It sounds amazing and well played. I've always wanted to compare a club date set to a downbeat set in the closest possible tuning to see how much difference there is in terms of sound. If one day you are bored... you do have the means to do it
I’m the original owner of a 65 club date sky blue pearl still in great shape and still love playing them. I tend to like them in a higher tuning but not quite as high as your tuning. Regardless they always sound fantastic.
Always liked the old Ludwig Club Date drums..I believe the shell composition was actually the same as the 'Classic' line at the time? I found an old three-piece Club Date kit at a garage sale some years ago. Original finish was lacquered 'duo' cream and red I stripped off the lacquer finish down to the natural wood finish (I like natural wood finish). The hardware is nickeled with brass no serial number shell tags putting the kit at rather old. Great sound full and open. Tasty playing too.
This set would sound good in the higher tuning range, but it's apparent that Noah hasn't figured out how to do that. Not a hater. Just keepin' it real. There's an octave between the rack and floor. Who does that?

Best drums Ludwig ever made. Least hardware weighing them down.
I love love mine set from '65.
Sounds great, looks great! Noah is the man!
A lovely drum kit!!! ❤️❤️🤘🏻😎🥁
you guys sure love your Ludwigs. Nice kit by the way. ;-) Would love to see some Rogers kits. Love Noah's drumming style and feel.
Beatiful!!!!!

Can you hold on to this kit until I win the lottery? Dumbest thing I ever did was to sell my 60s Club Dates.
Sounds great in low tuning
I went into Faust Music once...without an appointment. You know where this is going.

Not an octave.
