is 4500 Defence the turning when I should switch to Defence or 4500 +60% (7200) so for exp. if I could have def. up 60% on my Champs all the time should I start to more heavily invest in hp after hitting 3000 def. (4800 with def. up) 2. I think you mentionted that the percentage for stun Sleep and Freeze gear is not effected by acc. or resistence meaning it stays by 18% for stun no matter the stats on the attacker and attacked, did I get this Right?^^
+Hell Hades+ If two champions in a team have identical speed, the champion turn order is dictated the same as counterattacks, via slot placement. Separately I have noticed an exception to counterattack order while running dungeons with teams that aren't speed tuned. The anomaly occurs where in a series of turns, the champions that did not take a turn prior to a boss AoE will counterattack first. *For example* - champions 1 through 4 take a turn before the boss strikes ... champion 5 will counterattack first.

* Don't buy the stuff on market (or buy it ... dunno xD)
* You should wait your 1d XP boost, use all the gem you can that day to maximize this rewards
* When you have no xp boost : you should just make your campaign on easy mode to save energy on the daily quests, go farm the dragon (or minotaur or I don't know what is better ? Spider ?)

I enjoy the use of “roaster” in place of roster given the feeding of champions to other champions has such a morbidly central place in this game! 😂

they have helped me progress a lot. specially in dragons, i could only do dragon 13 on auto. now i can do stage 16.
Outstanding video with great explaining!
Sub'd! I really like the content here.
I'm a low spend player currently in mid-game that really appreciated this video.
Hope the channel keeps growing for you homie, love the content, keep up the great work!
Excellent tips! I've been playing the game for months and didn't know some of them..
Thank you for this it was very helpful for a new early/mid game player! :)
Man of your word! Thanks I have been waiting for this! Now let me enjoy
i listen and i try my best :D
Focus drag and spider, forget others for now
21min.. I see you!!! J/k I greatly appreciate your knowledge!!! It has helped me tremendously!!!!
I’ve been playing a few months and that was very useful thanks.
Really good, been playing ages and didn't know thanks mate
I have two questions I'm hoping you can help me out with:
1.With the Auras and Skills part; If there was a 25% Def Buff Aura up and you use a skill like Def up 60% does it buff the max stats or the max stats after the Aura boosts the main stats?
Theres a section in my discord for all this info mate.
@@HellHades I just joined and saw that! Super helpful, thanks for the info
Awesome vid. Thank you so much for this. Exactly what I needed.
Great info, keep it coming
Hi hades I am spanish and I want a tell you that you are incredible because first for me you are the best gamer of raid an two because I am spanish and I see more videos yours than spanish thank you for help you are incredible good video
Great video, I learned so much from this
@Hell Hades - Awesome vid as always mate. Had a doubt regarding the CA turn order tip - if the champ in position 1 always counter-attacks first then why not place a champ with decrease def or weaken first (say Rhazin) because that would increase the damage of all the subsequent counter-attacks.
My favorite part of your channel is the deadpan serious delivery of things like "this is how you subscribe to a channel on UA-cam" lol
great video!
Wud have never known about all this! Thx for the great vid and presentation!
Great info.. great advice
Cheers for the tips. I just didn't know about the counter attack order, or even the thing about the stun / sleep sets.
Thank you.
From what I understand is 3500 Def is the starting point for deminishing returns.
Just incase you don't receive a response from anyone else. I'd say go for 3k-3.5 Def then HP
Thanks so much, very nice content!
Happy days!!
i did subscribe after he said it. here u go. keep up the good work :)
I loved this video, so helpful !!!
Another nice video HH,
Just a quick question, is Aothar good and worth to book?
Really great detailed content as always. wished it was you who raid gave a shout out to more players need to see your content its really a big help
Thanks maybe 1 day
Good stuff..keep it up m8
Another great video, hope Plarium will put you in the spotlight after Stew
That is a very beautifull great hall, all yellow and blue.
i didnt click the bell ever, but u are the one that deserve that
Thanks, I learned a lot from this video
Awesome vid mate tyvm 👍🥇
Extremely helpful thankyou
10/10 content HH - well done sir!
Solid tips for mid game hades! I’m trying to progress and finding holes in my roster and trying to patch them up. Surprise surprise having trouble moving forward on spider.
Good looking out man I learned a lot from this video messed up a lot of my gear sets tho lol
Why is Raid not putting a link on they’re game to this video ?? Great video sir!
Appreciate the tips!
Great tips, couple I didn't know. Also took me way too long to click the great hall upgrades were global and not just for arena fights :)
You mentioned 220 ish for ACC end game PVP but what do the last 3 clan boss need along with the final dungeons?
I'd also like to know the hit rates for getting champions as rewards for campaign missions. It seems to same for normal through to brutal so wondering of farming normal would make more sense if only for those?
Cheers
DEF > HP is oversimplified.
DEF is better for champs you want to get attacked and champs that scale damage off of it. But HP is perhaps the largest factor in who the AI chooses to target. My synthesis of this information is that you should stack HP on champs that you don't want to be targeted.
That is certainly a factor to be considered, especially in spider tank strat.
Mostly in spider
Actually brilliant point
Good vid, learned lots.
Another thing I just learned recently is that there's a big difference between freeze, stun and sleep.I knew that sleep can be broken but I didn't know that frozen enemies take 75% of incoming damage while stunned champions take 100% of the incoming damage.
I ain't know that either lol
What?? That is interesting!!
News to me also, thank you.
what? WHAT???
was this mentioned in forums, discord etc
@@nilimaghosh3028 It's written on ayumilove and I got this screenshot from a clan member who saw the reply in the forum i.imgur.com/RwMCs6o.jpg
Lol
Mate, your Great Hall looks scary, so much gold, it hurts my eyes :)))
My question is, when someone like Apothecary boosts both turn meter and speed, does the change in speed also affect the turn meter at the start of the fight?
Brilliant Vid thanks HH. When are you going to start streaming on twitch???
Always love the vids, thank you for your time enlightening, at least, myself. I did not know about the counterattack order (even though I don't have any of those champs yet), I will keep that in the back of my head. I do have a question. When do you not gear a character for 100% crit rate? Obviously other than supports/turn meter manipulators/buff/debuffers? I see quite a few champs in your vids and from more of our other favorite UA-camrs that have a lower crit rate and super high crit damage. Shouldn't the rate be there to guarantee the extra damage? I know I'm missing something here. Would love any more insight you have.
Yeah sometimes they could be paired with a crit rate buffer like mausoleum mage. Sometimes their important abilities boost it naturally
Hell Hades dropping knowledge bombs! 🧨BOOM!
Very nice and informative Video and so I got 2 follow up Questions:
1. is 4500 Defence the turning when I should switch to Defence or 4500 +60% (7200) so for exp. if I could have def. up 60% on my Champs all the time should I start to more heavily invest in hp after hitting 3000 def. (4800 with def. up)
2. I think you mentionted that the percentage for stun Sleep and Freeze gear is not effected by acc. or resistence meaning it stays by 18% for stun no matter the stats on the attacker and attacked, did I get this Right?^^
1. Above 4500 total the migration is less effective but you hit harder. So 3000 is a good number for survival but not necessarily damage.
2. Spot on
@@HellHades okay thank you very very much :)
Murderinc, Stew, Ash, Scratch, Deadwood Jedi are my must watch. I'm stuck on spider20.
