Hey HH, I've been trying to theory craft as an early game player (Finally got my Khatun :3) and the game has given me very nice toys to play with on CB: Frozen Banshee (Acc chest because I want her to tank stuns) Rector Drath (Fully booked, Immortal set with a touch of Resilience) Skullcrusher (Lifesteal and speed, only atk is on his sword artifact, no book on A2 yet sadly) Elhain (Level 60, built in a toxic set with crit rate 100%, and a perception set to increase acc) and High Khatun (speedy girl go fast). This comp has given me nutty success in early game CB. Want to trade out Elhain for Kael for those fortunate enough. Best case scenario would be trading Kael for Dracomorph. And I think Apothecary in possibly a relentless set would be better than Khatun. FB would take place as leader in that case. Or I don't know what Dracomorph's aura is off the top of my head. I suppose I'm requesting this team for a video? I really want to see what that peak potential is *w*
What advantage does Bluestacks have over the regular desktop app for running it overnight? I tried it, for about 2 hours, and haven't noticed any advantage there. But I suspect I MIGHT be missing something.
@@tombarros-wing1544 Your missing The macro’s. You can create macros for all kinds of Different things. Main big one, running brutal 12-3, on auto, over and over. Setting up a macro that will click replay, after every finish. I personally use OMG Click with the Plarium PC Client. It has a food swap(currently broken if swapping champions above rank 2, but will be fixed in new release by end of month I believe) function that will swap your fully leveled Champs out for 3 new ones, and run again till maxed and swap again. It honestly kept me playing the game when I was about burnt out on having to constantly grind food 24/7. But now, I just set auto when I go to sleep, or I’m leaving the house, or doing stuff around the house, come back and 3 rank 3 champs lvl 30 done! Rinse and repeat, walk away. It’s nice because then I can actually focus on dungeons and other fun progression in the game and not the tedious food grind. (Oh and Auto Gear sell filters. Which is absolute amazing. Silver stacks up nice and quick this way aswell. ) You can also auto on dungeons. So if you need to grind a specific dungeon for certain gear, you can set it To run x amount of runs, even tell it to restore energy automatically with refill potions or gems if no refills available. Either application will give you similar functionality. I just pefer OMG Click, for 1) I don’t have to create different macros 2) Bluestacks is a bit resource hungry, being that it’s an emulator, on my older laptop... 3) OMG Click is one little application, with great options and filters, and it’s straightforward. *This is just my own personal preference and opinion. By no means is this a jab or bash on bluestacks.... Thanks...*
im pretty sure when you use multiple books they all go into the same skill due to the design of the game. im a new player and i already know this im level 46 now. free to play account. i play on pc
@@BDFProtector It has to do with how books get assigned. He seemed to have an idea. But basically a skill is randomly chosen, then all books are assigned to that skill until it is maxed. So his odds were 67% on first booking, 50% on second. So depending on how you're booking, you occasionally want to stack or break them up
@@neekeriniilo7977 only if the skill it lands on does not have a high enough cap to place all the books. Feel free to play test it yourself on rares or something but that is how the system works
The sad part is, if plarium wasn't complete cunts, we should be able to put books where we choose, of course there shouldn't be any .5 chance opening shards either, If you open a gold shard you should get a lego every time. Imagine if we was to buy things from the shop and we could say, .5 percent chance I will pay you, I bet that would stop quickly with these developers.
@@arabarran the old champs that don't take 15 books are where it's at. Seer is an OP epic and a bonus she's only 7 books. I just got Sethalia and Tower to fully book them is 17 books, which is 1 fewer than to just book Pyxniel or 1 more than Brago.
@@jasonbourne1596 plarium attract gamblers, the guys who will spend 100$ to buy 3 sacreds to get 3 epics and then say let em buy 3 more to try again. If they got the 3 leggos they wouldnt be as tempted to spend again. Their business model is to drain as much as possible.

@@gogetem4 One of my main problems with Gacha games (not RPG like Raid likes to pretend it is) like this is the sheer amount of time you have to invest in it even if you pay, much less as a FTP person. I shouldn't have to play it nearly 24 hours a day in order to just improve slightly.
Not only does HH gets lucky with the books, he plays the Arcane dungeon and gets 2 superior potions on the first try, then he screws up in mino by putting 2 food champs and the scrolls go to dagger. Dam the luck! Good video man.
It's also really good to farm 9-6 for boots, XP, and Warmaidens, so that you can use the dupes to max out Warmaiden's A3. She'll be the best decrease DEF champ that new players have for a long while, and you really don't want to be using books to level her skills when you can use farmable dupes instead.

I have a pretty hard time tackling a lvl 15 keep with a full 5 champ team, would love to see you put out a guide on the keeps/minotaur like you have for clan boss to help us ID good champs for each. Been playing about a month and your vids have been invaluable, thanks for all the great content!
Nice, that book stack trick is one I've been manipulating for a while. The idea is when using multiple books at the same time, the roll will choose all of them at once. If there is an overflow the excess books will then be rerolled; again all together.
One more further tip to be even more efficient. If you are levelling a strong champion (e.g. taking a 6* from Level 1 to 60), they might not need your campaign farmer to clear 12-3 Brutal and could farm it themselves, albeit slower. You could make them the farmer with food meaning that 0% of the XP is wasted.
HH, I've had crazy good RNG by clicking the ability I want booked, then adding books, then clicking the ability again, then clicking "Upgrade." IDK if it's just superstition or however you'd word it, but I think this video sorta shows what I mean; as you explain where you want the books, you keep clicking the abilities then click upgrade, and bam, you have them all go into the one spot...
I've done that exact same thing since I first started playing! It started because at first I thought you could choose which ability to upgrade (I guess I hadn't learned enough about Plarium yet...) but I wasn't sure whether you should click an ability before or after the book is selected, so I would click the ability before and after. It seemed to work really consistently for such a long time, but it's been failing me recently :(

If you are about leveling a nuker, like big-un or zargala, you might as well use that nuker from approx. lvl 40 on to lead a team of 4 through 12-3 on brutal (if you - as I - dont have the nuker to farm 12-3 on nightmare).thereby you don't waste any xp into a fully leveled champion.
Hahaha that booking RNG was sweet, I got the same results on my FTP account when I was booking Dhuke the Pierced, put 6 epic books into him and all went to his A2 haha, feels good
As a f2p entering my 4th month now I can’t say that I agree with the clan boss focus for champion leveling. Ideally that’s what you would want since it drops the best stuff, but you want have anything resembling the gear you need to push clan boss. If you can’t farm a reasonable level of dragon and spider it’s going to be rough going without that gear. Especially lifesteal and accuracy banners. I just think it’s better to go with balanced champs first to farm more areas of the game so you can eventually push clan boss.
Love these vids. I been stuck in the mid game for months without a gameplan for where to go and how to get there. Kinda stuck in a demotivated rut, ya know. This kinda stuff gives me some help there

Great video hades love the contents, an I was wondering if you click on the A1 an then put the books into a character they go onto that skills, an vise versa for the A2 and A3 that's why I think you managed to get the books to land on those skills, imo keep up the awesome work
I've noticed that if you use more books then can go in the A1at one time it will fill up skills that can take all the books first. It has done this for me 75% of the time.
books work in a way of random / upgrade, if you use more books, than a certain skill needs, all of them will go into another, that still needs at least as much upgrades, so if you have a crappy A1, but a many book A2, it's good to use many books at once, because it'll skip the A1 and put that upgrade into A2 or A3, if they can be put there all at once.
There are so many reasons why you should farm Mino: 1. It's cheaper gem-wise 2. You get silver 3. By spending energy you get progress towards account level 4. You can level up your champions (If I'm not mistaken leveling a 6 star with 2 boosters will get you around level 55 before you get your scrolls, putting in 3 champions to level with 2 booster will be even more efficient) 5. You can stop early (some champions don't require full masteries which means less gems spent)
Two big QoL updates I'd love to see with books is the first one get rid of the percentage chance to land debuffs, you either have enough accuracy to land them or you don't, adding a percent change to land them is ridiculous, and second just give us the option to book the skills we want. (To the question of what about the books we've invested if they get rid of the percent chance, simple refund those books specifically.)
I don't know why I never thought of doing that with the dragon. I'm farming it anyway so I just made a team with Duchess and Venus with some food, and they did it no problem in nine minutes. A lot longer than two minutes, but still a minute faster than the team I used in the last faction dragon tournament.
A lot of new champs have been added since you put out Top 10 Epic and Legendary not to book lists. Are you planning to put out updated videos to include the new champs? I always look for the champs i don't need to book when looking to go 6 star.
Hey HellHades. Just started playing Raid about a week ago. Working on my first 6star. My question is when you and other you tubers talk about “Speed” boots do you mean just any boots that have Speed as a main stat or from the Speed set? If from the speed set what is a good item to pair it with, weapon,helm, or shield? I have lifesteal on my helm, shield, gauntlets and chest.
Are you for real with those books landing exactly for Dagger? Literally never happened to me ever and ive been playing a year!! Maybe need to do a video of booking champs to get the luck 😆
What i find most difficult regarding potions and minotaur is managing the events. Sometimes i have to Skip events to Farm for them, and everytime i take on a Champion training i level up everybody i actually Care about up to 55ish. The game gives us no incentive to do It. If potions counted towards Dungeon divers and mino events were a thing It wouldnt feel so bad.
What I'd REALLY like to see (as a F2P player) is some content creators focusing on which champs synergize best with other - if champ A has small version drop def, it synergizes with champ B because they also can drop defense (on maybe a different cooldown) as well as an increase atk to make up some difference (for example.) When added to champ C as a tank with X, Y and Z abilities, the likely output on CB/NM is going to be ~ ### and optional characters that would go in this team would be champs blah, blah, blah, blah and blah... As a newer player, I haven't seen these team-building type of video. HH *does* have some guides on the website that gives info *similar* to this, where there's substitutions for this or that member on a boss team, but lower players still don't have a lot of those higher-end substitutions either. I'm just now after almost 5-6 months getting a decent amount of those mid-tier and high-tier champs (which may just be garbage RNG) to make some of these good teams, much less really good competitive teams to progress decently.

When HH puts Siphi in the background and i check that she already has +139 speed with only 4 pieces that can get her more speed... there are still 3 more pieces that can increase her speed. DAMN
When you are farming and you have few energy it’s wise to farm with a 5* champion that can farm the campaign and also level up. That way you don’t miss that 25% on a full levelled champion. Also it’s wise to hold the 3 day experience boost from the advanced missions to the moment you are going to level up champions. Meanwhile you can upgrade masteries or farm potions.
Hello HellHades. Iam looking for advice. I dropped Warlord and I want to use him in my CB team and change him for Septimus, but at your websites you say Warlord is "arena war god". Septimus is very good one shot killer with A1 if i can use him in better gear than life steal. So now i dont know witch of them i should use. Iam doin NM on 2 keys +-60M. (Altan Lead, skullcrusher, septimus, Occult brawler, rhazin). Next time i want to change rhazin for Jitoro. And my arena team is Arbiter lead, Ma´Shalled,Maulie and Sethallia/Little Miss Annie. Hi all, new f2p player looking for advise. Almost got my first 6 star, what should I be doing with my trash rares (especially dupes)? I have 5 berserker’s, 3 heiress’. Should I be keeping them, or just using them as food?
Could you argue the point that using gems for scrolls allow you to use that energy and especially time farming exp/items/potions? Or still not worth it?
If you want to get the most scrolls per run. Wouldn't you get more scrolls with a 3 champ team, with only one champ needing scrolls? vs 5 champ team with only one champ needing scrolls? Or are scrolls not like experience?
i like your last comment, this game is all about the roster, thats why generally i am not agree into any tier list because everyone roster is basically unique and you need to work that one out. all of that are being covered by your basic guide. keep up making good content HH.
I have been playing for about 9 months now. I use the Minotaur strat, but I found that you could easily defeat 15 with all champions not 60. Or use Scyl with 3 sets of Immortal gear to keep her alive as a single 60 champ. Then stager the champions you wanna level. For example don't use 4/5 level 1s. Have 1 6 star level ~50, 1 ~30, etc. It will take a lot longer but it is safe. I haven't failed a round yet, except when I thought I could do a level 50+ and 4 level 1s. Doing this I usually complete masteries at 50+ for legos and 40+ for Epics. If I have 4 champions needing masteries
I personally think I am early-mid game content. My current CB team can 1 key Normal for almost double the damage needed for max chest and can 2 key hard (does around 6-7 million damage.) The team is Kael (poison), Julianna (HP burn, poison, debuffer on HP burn attack), Bogwalker (Atk down), Apothecary (Speed boost/healer), and Doompriest (survivability with extra healing, cleanser). My other name Champs recently acquired: Royal Guard: I can see his potential with his max HP attack, but I am thinking he's not for the stage where I am, but for future deeper CB runs. Madame Serris: She does ATK down and Defense down, but I don't have the epic books to invest in her Royal Huntsman: Don't think he's really a CB guy Psylar Cardinal Maus Mage Athel Ultimate Galek Jizoh Dark Athel coming soon I just don't have the gear/kit I need for most of these Champs and because they are specced/geared for CB content, they don't peform well in Arena (my best team runs around 60K power and I am up against teams with 90-120+ power scores in Bronze 1 and 2 somehow), my best spider team can only clear 10, my dragon team does I think 13-14. I am around that level of every dungeon. I just don't get the equip drop for the stats I need. Feels like I am in a huge rut as I have been stuck here for ages and can't progress.
Now people will want to want you not just for shard pulling, but also for booking! Wow; what amazing luck; I wonder what the odds are. I had this happen once, to a much lesser degree (needed 2 books to fall into Midnight Ritual for Madame).
That was some crazy luck on your Dagger haha. So...how did you get so many books to use on skills? I'm fairly new, only lvl 37 and I never have books unless I spend money, and I'm trying to not spend money.

If you are about leveling a nuker, like big-un or zargala, you might as well use that nuker from approx. lvl 40 on to lead a team of 4 through 12-3 on brutal (if you - as I - dont have the nuker to farm 12-3 on nightmare).thereby you don't waste any xp into a fully leveled champion.
Hahaha that booking RNG was sweet, I got the same results on my FTP account when I was booking Dhuke the Pierced, put 6 epic books into him and all went to his A2 haha, feels good
As a f2p entering my 4th month now I can’t say that I agree with the clan boss focus for champion leveling. Ideally that’s what you would want since it drops the best stuff, but you want have anything resembling the gear you need to push clan boss. If you can’t farm a reasonable level of dragon and spider it’s going to be rough going without that gear. Especially lifesteal and accuracy banners. I just think it’s better to go with balanced champs first to farm more areas of the game so you can eventually push clan boss.
I'm so glad this information has finally been consolidated. Will make pointing new players in the right direction so much easier.

I would love a video about which epics and rares should be viewed as food, because when you're new to the game it isn't obvious. I have a ton of champions sitting around that I strongly suspect are trash, but I'm afraid to get rid of them.

I booked out a Kreela yesterday, threw in six books and it filled out the A2 and A3, didn’t waste any on the A1. Job done.

Great video hades love the contents, an I was wondering if you click on the A1 an then put the books into a character they go onto that skills, an vise versa for the A2 and A3 that's why I think you managed to get the books to land on those skills, imo keep up the awesome work
I've noticed that if you use more books then can go in the A1at one time it will fill up skills that can take all the books first. It has done this for me 75% of the time.
Yeah I tried that the other day, threw books into 2 different places, even though only one place took the 6 books I threw at it.

Haha that was amazing with the books. Got lucky once and did the same with Rhazin's a2. Every other champ it's taken every book possible.
books work in a way of random / upgrade, if you use more books, than a certain skill needs, all of them will go into another, that still needs at least as much upgrades, so if you have a crappy A1, but a many book A2, it's good to use many books at once, because it'll skip the A1 and put that upgrade into A2 or A3, if they can be put there all at once.

There are so many reasons why you should farm Mino:
1. It's cheaper gem-wise
2. You get silver
3. By spending energy you get progress towards account level
4. You can level up your champions (If I'm not mistaken leveling a 6 star with 2 boosters will get you around level 55 before you get your scrolls, putting in 3 champions to level with 2 booster will be even more efficient)
5. You can stop early (some champions don't require full masteries which means less gems spent)

Two big QoL updates I'd love to see with books is the first one get rid of the percentage chance to land debuffs, you either have enough accuracy to land them or you don't, adding a percent change to land them is ridiculous, and second just give us the option to book the skills we want. (To the question of what about the books we've invested if they get rid of the percent chance, simple refund those books specifically.)

I don't know why I never thought of doing that with the dragon. I'm farming it anyway so I just made a team with Duchess and Venus with some food, and they did it no problem in nine minutes. A lot longer than two minutes, but still a minute faster than the team I used in the last faction dragon tournament.
A lot of new champs have been added since you put out Top 10 Epic and Legendary not to book lists. Are you planning to put out updated videos to include the new champs? I always look for the champs i don't need to book when looking to go 6 star.
Hey HellHades. Just started playing Raid about a week ago. Working on my first 6star. My question is when you and other you tubers talk about “Speed” boots do you mean just any boots that have Speed as a main stat or from the Speed set? If from the speed set what is a good item to pair it with, weapon,helm, or shield? I have lifesteal on my helm, shield, gauntlets and chest.
Think he means speed is the main stat, which is the biggest writing on it. The smaller words e.g. Accuracy,attack, etc are the sub stats

What i find most difficult regarding potions and minotaur is managing the events. Sometimes i have to Skip events to Farm for them, and everytime i take on a Champion training i level up everybody i actually Care about up to 55ish. The game gives us no incentive to do It. If potions counted towards Dungeon divers and mino events were a thing It wouldnt feel so bad.
Literally why I just buy my Masteries with gems.... IMO, Mino is the absolute biggest waste of resources and time...

What I'd REALLY like to see (as a F2P player) is some content creators focusing on which champs synergize best with other - if champ A has small version drop def, it synergizes with champ B because they also can drop defense (on maybe a different cooldown) as well as an increase atk to make up some difference (for example.) When added to champ C as a tank with X, Y and Z abilities, the likely output on CB/NM is going to be ~ ### and optional characters that would go in this team would be champs blah, blah, blah, blah and blah... As a newer player, I haven't seen these team-building type of video. HH *does* have some guides on the website that gives info *similar* to this, where there's substitutions for this or that member on a boss team, but lower players still don't have a lot of those higher-end substitutions either. I'm just now after almost 5-6 months getting a decent amount of those mid-tier and high-tier champs (which may just be garbage RNG) to make some of these good teams, much less really good competitive teams to progress decently.

I had 3 books for my dutchess and they all landed on her cooldowns last week I was stoked.
When you are farming and you have few energy it’s wise to farm with a 5* champion that can farm the campaign and also level up. That way you don’t miss that 25% on a full levelled champion.
Also it’s wise to hold the 3 day experience boost from the advanced missions to the moment you are going to level up champions. Meanwhile you can upgrade masteries or farm potions.
Hello HellHades. Iam looking for advice. I dropped Warlord and I want to use him in my CB team and change him for Septimus, but at your websites you say Warlord is "arena war god". Septimus is very good one shot killer with A1 if i can use him in better gear than life steal. So now i dont know witch of them i should use. Iam doin NM on 2 keys +-60M. (Altan Lead, skullcrusher, septimus, Occult brawler, rhazin). Next time i want to change rhazin for Jitoro. And my arena team is Arbiter lead, Ma´Shalled,Maulie and Sethallia/Little Miss Annie. Hi all, new f2p player looking for advise. Almost got my first 6 star, what should I be doing with my trash rares (especially dupes)? I have 5 berserker’s, 3 heiress’. Should I be keeping them, or just using them as food?
Could you argue the point that using gems for scrolls allow you to use that energy and especially time farming exp/items/potions? Or still not worth it?
I'm early game, figured out elhain can solo lv.20 spirit minotur (not stage 20), now she give 5k xp to my other champs, which is my best yet.
If you want to get the most scrolls per run. Wouldn't you get more scrolls with a 3 champ team, with only one champ needing scrolls?

i like your last comment, this game is all about the roster, thats why generally i am not agree into any tier list because everyone roster is basically unique and you need to work that one out.

I have been playing for about 9 months now. I use the Minotaur strat, but I found that you could easily defeat 15 with all champions not 60. Or use Scyl with 3 sets of Immortal gear to keep her alive as a single 60 champ.
Then stager the champions you wanna level. For example don't use 4/5 level 1s. Have 1 6 star level ~50, 1 ~30, etc. It will take a lot longer but it is safe. I haven't failed a round yet, except when I thought I could do a level 50+ and 4 level 1s.
Doing this I usually complete masteries at 50+ for legos and 40+ for Epics. If I have 4 champions needing masteries

I personally think I am early-mid game content. My current CB team can 1 key Normal for almost double the damage needed for max chest and can 2 key hard (does around 6-7 million damage.) The team is Kael (poison), Julianna (HP burn, poison, debuffer on HP burn attack), Bogwalker (Atk down), Apothecary (Speed boost/healer), and Doompriest (survivability with extra healing, cleanser).
My other name Champs recently acquired:
Royal Guard: I can see his potential with his max HP attack, but I am thinking he's not for the stage where I am, but for future deeper CB runs.
Madame Serris: She does ATK down and Defense down, but I don't have the epic books to invest in her
Royal Huntsman: Don't think he's really a CB guy

Maus Mage
Athel
Ultimate Galek
Jizoh

I just don't have the gear/kit I need for most of these Champs and because they are specced/geared for CB content, they don't peform well in Arena (my best team runs around 60K power and I am up against teams with 90-120+ power scores in Bronze 1 and 2 somehow), my best spider team can only clear 10, my dragon team does I think 13-14. I am around that level of every dungeon. I just don't get the equip drop for the stats I need. Feels like I am in a huge rut as I have been stuck here for ages and can't progress.
I've slid in Madame Serris for Bogwalker and it makes near as much no difference, maybe even do slightly worse with her than Bogwalker.
Now people will want to want you not just for shard pulling, but also for booking! Wow; what amazing luck; I wonder what the odds are. I had this happen once, to a much lesser degree (needed 2 books to fall into Midnight Ritual for Madame).

That was some crazy luck on your Dagger haha. So...how did you get so many books to use on skills? I'm fairly new, only lvl 37 and I never have books unless I spend money, and I'm trying to not spend money.
Awesome video, that being said i challenge you to to beat my fk 19 and spider 16-20 with the few champs i have all fairly bad artifacted and virtually no silver(worth a try hahaha)
ive notice that if you click on the skill that you want to improve it has higher chance of putting the books there it could just be me but try it out
